Aside from the department manager being terrible, everything else is okay.

The shadow of being bullied in the workplace by my manager still hasn’t faded.

Instructions were unclear, and no comprehensive annual KPIs were established.

They took on a pile of clients with small budgets and high demands, leaving the team frantically busy for nothing.

They didn’t know how to manage subordinates and even used their authority to threaten people into obeying.

They engaged in all kinds of targeted behavior, applied double standards, and emotionally blackmailed people.

Unfortunately, I was foolish enough not to record it; otherwise, I really would have liked to sue them.

They can even get the most basic event date setting wrong, then laugh about their own mistake.

With a manager like this, the company can’t possibly make any money through them.

This company is only suitable for people with a strong willingness to submit to work there.

There are no advantages at all

A company with an absolutely terrible system keeps changing the rules over and over. They make it extremely difficult to report overtime, and you even have to stay an extra hour after your scheduled end time before you can report overtime?

The supervisor has no professional expertise in the field at all, yet is still allowed to lead the team?

They say they want to let the world see Taiwan—I can say nice-sounding things too.

The supervisors are constantly competing to see who is the most spineless and irresponsible. Whenever something seems to go wrong, they immediately throw a subordinate under the bus; but if a subordinate gets credit, they quickly take it away. Are they that afraid the boss will realize how useless the supervisors are?? For designers, what matters isn't design ability but how good they are at cultivating relationships with the supervisors. The supervisors then lead the formation of cliques, spreading rumors behind the backs of and sabotaging subordinates they dislike. It's like watching a middle-school bullying drama! I recommend this place to anyone who enjoys wasting their life, because they constantly hold a bunch of meaningless, extremely long meetings every day. Do they think no one realizes the supervisors have nothing to do, so they have to drag subordinates into wasting their lives too??????

The interview questions were terrible, the manager has hardly any experience, and the company’s technical capabilities are already falling behind the times. The most annoying part was the boss—I had to put on a polite smile for an hour while he went on and on about the past. They also want to use the low salaries in Taichung from back then to recruit people, only saying that salaries in Taipei and Taoyuan are just much higher. There is no guaranteed year-end bonus, only a bonus system. Take it with a grain of salt.

The company likes people who are sufficiently servile.

The company holds a book club once a week.

Before the book club, you have to submit a report on your reading reflections.

You have to arrive early for every session, and all employees in the company participate. It lasts about an hour, and people are randomly selected to go up and talk about their reading reflections. The books provided by the company are not books like *The Courage to Be Disliked* or anything particularly meaningful.

Instead, the entire book is basically about how you will succeed only if you work hard and love your work. It does not mention methods for improving work efficiency or anything useful for the job; it just tells you to work diligently until you neglect sleep and meals—even to the point of sleeping at the company—to achieve success.

I feel that writing reading reflections and attending the book club are not very meaningful. Once every two months would be acceptable, but once a week is too frequent and wastes time. All employees in the company have to participate, and taking professional courses would be more meaningful.

Engineers already cannot finish their projects, yet the company still arranges all this other stuff, wasting time.

In addition to the reading reflections, we also have to write a daily progress report,

listing things such as what you did that day, whether you completed them, and what you plan to do tomorrow. The company provides a report template for you to fill out.

The form also includes what you learned that day, what mistakes you made and how to improve, and reflections on your growth. Colleagues in some departments are required to fill out all of these sections. It is not as though you learn something new every day or make mistakes every day; writing all this is simply a waste of time and meaningless.
