Pros

Today is not the time to talk about the pros. In any case, ever since the new Vice President took over, all the advantages have been erased, so there is really nothing to say.

Cons

What I want to talk about now is the company’s policies. If you work at Con-Ho, please listen carefully and join with others to fight for the rights you are entitled to.

First, I am writing this on February 15, 2021. Tomorrow is the last day of the Lunar New Year holiday. In the past, you were required to visit the Les Enphants Group to offer New Year greetings, but did you know that company-organized banquets, year-end parties, and New Year visits all count as working hours? You can take the initiative to claim this right—don’t let it fall asleep.

Second, don’t forget overtime pay for working on holidays, especially overtime pay for the Baby and Maternity Products Exhibition. Also, if the company asks you to clock out and then return to work, please take a photo when clocking out. When you finish the overtime work, be sure to record a video as evidence. Please make sure to tell the others that you are leaving work, and interact with them so there is evidence.

Gather all employees who have suffered losses in the past or present and testify for one another to claim this right. Don’t let yourselves be cheated out of a large sum of money and then just stand there foolishly. You must fight for your own rights.

As the saying goes, there is no such thing as a free lunch. Never let the company take advantage of you.

Also, don’t think of this as doing the company a favor. Given the attitude of the company’s management today,

they will only regard it as something you are supposed to do, and will even want it done as cheaply as possible, then exploit you relentlessly.

Those who want to stand up for themselves will then end up fighting alone, and they cannot beat the company’s legal team.

Over the past several years, quite a few people have taken this company to court and filed lawsuits against it. You should join them.

Fight for the rights you deserve. Think about what you work so hard for. I believe many of you do it for your families. Think about how much you could do with the money you are entitled to. Don’t back down—the former employees and your other colleagues will support you.

Also, to the several former employees who are still involved in litigation: keep going. We support you.

In addition, workers can apply to the Labor Bureau for subsidies for lawsuits against their company, and then go to the Legal Aid Foundation to ask a lawyer to assist with the case. You may not have to spend a single penny, so please seize this opportunity.

Let me briefly explain two things:

1. The nutritionist left without warning. I suspect they were “voluntarily resigned”—how pitiful. They can’t even receive severance pay or unemployment benefits.

2. This company was inspected by the labor authorities today. It looks like things are likely to end badly.

I believe anyone with eyes knows what choice to make, right?

Cons

The company has essentially become a cram school. Eight or nine out of ten employees leave after working for only a short time, most of them in less than three months.

Last year, the company changed chefs four times, including one five-star chef. Whenever the head chef changed, nearly the entire team of employees below them changed as well.

Apart from the drivers who operate the company’s delivery trucks, all logistics work is outsourced.

As for office and sales staff, almost all of the younger employees have left. The sales department in particular consists mostly of veteran salespeople.

So it is true that mothers feel the taste is different, because everyone has left.

The company is currently getting worse and worse. If you are really looking for a job, I suggest not applying to this company and looking for one with better prospects instead.

Cons

Bad-tempered and eccentric, with an attitude that often changes back and forth. They refuse to concede even when they are clearly in the wrong—and the “reason” they insist on is about as small as a peanut.

They have an outsider handling matters meant for professionals, to the point of being laughed at by those in the field. Even when they make a mistake, they absolutely refuse to admit it, insisting on calling something crooked straight.

They are extraordinarily stubborn. They will not learn genuinely correct, sound principles, and approaching relevant professional work with prejudice will not lead to good results.

Anyway, applicants should know exactly what I am talking about. For legal reasons, I cannot disclose more, lest I be sued and dragged into trouble.

Oh, right—this company violates labor laws in quite a few ways, and some of the violations are rather serious. Applicants, please exercise caution.

Finally, this company does not pay overtime. Don’t even dream about it. I think it is only a matter of time before someone is worked to exhaustion.

On the day of the interview, the supervisor said they were unavailable due to an unexpected matter, left the interviewee there to fill out forms,

そして had us call the supervisor ourselves,

Generally speaking, if something comes up, they should arrange another time, right? Their attitude was really poor.

Pros

There used to be some, but given the current situation... I can't think of any.

Cons

Perhaps because the long-term finances have consistently failed to balance, the boss has started rearranging things.

The older-generation managers say, “Here we go again,” as it seems that whenever there is a loss, the boss starts doing things according to their own wishes.

On top of that, the company's internal personnel situation has been very poor lately, and employee turnover is extremely high.

To be honest, everyone knows what is happening; they just don't want to talk about it.

Also, one department has been going from bad to worse since the new manager took over, while the people from the original department have been terribly pushed aside.

I feel a little sorry for them.

Pros

Although the kitchen is busy, the work is straightforward, and I get along well with everyone.

Cons

There are some bad apples in other departments who specialize in infighting and disrupting harmony within the company, and most of them are in management positions.

If you want to practice your emotional intelligence, you can work here, but I only recommend doing so short-term. Once you find a new job, it is better to leave as soon as possible,

unless you want to end up covered in wounds from being stabbed in the back.

I heard that senior managers do not want to deal with problems, so they simply leave things unattended. However, from my perspective, they are basically siding with the bad apples.

Quite a few people have been unable to tolerate this environment and have been resigning one after another. I am also preparing to leave.

Pros

As a subsidiary of Les Enphants, the compensation and benefits are naturally nothing to complain about. However, the company has an extremely high turnover rate. It is quite suitable as a transitional job while looking for your next position, but I would not recommend staying for the long term.

Cons

The company’s departments currently operate independently, and there is serious infighting. The conflict has become so severe that the company is nearly falling apart.

On top of that, the gap between departments is deeper than the Mariana Trench. They constantly undermine one another behind the scenes, while upper management does not actively intervene. Whenever results are poor, blame is immediately placed on the department involved rather than on the responsible individual, eventually leading to a situation where, whenever a manager is brought down, the entire department is eliminated.

As a frontline employee, your authority to execute decisions is almost entirely taken away by managers. When frontline employees offer opinions, if a manager considers them contrary to their own views, they are immediately suppressed or the content is deliberately distorted. As a result, the expected outcomes cannot be achieved, while upper management merely says that employees should be more forceful and never helps with communication.

The company only cares about whether it can make money in the short term and barely invests in building its brand reputation. Over time, this has led to a steady decline in customers. They then blame someone for not trying hard enough and pass the buck around, making the infighting even worse.

Upper management also engages in extensive infighting by relying on its power and influence, rather than fulfilling its role in running the company.

The final result is that all the experienced and capable people leave, while those with power continue to fight among themselves. The company is completely unable to unite.
