Cons

The company has no promotion system whatsoever. “Promotion” simply means making you take on additional miscellaneous tasks for other departments.

For example: packaging in the baking department, helping find people, and other miscellaneous tasks. Sales performance is tied to the performance of the existing senior sales staff.

New sales staff have no performance results to speak of at all, and asking about it may even get you scolded. The performance bonuses are also pitifully low.

With all these unreasonable practices, this company effectively has no bonus system at all.

Even after putting in hard work with no return, you are still required by the boss to take on additional tasks.

You also cannot get a raise or claim overtime pay, and the company is constantly behind on payments for goods.

I don’t know whether it is a problem with the boss’s operations, but the company is continually losing money.

The sales department and other departments are being pressured to meet performance targets.

The accounting department has problems with its bookkeeping. Delaying employees’ salaries would be bad enough,

but the accounting department also refuses to provide the company’s annual profit-and-loss statement.

The accounting department is working with the boss to prevent employees from receiving their salaries.

They also do not provide bonuses. I recommend not coming to this company and wasting your time.

The year-end bonus and bonuses for the three major festivals listed on 104 are all fake.

There are absolutely no bonuses here! Because the company is losing money.

They use the performance we worked hard to earn to cover the company’s losses.

Cons

The company always finds some reason to refuse to pay bonuses. There are no bonuses for the three major holidays, year-end bonuses, or any other bonuses. When you meet the targets they set, they start scrutinizing and nitpicking in every possible way, magnifying minor issues and using subtle tactics to belittle your hard work, all to achieve the purpose of withholding your bonus. There is absolutely no promotion system or mechanism. They also pressure you to negotiate overtime as compensatory leave, and when they force you to work on holidays, they do not pay the overtime wages required by the government, instead similarly pressuring you to negotiate for compensatory leave.

The boss frequently loses emotional control. When problems arise, they only downplay the important issues, thinking that patting you on the head will be enough to placate and deceive you. Most incredibly, the person taking credit is not the supervisor but the boss themself.

We have repeatedly been told that salary payments will be delayed. Such delays not only disrupt our financial plans but also cause tremendous inconvenience and stress in our lives and families.

Secondly, the company keeps increasing our workload without providing corresponding compensation or adjustments.

Pros

There are no advantages, unless you want to gain workplace experience.

Cons

1. The company’s upper management changes its decisions repeatedly.

2. Whenever something happens, employees are blamed first.

3. Colleagues from other departments whose assistance is needed may not necessarily help you.

4. Upper management will not adopt the suggestions put forward, yet often asks employees to propose improvement plans.

5. There are no benefits; the benefits are extremely limited.

6. The pay is very low. It is only suitable for part-time work; as a full-time employee, you may earn even less than you would from part-time work.

7. One person is made to do the work of three, and must take on multiple responsibilities for other departments.

Pros

Normal working hours

Cons

The owner of this small company makes many problematic decisions. Departments constantly pass responsibilities around, and employees are often asked by the owner to do work belonging to other positions. The bonuses for the three major holidays and year-end are essentially nonexistent.

When the pandemic hit, the company not only put employees on unpaid leave but also fired the people who were relatively less busy, then required employees to take half the usual leave while taking on the workload of two people. It is also unclear what problems there are with the cash flow, as payments for purchased goods are repeatedly delayed.

Think carefully before joining this company.
