Pros

The restroom is very clean, and watching the unreasonable boss perform a Sichuan-opera-style face change is quite thrilling.

Cons

1. There is evidence that the company violates the Labor Standards Act.

2. The stated payday is the 5th of every month, but whether the salary is actually paid on time is another matter.

3. The job posting on the recruitment website stated that the regular monthly salary would be at least NT$40,000. In reality, after employees start work, the employer uses the probationary period as a reason to state that the wage during probation is NT$160 per hour (for one hour). Even the monthly salary for a full-time position is not NT$40,000.

4. Regardless of what time employees leave work, the employer requires their wages to be calculated only until 3:30 p.m.

5. Workplace bullying: loudly insulting employees by asking whether they are sick or have problems, calling them shameless or obese, accusing them of intending to steal things, questioning how their parents raised them, and so on.

6. If you do not comply with the employer’s unreasonable demands or request overtime pay, they will subject you to an intense barrage of verbal abuse and cold violence, saying they will fire you.

7. As soon as you mention money to the employer, they blow up and make sure you experience plenty of emotional turmoil at work.

8. I’m leaving this review as a public service. After reading all of the above, if you still decide to take the job, all I can say is: take care of yourself!

Pros

The office is beautiful

Cons

1. The accountant is extremely petty and calculating. She still brings up the fact that the company owed her a few hundred dollars more than ten years ago.

Also, she is extremely particular and does not lend things. This is related to the first point.

2. She is also very unsympathetic toward the design team, constantly complaining that designers make mistakes. People who can leave work on time every day are not the problem; the biggest problem is the lack of consideration and empathy toward colleagues. If she is so unhappy about designers making mistakes, why doesn’t she help the designers who are so overworked that their eyes are strained? All she does is make sarcastic remarks.

Pros

You can broaden your horizons by seeing what a petty-minded boss is like.

Cons

This company is not suitable for entry-level designers who are new to the workforce, because being suppressed until the end will make you lose your passion for this industry. The boss is suspicious and constantly suspects that employees are stealing his things! The accountant will tell you that overtime pay is calculated down to the minute, but in reality, the amount of overtime pay you can actually claim is negligible. This company has been operating for 20 years, but even the most senior colleague has only been there for a little over two years. The boss understands human nature very well: he reviews drafts via LINE, and after 18:30, he selectively responds. Designers have to wait for his response before they can leave work—it all depends on his mood. When he’s in a good mood, he doesn’t respond at all, leaving designers waiting indefinitely! The boss will then say, “Do I not need to rest?!” When he’s in a bad mood, there have even been times when he made revisions until the early hours of the morning! He simply says that your abilities don’t meet his standards.

As for the accounting position, you’ll be treated like a workhorse. In any case, the boss may summon the accountant at any time to question them or call them in to lecture them together.

If one or two people say there’s something wrong with this company, then that could be dismissed as personal bias. But so many people have already said it’s a bad place, and if you still insist on walking into hell, all I can say is that you’re impressively brave~~ Best of luck.

Pros

The company environment is pretty good.

Cons

1. The boss has a very bad temper.

2. The boss insists that the office play the radio while working, which is very noisy.

3. The handover period after submitting a resignation is an absolute nightmare; you get criticized for all sorts of reasons.

4. The employment certificates always contain very negative evaluations. If you want to tarnish your professional résumé, you can work for this company.

5. Employees’ abilities vary widely, making collaboration very difficult.

Pros

The boss is very skilled at photography and photo editing.

Cons

Emotionally volatile and constantly changing his mind—you can never figure out what he actually wants.

Don't even think about getting overtime pay, unless you want him to humiliate you with all kinds of demeaning remarks about how you're not qualified to apply for it.

Violations of labor laws are simply the norm. He'll use all kinds of methods to evade them, and you'll also have to play along.

Fresh graduates who want to test their resilience can give it a try.

But don't stay too long, or you'll lose your passion for design,

lose the joy in life, and lose your fresh, healthy liver.

Pros

Speaking as someone who was once a junior salesperson at this company, being able to learn from clients (all well-known companies whose names everyone knows and with whom the company has worked for many years) and from the boss was beneficial.

From the client side: Since we had genuinely been working together for a long time, collaborating with clients allowed me to learn a little about the project processes of large companies. I also improved my presentation skills and learned how to schedule project timelines. For someone just entering the workforce, it was a good experience.

