Pros

Free lunch, leaving work on time

Cons

The boss is the biggest problem, +1

There is absolutely no strategy or planning in management and marketing, and decisions are not data-driven. The only thing they know how to do is run Facebook ads and change the creatives. Employees learn nothing and have no decision-making authority or resources, yet they still get berated when performance is poor.

Pros

Free lunch is provided

Cons

1. The company does not have a comprehensive training program, and the heads of the various departments do not seem like managers—they do not know how to lead people (perhaps the turnover rate is high, so the managers were rushed into their positions). The training is disjointed, teaching whatever comes to mind, and what is taught is not professional...

2. The boss has low emotional intelligence, which often creates a high-pressure work environment. Instructions change from one moment to the next, and there is no sound decision-making.

There are sometimes significant gaps in logic between ideas during communication, and they do not listen to other people’s opinions, only raising their voice.

3. The turnover rate is extremely high, yet the company has never seriously confronted the issue; it only assumes that the problem lies with the employees.

4. Working here only means being exploited, without being able to build up skills or gain good work experience.

A good company should help its employees grow together, rather than only bringing them negative emotions.

I advise anyone who wants to accumulate experience or develop their career in a better place not to waste their time here.

Unless you have an extremely submissive nature, you will definitely regret joining!

No advantages

Cons

This company’s system is very strange. Even when a supervisor has already assigned a task and it has been completed, the general manager will come along and add to your workload, illogically asking you to do things unrelated to your job. After being there for a few days, I felt that this couldn’t continue, as things would become very chaotic in the future, so I resigned directly.

Can leave work on time

Lunch provided

Cons

After just a few days, I already wanted to leave. The supervisor here is a disaster. I had previously looked up reviews of the company, and they all mentioned how this supervisor left people speechless. After joining and seeing it firsthand, it makes me wonder whether there is something wrong with the company for continuing to keep her. She speaks very loudly, and you can immediately tell that she is very willful and lacks a sense of responsibility; her standards need considerable improvement. While teaching you, she may even accidentally blurt out profanities. Her instruction is also very disorganized and confusing. You can tell that she is someone with little substance who uses her voice to overpower others. Several days of my life were wasted.

Pros

Leaving work on time, and the company arranges lunch orders.

Cons

After working there for about a week, I already wanted to leave around the third or fourth day. At the beginning, I was assigned to write some reports, but after submitting them, there was no follow-up at all. No one internally trained new employees (and no one paid any attention to new employees either; everyone quietly went about their own work, and the atmosphere was not very good). Bringing it up was useless, and discussing it with the boss revealed a generation gap. After 9:30 a.m., employees are not allowed to eat breakfast in the office. There are no trash cans. You have to pretend to look busy. The boss always watches what employees are doing and tells employees to make calls using the internal line. Putting the receiver down loudly—is your hand broken? There is no optimized system internally, and they also love holding meetings. After I submitted my resignation, their attitude became very poor. For the colleague responsible for the handover, documents were practically thrown at me. I was truly speechless.

A colleague also said that after working there for only a few months, they had already seen many people resign. That should say enough. That's all~~~

Pros

1. Free lunch is provided at noon.

2. Unlimited coffee, milk, and tea bags are available.

3. You can often try out skincare products.

4. The colleagues are all easy to get along with.

5. Overtime is rarely required.

Cons

1. This was the worst workplace environment among all the companies I’ve worked for. Cockroaches appeared every now and then. Once, while I was writing at my desk, a cockroach suddenly came flying out of nowhere. It was extremely frightening...

2. There are no year-end parties or spring banquets, and team gatherings are extremely rare—it depends on whether the boss is in the mood.

3. Professional expertise is not respected; as long as you are submissive enough and willing to work, that is all that matters.

4. Meaningless meetings with no conclusions are held all the time, and there is still no follow-up after they end.

5. Decisions constantly change. Often, after working on something for a long time and nearly completing it, the boss will suddenly decide not to proceed because he is in a bad mood.

This leaves you spinning your wheels with no goals or direction, and eventually you start to doubt yourself.

6. The boss has poor emotional management and extremely low EQ. He often raises his voice at employees in the office and frequently makes sarcastic remarks and personal attacks.

This is the first time I have encountered a boss who calls employees idiots and says there is something wrong with their brains.

