Pros

You can drink coffee from different origins, but with this kind of work atmosphere, I’d rather spend money buying it outside...

Cons

1. The person handling both accounting and HR really should be replaced. She seems to be on another planet, speaks unclearly, and often shouts randomly in the office. Last time, she received NT$200,000 from a client and then forgot where she had put it. Most importantly, she is always blaming others for not doing things properly, when she is actually the one with the biggest problems?? And then the company’s senior management expects other colleagues to tolerate her? When calling the bank manager, her voice changes—maybe her throat itches; who knows what’s going on? She cannot accept criticism from others and will go complain like a little girl. After work, upper management threatens everyone through group chats?? Apparently, she is the only one in the world allowed to lose her temper, while no one else is. Her emotional management is a huge problem!

2. The company also has some strange colleagues who are always complaining about clients while continuing to serve difficult clients?? Apparently, they have the heaviest workload in the world and hope everyone will measure up to them, but their samples are also never finished roasting, so I find that pretty strange too. They even advocate working overtime without submitting overtime forms?? There is already no overtime pay; it has been changed to compensatory leave, and the company will force you to use your compensatory leave during unpaid leave^^Great! Their emotional management also needs improvement!

3. This is a company that cannot even properly pay the minimum wage. It is always as if we employees owe the company something. We were probably the only green-bean company this time to have unpaid leave. The company expects any extra leave you take to be deducted from the following month’s salary? If you do not raise the issue, is it really just deducted without any evidence? Overtime cannot be claimed as overtime pay, and when you submit an overtime form, upper management says, “I used to never dare to submit overtime forms”?

4. They previously argued with the woman who collects the garbage over a work-start red envelope and then fired her. They even shouted at her that we do not give our employees bonuses for the three major holidays either (please think carefully about whether you want to join this company). The person handling both accounting and HR searched online and still could not find a cheaper garbage collector. What a joke.

Conclusion: Please think twice before joining this company. I do not think you should make yourself suffer. Life is long, and there are other normal jobs. But if you want to experience scenes that you would see in a TV drama, you can join and watch the show!

The work itself is not difficult.

If you choose to keep a low profile and cooperate without raising questions, the environment is relatively stable.

For those who simply want to maintain a job, there is relatively little volatility.

Cons

During the interview, the job description is relatively simple. After actually joining, however, the scope of work continually expands over time, including extensive internal coordination, administrative processing, and ad hoc assignments that are not directly related to work results. The boundaries of the role are extremely unclear.

Here, those who are willing to take on more do not gain a clearer position; they are simply treated as though their extra effort is a matter of course.

The increase in workload is not accompanied by corresponding adjustments to the system or explanations regarding feedback and recognition.

The company’s evaluation of business results relies heavily on retrospective interpretation and subjective judgment, rather than clear standards that can be confirmed in advance.

Even when you complete the goals assigned to you, there remains considerable uncertainty over whether the results will be considered “valuable” and whether they will be fully recognized.

For people who are accustomed to assessing effort and returns through clear metrics, this creates intense psychological strain over time.

This is not an environment where you can “move forward with peace of mind simply by working hard”; it is a place where you need to continually adjust your expectations.

The management style is highly centralized, and decisions and standards clearly vary from person to person.

Senior management’s approach in meetings tends to be high-pressure. Employees who are not favored are often singled out directly through rejection and questioning, turning meetings into highly tense situations.

This mode of interaction can easily leave people in a long-term state of self-doubt and defensiveness, rather than focused on the work itself.

If you value basic workplace respect and constructive communication, this environment will leave you extremely exhausted.

What this job truly tests is not professional ability, but psychological resilience.

You need to be able to accept that:

· Evaluation standards may change at any time.

· Your efforts will not necessarily be acknowledged accurately.

· You may remain in a state of high uncertainty and constant scrutiny for a long time.

If you still have passion for your work and hope to build a sense of achievement within an organizational system, this place will continually drain you;

but if you do not have great ambitions, do not seek career advancement, and only want to maintain a stable presence, then you can indeed stay here.

Even after resigning, you will still need time to recover psychologically.

This is not because of a single incident, but because the cumulative impact of being in an environment where you are constantly rejected, questioned, and closely monitored can affect your sense of self-worth.

This is often something you only truly realize after leaving.

Most colleagues are easy to get along with, and there is no shortage of coffee.

Cons

1. The salary is not proportional to the work being done. You get paid the least while doing a great deal of work. Everyone takes on multiple roles while receiving a meager salary.

2. They tell employees to learn a wide range of skills, but they simply do not want to hire new employees.

3. The accounting department makes an unbearable amount of noise every day.

4. What do the senior managers even do every day?

If you think you are a capable person, go find a job that is truly right for you!

This place is suitable for people without much ambition and those who are fine with anything!

