Cons

There is no unified way of handling various matters or standard operating procedures. Whoever speaks first wins, administrative efficiency is lacking, and there is little communication between supervisors and employees. Matters are only announced via LINE, causing everyone to understand things differently and follow inconsistent practices. Asking questions leads to being scolded, so employees have to guess what their supervisors want; when something goes wrong, they are then subjected to blame and interrogation.

Staffing is always extremely tight, making it very difficult to take annual leave, request time off, or change shifts. In addition, veteran employees lack systematic training methods for newcomers; they teach casually and pass the buck to one another. New hires leave after only a few days, so there are always open positions.

Several surveillance cameras have been installed in the work environment to monitor employees’ every move at all times.

Working 12-hour shifts cultivates a strong sense of servility; after earning money, you end up spending it on doctors.

The equipment is terrible. License plate recognition is slow and inaccurate, often causing customers to be unable to leave smoothly after paying. Yet upper management does not improve it and only pays lip service; frontline employees are the ones who suffer.

Pros

The colleagues I encountered were all nice.

Cons

The employee turnover rate is extremely high, and the company does not examine the reasons. Almost everyone leaves after just a few months.

Pros

On-site administrator; the work is simple and they are extremely short-staffed. As long as you’re a person with functioning hands and feet, you should be able to get hired.

Cons

1. There is no SOP for new-hire training; they just teach you however they feel like it. Each veteran employee also does things differently, yet veterans earn the same salary as you and do not have a higher position. They still have the nerve to yell at people, which feels awful.

2. You need to patrol the parking lot. Management says you should patrol about once every two hours (which is practically impossible—seeing someone patrol three times a day is already impressive). If it’s a large lot, one round can take 30–60 minutes. If you’re the only person working, you’ll be exhausted, because whenever a customer has a problem, you have to rush back to the management office immediately. Management just gives orders while the people below run their legs off.

3. There is no break time during a 12-hour shift.

4. The machines are terrible and have problems all day, causing employees to constantly get yelled at.

5. The day and night shifts both pay only 23,800. Anything extra is just overtime pay. At this salary, you might as well work as a security guard at a residential community—it would be easier.

6. There are many locations, and they can send you wherever they want. Although the law stipulates that the company can decide on transfers within 30 kilometers without the employee’s consent, they don’t even ask or inform you at all. You have to check the schedule yourself to find out that you’ve been transferred. It feels awful!

Cons

Upper management has never considered addressing problems at their root (for example: a) the network system frequently malfunctions, often resulting in guest complaints; b) communication barriers caused by employees’ varying levels of competence, etc.). They take things out of context, play word games, and operate in a militarized manner, blaming employees based only on appearances. The work environment and organizational systems need improvement.