7. The company has a flat organizational structure, so everything has to be taken to the boss.

8. The boss’s way of speaking lacks logic. He often fails to explain things clearly, yet insists that he has said them many times and blames you for not understanding what he meant. Everything depends on whether he is in a good mood. When he dislikes you or is in a bad mood, you may be subjected to sarcastic remarks or even be asked, “Are you an idiot?” despite having done nothing wrong.

9. The company provides no training and only exploits your capabilities. There is also no one to learn from because the people above you cannot explain things clearly themselves.

10. The boss basically has no ideas of his own. He often tells you to think about it again, and even when you come up with something, if he does not like it, he still tells you to think about it again. The matter then keeps cycling endlessly through “think about it again.” When he is in a bad mood one day, he starts blaming you for making no progress.

This is simply a company with many shortcomings and problems. Personally, I feel that people who have ideas of their own usually would not want to stay for long,

because it is simply a waste of their youth and their life.

Pros

1. Lunch is provided; they order in boxed meals, with quite a few options.

2. Unlimited coffee, milk, and tea bags.

3. The salary should be considered quite good in the cosmetics industry. If you still want to join after reading this, be bold when stating your desired salary so you won't regret it after joining.

4. They are willing to give young people opportunities, so you don't have to worry about lacking experience. (No expertise or experience is required; you only need to know how to follow orders.)

5. The company location is convenient for transportation.

6. Female employees can frequently try out skincare products.

7. You clock in when arriving at work, but don't have to clock out when leaving. Overtime is not mandatory. (However, meetings may run until the end of the workday, or the work may simply be impossible to finish. Under the responsibility-based system, there is no overtime pay.)

8. There is some flexibility for arriving late.

9. There are occasional group dinners, perhaps two or three times a year, depending on the boss's mood.

10. The colleagues are easy to get along with.

Cons

1. The organization is flat. Everything, big or small, has to be run by the boss. No one can—or dares to—make decisions, even about the tiniest matters. Managers are merely figureheads: they have the title but no real authority, and are only invoked when their name is needed to pressure you. Regardless of your position, you report directly to the boss. When you ask a colleague or manager how something should be handled, the answer is often: “I don't know; you have to ask the boss.”

2. Decisions change from one day to the next. As mentioned above, you can't just ask once. If a matter will pass through A, B, and C, all three had better reconfirm it with him repeatedly before carrying it out, because he will keep changing his mind and then forget what he previously said, blaming the people who did the work. Also, he may make a different decision each time about the same matter. In short, ask him about everything before doing it. The company has no principles; whatever he says goes.

3. He has difficulty making decisions. He will keep asking employees to think about it more and look for more options, but even when given many choices, he still can't decide. Matters are always dragged out until the last minute, when there is no time left, before a decision is made. Yet everything has to wait for his decision, so many projects are either rushed into execution at the last minute (leading to many problems to deal with afterward) or abandoned altogether. (Then, after some time has passed, he will ask about the progress of the matter and say it has already been delayed for too long.)

4. Too few people, too much work. He thinks everyone has too much free time and keeps piling tasks onto you, but many of them ultimately aren't carried out—in short, you end up doing work for nothing. Capable employees are expected to do the work of N people, with your responsibilities expanding without limit. You are often assigned tasks outside your original job duties, and if you accept them (would you dare refuse when the boss tells you to do them?), that task ultimately becomes your responsibility. This also shows that he has no respect for professional expertise; as long as someone does the work, that's all that matters.

5. All talk, no action. He thinks everything is simple and can be finished quickly, and will keep asking whether you've completed something yet. If it still isn't done after he asks several times, he'll say you're not proactive enough, not working hard enough, too slow, always dragging things out, along with various sarcastic remarks.

6. Very difficult to communicate with. His logic when speaking is extremely poor, yet he blames you for not understanding what he means. He is also very poor at listening and will misunderstand what you mean. When he doesn't like you or is in a bad mood, he will make all kinds of unreasonable demands and pick on you; even if you haven't done anything wrong, he will find absurd issues to criticize you over.

7. Loves holding meetings with no conclusions. Meetings are a huge waste of time. Scheduled meetings are never punctual, and meetings never have a clear focus or conclusion. He speaks ambiguously and goes around in circles, leaving people unsure how to proceed.