磨練吧...滿滿的磨練,天將降大任於斯人也,必先苦其心志,勞其筋骨,餓其體膚,空乏其身,行拂亂其所為。

Cons

I’ve been calm for more than half a year now, so I should be able to describe what happened to me fairly, impartially, and objectively. (Should I?)

1. The promises made by the parachuted-in general manager were worthless. Telling everyone to weather the difficulties together and endure the pains of the reform period was merely an excuse to cover up her inability to do things properly.

2. When I suggested the need to improve the systems, the parachuted-in general manager said that this was creating divisions between “you” and “me,” and that I was challenging her?

3. The accountant was incompetent, yet also the parachuted-in general manager’s lapdog, throwing her weight around under the protection of her authority. Their work ability was problematic—did even simple tasks require reminders from colleagues in other functions?

4. The work assignments made no sense. It had been agreed that a handover would take place so that each function’s duties could return to normal. The person taking over—aka the great accountant—used all kinds of sophistry to take leave during the handover period, dragging it out for three months, while the general manager still expected colleagues to be more understanding?

I was tormented and extremely anxious during that period. I cried myself to sleep and woke up crying. I didn’t want to live even when walking down the street. I remember watching myself from a third-person perspective, shambling around like a living corpse. I did something foolish and almost didn’t make it through. I took medication for a while. To be honest, more than half a year has passed, and these disgusting events have long since been sealed away in the dust. If I still remembered them and couldn’t let go, how could I go on living? I simply couldn’t endure the trials at Daliandjie. Mea culpa, mea culpa, my grievous fault.

Today, I sat down and thought carefully about how foolish I had once been. I had loved the company with all-or-nothing devotion, and I haven’t been able to shake off the goosebumps. The more I think about it, the more alarmed I become; the more I write, the more it hurts. It was never fair or impartial at all. Readers, take a look and have a laugh. If, after reading this, you still decide to accept an offer from this company, then you are truly very brave. Please accept my humble bow.

Einstein said that time is an illusion. Perhaps all of this was destined to happen. Please go ahead and waste your life.

Colleagues are easy to get along with

Cons

1. When reporting overtime, HR will say, “Are you sure you want to work overtime? No one else reports overtime.”

2. Some colleagues are very emotional and occasionally lose control and yell.

3. The company is very good at deducting sales employees’ pay. Bonuses are often not paid without any prior notice. Bonuses are not paid on time, and no reason is given. The interview information initially provided differs from the actual implementation, and the company will even say, “There’s nothing in writing.”

4. Many matters are handled behind the scenes. Personnel changes, new policies, and accounting application procedures, for example, are only learned through private conversations among colleagues. There is no system in place.

5. One employee is expected to do the work of several people, while the salary offered is ridiculously low.

6. The turnover rate is extremely high; more than half of the colleagues have been with the company for only one year...

Flexible working hours; colleagues are easy to get along with

Cons

To cut to the chase: Don’t come work for this company. There are many green bean companies, and of course some of the others are also terrible—ask around yourself. I’m just letting you know in advance that this green bean company is really terrible.

1. Low pay, few bonuses, extremely long working hours, and short lunch breaks. It’s rare to eat lunch at a normal time, and many colleagues have stomach problems.

2. The boss occasionally brings their dog to work, and it’s very noisy. The boss also has poor emotional intelligence and yells at employees almost every day.

3. The company’s cash flow is often not very normal, and departments other than Finance frequently have to find ways to raise money.

4. We often have to stop working midway and spend one to two hours listening to the boss talk nonsense, showing off bits of knowledge they think are very important but that can be found on Wikipedia (such as Pan Feng, a Three Kingdoms general; alkaline versus carbon-zinc batteries; Queen’s singing style; and *Rich Dad Poor Dad*).

5. There are no rules for personnel matters or expense reimbursements. Everything is decided by the mood of the supervisor who doubles as the accountant and HR manager—she is usually playing on her phone.

6. Although the company claims to offer flexible working hours, when the boss is in one of their moods, they will secretly check your clock-in records.

7. Each colleague earns approximately NT$30,000–33,000. The boss often says that a certain colleague earns a higher salary, so they should do more work—even though the difference is only NT$2,000–3,000. In addition, the boss likes to speak ill of colleagues behind their backs.

8. The boss likes to provoke competitors’ bosses on the company’s Facebook page. Two people in their forties or fifties attack each other all day long, becoming an industry joke for people to gossip about.

9. The turnover rate is extremely high. The colleagues are easy to get along with, but they are different every year. The colleagues who were there when I joined are mostly no longer the same as the current ones. A supplier once even mocked the company for changing purchasing staff so many times in two years that they didn’t know whom to contact.

10. There are around ten people in the company, and each person is made to cover the work of many others.
