Putting customers first is not wrong, but I don’t understand why the company has to absorb the cost when the buyer was clearly at fault—the clothes were dirtied and had an absurdly bad smell. This will only spoil customers! Their brains are really filled with water~

Only after starting did I learn that the workload I was expected to take on was equivalent to an entire department’s. The person training me also had a very bad attitude and no patience.
They were always rushing to finish teaching everything in one day—but how could that be possible?
They would even deliberately scold new employees very loudly so that everyone nearby could hear. The employees didn’t help each other either.
They stubbornly insisted on using their outdated methods for website articles and photos, and were completely unable to accept other people’s suggestions.
They even dared to say they were a leader in the fashion industry and much better than many others today? Are they living in their own world? 😂😂

1. When I joined, I hoped to start work as soon as possible. At the end of the year, employees were informed without warning that they would be laid off after their workdays, causing tremendous inconvenience.

At work, my colleagues are very self-centered, and the division of responsibilities is not very clear. When I ask questions, the response I most often get is: “I don't know,” “That's not something I handle,” or “Go ask xxx.” Finding the person in charge means going through one obstacle after another... putting on a smile, selling yourself, and shamelessly buttering people up!
But to reiterate... my colleagues are still nice in private, as long as it doesn't involve their own interests... Is this what society is like?!
Nothing, very ordinary.
1. The old building is in terrible condition. The cooling tower isn’t operated in winter, and the indoor air circulation is unbearably poor.
2. The boss has poor emotional control, cannot see the problems with the products, has an overly positive self-image, and spends all day making people write reports that tell him what he wants to see.
3. The bonus system keeps changing, and the performance bonuses are pitifully small.
4. The senior executives are all the boss’s and the boss’s wife’s confidants. They have extremely long tenure, making promotion difficult. Their moods are just like the boss’s and his wife’s—highly emotional.
5. The product quality is poor and the styles are outdated. You can find better products at Taobao prices.
The company gives you what it should, but not much more, because business performance is fairly stable and the regular bonuses are always paid.
Other than the money, there doesn’t seem to be anything else. If you want a stable job to stay in until retirement, it’s worth considering.
Most people at the company dress fairly well, the atmosphere at work is okay, and you can bring pets to work.
- The salaries for general specialists and assistants are on the low side, and there is no overtime pay. If you really have no choice but to work overtime, you are even required to take compensatory time off.
- For information-security reasons, the company blocks LINE, so everyone internally uses Skype. Any major matter is communicated by forwarding messages on Skype. You wonder what email is even for (oh, and the company isn’t willing to pay for Gmail either, so it uses free Live Mail).
- There are many long-time employees internally. If they become even a little unhappy, they go straight to the boss to make petty reports. The communication process is full of malice, and they may even distort the original meaning when reporting to the boss.
- The industry is very interesting, but the management is very old-fashioned. Basically, everything is decided by the boss, who is very good at creating appearances—an example of “golden on the outside, rotten within.”
- Departments depend heavily on their managers, who determine a lot of things. The manager of the Operations Department is not very capable, goes around cultivating connections, boasts about having worked at major companies, and tries to create an image of being socially adept. The Media Department is extremely opaque; people make petty reports and are very good at currying favor with the boss. Many people have complaints about their manager. The manager of the Business Department is very prone to shouting, and the department’s turnover rate is frighteningly high. There are quite a lot of people like this—many of them are just putting on a show and trying to be good children in front of the boss.
- There are also issues with the company evading taxes. The boss keeps trying to cover up the negative news.
- Quite a few people have time during work to handle their own side businesses or other matters, including managers. Some work on their personal purchasing-agent business during office hours, while others make felt crafts—haha.
- The boss keeps changing policies. Many things are started and then stopped, or vice versa. The management style is quite chaotic, and departments are allowed to fight among themselves. This is not the kind of decision-making boss who takes the lead in setting company policy.
Working here requires dealing with many interpersonal relationships and constantly guarding against someone stabbing you in the back. If you simply want to do your job without complications, you will probably have a hard time adapting.
HR was polite
During the pandemic, the interview was conducted online. The interview had been scheduled in advance, and the HR representative and supervisor attended together. The HR representative was very professional, but the female supervisor was very impolite. Throughout the interview, she kept handling her own things, and after asking questions, she even responded sarcastically to the answers, which was truly astonishing. This made the atmosphere of the entire interview very unpleasant, and I just wanted it to end as soon as possible. After the interview, I could already guess that there would be no follow-up, but HR said they would provide a response within 8–10 days, and then disappeared into the crowd. Speechless once again.
Year-end bonus paid twice a year, in August and February (but this year they said that due to the pandemic, it would all be paid together next year)

When I called to ask, the attitude felt very flippant. During the call, they repeatedly asked whether I understood the job responsibilities. The question was asked so frequently that I became suspicious and checked the position I had applied for, only to find that it had been closed and replaced by another position.
I then had a face-to-face interview that same day. It was fine that the other party was late, but no one attended to me throughout the process. In the end, they responded to me in writing, saying that they were not ready yet (the impolite response even contained a typo). I said okay and waited a few minutes. Then they asked me, “Can you start the interview now????” (Was I the one preventing the interview from starting...?)
Their attitude during the interview was also not very good. They kept laughing—not the kind of polite laughter—which made me feel very uncomfortable.
I don’t know how they view interview candidates. They cannot even show basic respect toward an interviewee. Making one accidental mistake during one part of the process would be understandable, but the entire interview process was problematic from beginning to end and disrespectful. They should be rejected immediately.

They then scheduled an interview for 4 p.m. the following afternoon and asked me to prepare a proposal regarding the company’s products.
They also wanted me to bring plans from my previous company.
Later, after receiving an email and a notification from the job bank, I discovered that the proposal was supposed to be submitted by noon the next day.
Hello? You called a little after 3 p.m. and wanted me to submit a proposal by noon the next day??
I immediately rejected it through the system. Absolutely disgusting.
You may have a chance to see celebrities (but most of them are minor models).
The building's facilities are old and problematic—power outages, leaks, clogged toilets, and so on are common. However, the building was bought by the boss, so there is no possibility of replacing it.
The long-time employees are difficult to deal with. The senior boss wants to introduce AI, but no one there specializes in it. The consultants talk a good game, making everything sound magnificent, but in fact, you can tell they are merely people with superficial knowledge pretending to be experts.
Even the database is quite bizarre: the table names are in Chinese. This was the first time I had ever seen that. The boss does not want to change it either; as long as it works, they use it. This very much reflects the atmosphere of the company: as long as it does not cause a major problem for the time being, they use it.
The frontend team works very hard, and is also very tired.
Some people simply slack off and only want to shirk, pass the buck, and drag things out.

Information is communicated via Skype at work—even when you’re sitting right next to each other, you still have to use Skype. It’s unbelievably stupid!
Turnover is fairly high, and colleagues don’t have very good relationships with one another either.
But the image-editing department is well suited for coasting toward retirement, because all you have to do is apply the standard templates.
