Read the community guidelines1. You can bring pets to work

3. From time to time, the in-house senior colleagues cook lunch for everyone
4. Occasional trips to Miramar to watch movies
5. Occasional employee trips (Hawaii, Hokkaido, Macau, Palau)
6. Bonuses are available, and you can receive a decent bonus
7. Including bonuses and perfect-attendance pay, there is a chance to earn a decent salary (for an office position)
8. The company culture is fairly relaxed and free. Especially when your performance is good, you really can have a very comfortable time
9. The year-end party is held at Taipei 101, and employees have also been taken abroad for a year-end party at Wynn Palace in Macau
10. The company provides classes for employees (with the costs covered by the company)
1. You need to keep growing; otherwise, you will be eliminated quickly
2. KPIs are taken very seriously. If you do not handle pressure well, it is recommended that you do not apply
The colleagues are very nice.
There is a break room available for use.
The company computers may have monitoring software installed.
If you want to discuss company matters, please do not use the company computers.
Moreover, it is unclear what the company actually makes money from (there is not much information available, so it is difficult to know where the money comes from).
They constantly demand huge amounts of traffic, but use Douyin content (because they cannot obtain it otherwise).
They constantly threaten to dismiss employees at any time, and overtime is unpaid.
The supervisor says things like they have no money, and so on. As for the salary... well.
You do not learn much.
High turnover.
——Consider carefully——
1. You can bring pets to work
2. You can freely use the coffee machine and drinks
3. From time to time, the office’s big sister cooks lunch for everyone
4. Occasional trips to Miramar to watch movies
5. Occasional employee trips
6. If the boss values you, you will receive personal perks
7. Colleagues are easy to get along with
1. Your salary is underreported, so the government doesn’t know how much you earn and less tax is withheld, haha
2. The year-end bonus decreases every year, eventually becoming zero
3. If the boss doesn’t value you, don’t even dream of getting a raise
4. In reality, this company has hardly any systems or procedures; the boss mainly has the final say
5. Once the boss no longer values you, your personal perks may be canceled at any time
6. They call it perfect attendance, but taking menstrual leave means you lose it; this actually does not comply with the Labor Standards Act
‧Bonuses are available; when Facebook’s algorithm is favorable, working hard can earn you a decent bonus.
‧Including bonuses and perfect-attendance pay, there is a chance to earn a decent salary (for an office job).
‧The company culture is fairly relaxed. Especially when performance is good, you really can have a very comfortable time.
‧The company occasionally treats employees to movies.
‧You can bring pets to work.
‧Overseas employee trips.
‧No year-end bonus, holiday bonuses, or year-end party lucky draw.
‧The first workday after the New Year holiday is held on February 28; only those who attend receive a red envelope.
‧The company will tell you it is not a content farm website, but in practice it still pursues short-term gains and refuses to invest the cost required to build a brand. When performance is good, they say quality matters, but when you try to produce quality work, they tell you to focus on performance; when performance is poor, product quality and standards can both be disregarded. In reality, they simply prioritize money while refusing to admit it.
‧Many people got in through personal connections. Regardless of what those people do, it does not matter, and they do not need to worry about performance.
‧Employee turnover is very high, especially recently, with quite a few people resigning.
‧Because quite a few people have resigned, upper management has started asking people who were originally responsible for editorial work to do marketing as well. Their original workload remains unchanged, with no room for refusal or discussion of a pay increase, and they will even tell you that everyone should share all work equally.
‧During interviews, they will tell you that the company does not welcome overtime, but in practice supervisors particularly value those who are willing to “work hard and put in overtime” at the company.
‧Some coworkers’ character requires careful attention, especially for women.
A perfect-attendance bonus of 2,000 is considered high.
Most colleagues are really nice, but turnover is high, and almost all of them have left—except for those relatives and favorites who will never leave.
This company is a textbook case of “if you have connections, nothing is a problem.”
The work is actually fairly easy, and sometimes it feels like no one is managing anything at all.
But after a while, you start questioning your life because you really don’t learn anything.
Occasionally, we go to Miramar to watch movies—three times in one year.
At first, they said there would be a fully stocked snack cabinet, but later no one even knew where the cabinet was.
You can bring pets to work, but all the cute ones have left. The ones remaining now don’t really play with you, and some bite and bark randomly.
The salary is relatively high for fresh graduates, but there is no year-end bonus, no bonuses for the three major holidays, and no lucky draw at the year-end party.
When I first joined, HR said the company followed the Labor Standards Act, but in reality, menstrual leave is deducted from the perfect-attendance bonus, and there is no overtime pay.
Regardless of your actual salary, they report only the minimum wage, making you appear so poor to the government that you don’t have to pay taxes.
They value quantity over quality. You may still want to insist that you’re not writing content-farm articles, but the company operates as a content farm anyway. Eventually, you have to give up resisting and admit that you’re a farmer.
People with connections can always use articles from Chinese websites, convert them directly from Simplified to Traditional Chinese, and pass them off as content.
Work experience
The main goal is to find ways to drive traffic. There are fixed traffic KPIs to meet every day; the sooner you finish, the sooner you can do your own thing.
In any case, writing very attractive headlines to draw traffic and relying on viral marketing are what really matter.
Job skills
The company offers very little training. After working there for a month, you completely stop learning anything new.
For fresh graduates entering the workforce, it is a relatively easy and simple job, and it is very easy to build up your résumé.
Benefits
Every two or three months, we go to Miramar Entertainment Park’s cinema.
There is a coffee machine, and you can drink as much as you like.
Work experience
If you want to receive a high performance bonus, the KPI is basically impossible to meet.
As a result, the focus is on quantity rather than quality. There is little concern for brand building or cultivating the community.
It is difficult to feel a sense of accomplishment in the job, and employee turnover is high.
Job skills
If you want to build up your career record and learn various digital marketing skills, you can only rely on yourself.
The interviewers, as well as the future boss, managers, and employees, all seem like very nice people. The salary is also quite good. Unfortunately, I’m not very interested in the company’s products; otherwise, it really would be a great company.
The environment is a bit old. Other than that, there aren’t really any drawbacks.
There was water available during the interview
The interviewer was friendly
The products they make are very boring
The interview lacked differentiation
The company allows employees to bring pets to work, provided that their pets are well-behaved. There have been reports of owners not cleaning up after their pets or of pets being too noisy. One benefit is that the company’s bonus system is quite generous, although few employees manage to qualify for it.
1. Please consider carefully whether the high salary is accurately reported.
2. Performance must be monitored every day, including during holidays and weekends; if traffic declines, you will be called in for a discussion.
3. Some colleagues’ character... requires careful observation.
4. High turnover, yet the company is constantly recruiting new employees.
5. Limited learning opportunities.