The boss himself: Well, if you want to hone your EQ and patience, this boss is the person you want to work with—guaranteed to improve them significantly. After all, there are all kinds of people in the workplace. It is better to encounter someone like this early so you will know how to respond and conduct yourself next time. However, this level is somewhat high and beyond what ordinary people would expect, so be mentally prepared. For a newcomer to the workforce, it is still a good experience!

Cons

Doing your job well is expected, but do not expect the boss to remember it. If you make a mistake, you had better accept it, because he will definitely take notes on it (no matter how minor). He will absolutely berate you until you do not dare to discuss your salary with him; anything can become ammunition, and he will talk as if you are completely useless. On top of that, there is overtime every few days, and requests for overtime pay will be rejected. Although the overtime hours are not as long as those in the design department, they are still enough to wear you down. Do you think that is the end of it? Projects often get stuck in his hands and take a long time to move forward, mostly because of the boss. Of course, the boss also wants clients to see the best possible result, but in situations like this, you are made to play the company’s bad cop and get chewed out by your clients. Usually, though, your clients know about the boss’s issues—it seems that the salespeople who worked with them before also complained to their contacts, haha. Still, you cannot avoid getting a good dressing-down.

If you want to learn any work-related skills from the boss, all I can say is: do not expect too much. Asking your colleagues and clients for advice is what really helps. The boss will say that he is a designer, not a salesperson, and cannot teach you these things, but when it comes time to prepare a quotation, he suddenly acts just like a salesperson.

In short: This company is not truly terrible, but its biggest problem is the boss himself. He will tie your hands and feet, but you can also learn from the experience how to deal with this type of person, so it is not entirely bad.

Pros

These online reviews seem very negative, and most of them are former employees from the same period taking digs at each other and complaining. I just want to take a look; they’re not reliable.

Cons

Colleagues are important; don’t be like pigs.

Pros

Those who are able to get into this company are all quite capable—I mean their performance during the interview. I’ve heard that many people say they’re joining to learn, but in the end they still can’t make it. My advice: if you don’t have the ability, don’t try. Although it’s been some time since I left, to be honest, the boss really is capable, and I learned a lot of technical skills. The company does follow the rules.

Cons

Colleagues’ abilities vary widely, which makes collaboration quite difficult.

Pros

The boss is skilled in design and photography.

Cons

The boss often doesn’t respect people.

Sometimes, they don’t treat employees like human beings.

It’s as if it’s their own company, so they’re the biggest authority.

They can throw endless tantrums and start scolding people whenever they’re unhappy, without asking why.

The accountant in particular gets singled out at any time (regardless of whether they’ve done anything wrong; they’ll be reprimanded and scolded even when nothing has happened).

New designers can’t stay long, while the veteran employees are always the most exhausted.

Whenever payday approaches, they start giving employees a hard time. You have to stay especially on guard that day—it’s extremely inexplicable.

The pay isn’t much, yet there’s an insane amount of overtime. It really isn’t worth spending your youth here.

Pros

You can experience the life of a servant,

every day is spent admitting your mistakes, letting you see your own pathetic state,

the boss is always right!!

Cons

If you saw the reviews here before your interview, congratulations!!

I sincerely recommend that you not challenge your own abilities—it isn't worth it.

---------------------------------

The boss loves to take credit for employees' work,

but someone else is always at fault.

They dump all the blame on employees (most of the time, the problem is the boss's own fault).

They love to sow discord.

They always say they will give employees opportunities, but take it with a grain of salt.

This really is a company with no opportunities and no hope.

Strongly agree...

They say there is overtime pay.

If you select the overtime pay option....

just wait to be hassled by the boss.

Your drafts will never be approved.

During meetings, they loudly berate you, saying overtime is because of poor ability.

So we all have to clock in early.

The company cuts off the power at ten,

so we often work on drafts in the dark.

They’ll tell you there’s overtime pay, but you’ll never receive it.

When you apply for it, the boss will say you’re handling personal matters.

You have to work overtime because you’re not capable enough.

The company’s official end time is 6 p.m., but the boss will be unhappy if you leave at 7.

If you leave work too late, the company will be fined, so you have to clock out first.

The boss will lose their temper on payday.

....

There are too many incidents to list.

An endless hell, waiting for you to come and suffer with us.
