Traditional industry; HR has the arrogance of a large Taiwanese company. They say they value employees and that employees are the company's most important assets, but in the end, they only value employees' abilities and output. They probably won't waste time on education and training. Even if they do provide it, they would probably just rush through it.

Cons

HR seems a bit older. It appears they recruit people according to the company's staffing needs. You must fill out a form before the interview, and salary negotiation is not possible. The actual job duties are far more extensive than stated in the job posting.

Cross-border E-commerce Specialist: They are looking for someone with excellent English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills to communicate with people overseas.

Japan & Europe Sales: They are looking for local people, preferably those who can move freely between Taiwan and the local market, and yet the position is posted on 104??Do people overseas use 104? I think working directly in the local market would be more worthwhile, and the local visa probably isn't very easy to obtain either.

Note: I am not an employee and will not respond again. If someone replies under the comments, they are probably a supervisor or employee impersonating me.

The individual, Wang Zhiqun, was employed by Shengzhou Enterprise from October 2022 to August 2023. Due to friction and misunderstandings with the company at the time of leaving, he posted many false statements about Shengzhou Enterprise online after leaving. These statements were purely personal emotional remarks, causing Shengzhou Company considerable distress. This is hereby clarified and apologized for. The aforementioned message on Tiantong could not be deleted for unknown reasons, so it is specifically stated that the above remarks were personally fabricated and emotionally motivated. Job applicants are requested to disregard the above remarks.

There is an MRT station next door; if the work drives you to despair, there is also a military recruitment center nearby.

Cons

This company will only waste your life. Do not try it lightly; the reviews here are quite accurate.

A manager who speaks harshly and sarcastically

If you hadn't told me, I would have thought that was born from that X...

Pros

Many senior employees

Authority is tightly centralized

Cons

Many senior employees with no desire for improvement; authority is not easily delegated. New employees need to earn trust, which may take 2–3 years. It is a family-owned business and does not tolerate outside interference. The company is very good at making grand promises but does very little to implement them. Salaries are low. Those who raise problems are expected to solve them on their own. The company’s governance capabilities are poor; it wants to achieve success overnight instead of proceeding step by step. It is currently pursuing an IPO, but the company’s internal operations are poor.

After submitting my résumé, the initial interview invitation was very strange. They asked me to call with a time that was convenient for me, only to then say that the manager wasn’t available at that time. I then went to the interview according to the manager’s schedule, but was interviewed only by HR. (At the time, I wasn’t in Taipei, and I still had to travel back and forth according to the time they specified.)

During the process, HR kept pressing me with intrusive personal questions and repeatedly demanded to know my previous salary. (They kept guessing amounts and asking whether it was this or that, pressuring me to say it and insisting on narrowing it down until they guessed it 🤬.) They were extremely rude. When they asked about my expected salary, I stated the lowest amount in the range listed for the position, yet they acted as if they had no intention of offering that salary. The whole process was extremely uncomfortable! Then they said they would get the manager to interview me. I waited for a long time—at least 10 minutes, possibly nearly 20 (I couldn’t conveniently check the time)—but they came back and told me the manager was busy, and that the manager would review my written materials before deciding whether to notify me about a second interview! (I was completely speechless. You were the one doing all the talking.)

It wasn’t until I got home that I thought to look online for information about interviews at this company, and I found a whole bunch of negative reviews! Since then, I’ve made sure to check online reviews before submitting a résumé or attending an interview, so I can decide whether it’s worth it and avoid wasting time and energy. Preparing for an interview also takes effort, you know! Stop messing job seekers around. Everyone’s time is valuable—it’s not only your company’s and managers’ time that matters, okay? Truly an infuriating, terrible company!

For group lunch orders, you only need to pay 65 (deducted from your salary); the company pays the rest.

Cons

Each month, employees in the lower salary tier have 200 deducted as a company welfare fund. They say that for weddings, funerals, and other celebrations or condolences involving company colleagues, gifts will be given in the name of the company and all colleagues. If you have a closer personal relationship, you give an additional gift privately..... So the only way to earn it back is through the daily lunchbox cost!?

Pros

1. It’s possible to work regular hours, but you’ll be criticized for why you’re able to leave work on time.

Cons

1. A complete family business. When a decision-maker at the top gives an order, people below must immediately cooperate. If they cannot, it is considered an individual problem, not a problem with the company’s (family’s) system.

2. The positioning of job openings is inexplicable. Regardless of the position you apply for, the company has complete authority to decide your future direction. A marketing specialist being transferred to the advertising department? Reasonable. A foreign trade position turning into a planning role? Also completely reasonable. In short, no matter what position you join in, you can fully experience the workflow of the entire company.

3. The management doesn’t understand management. They believe their job is simply to delegate work: whatever they tell you to do, you do it. Fully understanding the content of an entire project and then assigning tasks based on employees’ characteristics is unheard of here.

4. Communication is extremely inefficient. Whether you print out a document and leave it on a desk or send it to an inbox, neither is considered a proper way to communicate at work. If you don’t report directly to the person concerned, you are considered irresponsible and accused of failing to properly notify other departments.

5. Poor grasp of numbers. Extremely poor. Even though the company has already established a system, they still insist on preparing reports manually.

6. The ultimate buck-passer. As long as someone has a particular area of expertise, every task will be piled onto that same person. “Because you have this expertise, you should be able to handle this too, right?” Not a chance.

7. They don’t know how to reflect on their mistakes.