8. No one trains you. There is no training, and no one teaches you many of the tasks. You don't learn anything and have to figure things out yourself. Because turnover is high, the office consists either of newcomers who are just as new as you or veteran employees who are so busy they can barely cope. The honeymoon period is fairly good for newcomers; there are no problems before you have had too much contact with him. But since everything has to be checked with him, it is impossible to avoid contact with him forever.

9. All kinds of grand promises—do not, under any circumstances, believe them.

10. Short-term and narrowly focused.

That's it: ten genuine advantages and ten genuine disadvantages. If you can't find another job and need money, you can give it a try.

Pros

The HR staff and the supervisor seemed very nice. The interview process was smooth and pleasant, and the job responsibilities were explained clearly. They also clearly explained why the previous employee left. The compensation was average, but the benefits seemed good. They seemed to have group meals fairly often, and lunch was free. The office was bright, but supervisors sat in the back where they could watch everyone.

Cons

I was still hesitating, but after reading the reviews…

Actually, you could already vaguely sense that something was off during the interview. For example, the supervisor was very impatient and spoke very quickly, so you could roughly tell what kind of supervisor they would be. During the interview, they kept saying there would be no overtime, but that remains to be seen. You could sense that the company had no rules and was prone to changing decisions from one day to the next. If you want to know more, you can go to an interview yourself, but you will probably get an idea of the situation I described. They clearly stated that there would be no opportunity for a raise, with bonuses being the only possibility.

Pros

You don't have to work yourself to death with overtime.

Lunch is provided, but you have to pretend to be busy here, so you can't take your lunch break on time.

Cons

There is no systematic planning; everything is decided based on the general manager's mood. A decision made today may be immediately overturned tomorrow, with you then being told to redo the work. There are one or two meetings every week. Meetings are normal, but they never result in any conclusions because the general manager has difficulty making decisions. If you present one proposal, the general manager will think it is not sufficient and ask you to go back and think about it some more. If you provide three proposals, they will be unable to choose and simply leave them aside. Then, a few days later, if they are in a bad mood, they will ask about your progress. Even if you have completed everything and are merely waiting for their final decision, they will think you have made no progress and start targeting and giving you a hard time.

It is very common for the company to spend anywhere from six months to a year discussing a decision without ever reaching a conclusion. You just keep going in circles without any goals or direction.

Here, from top to bottom, everyone has to pretend to be busy every minute and every second. If you look even slightly idle for a second, you will be condemned to endless misery!

Supervisors are incapable of taking responsibility. Everything has to go through the people above you for their signatures and approval, but when something goes wrong, those people will completely shirk responsibility. Every mistake is blamed on the people below them, and they will claim that they told you about things they never actually told you.

There are serious gaps in communication, and sometimes things are not communicated at all. In any case, when something goes wrong, the blame is pushed onto you!

Nothing is ever explained clearly. If you try to clarify things, you may even get yelled at. Even if you are told to use a particular method today, your superiors may yell at you tomorrow for doing it that way if they are in a bad mood. There is no planning or order whatsoever, and the mental pressure is constant every day and every second. No one will guide or teach you, and there is no one worth learning from.

I hope no one else wastes their time here. Youth passes only once and never returns!

Pros

Not having meetings that last until the end of time, being able to leave work on time at 18:30, and the company trip to Australia

(However, employees who have been with the company for less than two years must initially pay for the travel expenses themselves, which will be reimbursed once they reach the required tenure. The amount cannot be paid in installments through salary deductions: those with less than six months of service must pay 30,000 themselves; those with six months but less than one year must pay 20,000; and those with one year but less than two years must pay 10,000.)

Cons

During the interview, the HR representative and colleagues all made a very good impression. After joining, however, I found that the turnover rate was extremely high, and the senior colleague leading the same department had also not stayed for a full year. The division of work responsibilities was unclear, with no explicit explanation of the matters I was responsible for. I was also often expected to find my own value, and frequently had to attend review meetings. I was even verbally insulted and subjected to sarcastic remarks by the boss during a meeting. The lack of training often left me feeling lost.

I have tried to state this calmly and as politely as possible. I hope no one else will step on this landmine!

The most absurd workplace I have ever encountered in my life

The benefits and compensation provided aren't bad. Unfortunately, the manager is very moody and has extreme likes and dislikes. I've seen quite a few arguments and instances of people being berated in meetings = =....
