Today is not the time to talk about the pros. In any case, ever since the new Vice President took over, all the advantages have been erased, so there is really nothing to say.
What I want to talk about now is the company’s policies. If you work at Con-Ho, please listen carefully and join with others to fight for the rights you are entitled to.
First, I am writing this on February 15, 2021. Tomorrow is the last day of the Lunar New Year holiday. In the past, you were required to visit the Les Enphants Group to offer New Year greetings, but did you know that company-organized banquets, year-end parties, and New Year visits all count as working hours? You can take the initiative to claim this right—don’t let it fall asleep.
Second, don’t forget overtime pay for working on holidays, especially overtime pay for the Baby and Maternity Products Exhibition. Also, if the company asks you to clock out and then return to work, please take a photo when clocking out. When you finish the overtime work, be sure to record a video as evidence. Please make sure to tell the others that you are leaving work, and interact with them so there is evidence.
Gather all employees who have suffered losses in the past or present and testify for one another to claim this right. Don’t let yourselves be cheated out of a large sum of money and then just stand there foolishly. You must fight for your own rights.
As the saying goes, there is no such thing as a free lunch. Never let the company take advantage of you.
Also, don’t think of this as doing the company a favor. Given the attitude of the company’s management today,
they will only regard it as something you are supposed to do, and will even want it done as cheaply as possible, then exploit you relentlessly.
Those who want to stand up for themselves will then end up fighting alone, and they cannot beat the company’s legal team.
Over the past several years, quite a few people have taken this company to court and filed lawsuits against it. You should join them.
Fight for the rights you deserve. Think about what you work so hard for. I believe many of you do it for your families. Think about how much you could do with the money you are entitled to. Don’t back down—the former employees and your other colleagues will support you.
Also, to the several former employees who are still involved in litigation: keep going. We support you.
In addition, workers can apply to the Labor Bureau for subsidies for lawsuits against their company, and then go to the Legal Aid Foundation to ask a lawyer to assist with the case. You may not have to spend a single penny, so please seize this opportunity.
