Pros

The company has been established for a long time and has its own R&D department, specializing in daily necessities and household products.

For product discussions and brainstorming, the boss develops ideas together with employees rather than simply assigning work to everyone. They work hard together, like a family.

Senior colleagues and the company are generally quite supportive of newcomers. You can ask questions when you have them, and there will definitely be opportunities to take on challenges as long as you are willing to speak up. It is suitable for people who want to learn new things or do not like monotonous work.

The performance bonus system is open and transparent. Once sales reach NT$1 million, the bonus increases by NT$4,000. Sales figures are displayed directly in the ERP system, so you can check them yourself every day.

After several years, all products have been designed by our own team and the company makes its own molds (which is quite rare). Everyone contributes ideas, resulting in original designs.

Products are supplied to major retail channels, including 7-ELEVEN, FamilyMart, and PX Mart.

The starting salary is higher than that of companies in the same industry in Taichung. Bonuses and gifts for the three major holidays are always provided.

Employee dinners (usually hotel buffets), as well as domestic and international travel.

Cons

Occasional overtime (but the boss does not encourage overtime. Basically, it is best to finish everyone's work and leave on time).

The work pace is fast, so you need to adjust your pace at any time to keep up with everyone.

Overall, there are basically not many disadvantages.

Update:

Taijia Trade Co., Ltd. is the same company as Jin He Xing International Co., Ltd.

1. Occasionally, there are company dinners (once every 3–6 months), paid for by the company.

2. The coworkers are generally easy to get along with. However, before a candidate has been selected for a position, coworkers tend to be more distant and are not very enthusiastic toward new employees.

3. There are company trips for employees who have been with the company for at least one year. The company pays for them, but there may not be a trip every year.

4. If your supervisor likes you, they will proactively give you a raise (provided that you work extremely hard, frequently work overtime, and perform well).

Cons

1. Overtime is frequent—almost every day—and there is no overtime pay. To the company, working overtime represents company culture and effort.

2. The boss's wife only values performance. She is often confused and gets things mixed up, then repeatedly berates people over the same issues every month.

3. Because the boss's wife is vegetarian, employees are not allowed to bring meat or other non-vegetarian food into the company and may only eat it outside.

4. The company's performance-based compensation system is opaque. Even with similar performance, someone generating millions in sales may receive only one or two thousand, while someone generating over a hundred thousand may receive ten or twenty thousand.

5. The company takes products from Taobao in mainland China, makes minor changes to the packaging and design, and sells them at double the profit.

6. New employees may be fired if they leave too punctually and are unwilling to cooperate with overtime work.

7. The supervisor is blinded and only notices employees who flatter them and cling to them, even though those employees lack ability.

8. The bonuses for the three major holidays are also unfair, apparently based entirely on the supervisor's preferences, ranging from 1,200 to 6,000.

9. Raises are also unfair. Based on the supervisor's preferences, some people have received several raises, while others never receive any.

10. The supervisor repeatedly changes what they say and may also pretend not to understand.

11. The supervisor likes to make grand promises, but in the end, all the benefits are taken by employees who cling to them.

12. Resources and bonuses are only given to employees who cling to the supervisor.

13. The supervisor does not want employees to become too friendly with one another.

14. The supervisor often goes out to handle personal matters and stays out past working hours. To sign documents, employees have to wait until the supervisor returns.

15. It is a one-person dictatorship; mentioning certain keywords will get you scolded.

16. The supervisor cannot separate public and private matters, and employees have to spend time handling assigned matters after work.

17. The company looks for people to monitor online reviews, and some reviews are fabricated.

Pros

1. Occasionally there are company dinners (once every 2–3 months); the company pays, and the food is pretty good.

2. There are always small snacks or cookies before the end of the workday.

3. The colleagues are fairly easy to get along with. However, before a position is confirmed, colleagues tend to be rather cold and do not act too warmly toward new employees.

4. There are company trips (after completing one year of service), paid for by the company.

5. If your supervisor likes you, they will proactively give you a raise (provided that you work very hard, frequently work overtime, and do your job well).

Cons

1. Overtime is frequent and unpaid. To the company, working overtime is considered a sign of company culture and dedication.

2. The owner’s wife places great importance on performance. She is often confused herself, gets tangled up in her thoughts, and berates people by repeatedly asking the same questions every month.

3. Because the owner’s wife is vegetarian, employees are not allowed to bring meat-containing food into the company and can only eat it outside.

4. The company’s performance-based reward system is not transparent. Even with the same type of performance, someone generating millions in sales may receive only one or two thousand, while someone generating a few hundred thousand may receive ten or twenty thousand.

5. They kept saying they would change the system to make performance transparent so everyone could see their own performance points, but in the end, nothing came of it.

6. They take products from Taobao in mainland China, make minor changes to the packaging and design, and sell them at double the profit.

7. New employees who leave too punctually or are unable to cooperate with overtime may be dismissed by the owner’s wife.

8. Supervisors are blinded and only notice employees who know how to curry favor despite lacking ability, while flattering and fawning.

9. Bonuses for the three major holidays are only given occasionally; at other times, gifts are usually provided instead.

10. The three-holiday bonuses are also unfairly distributed. They depend entirely on the supervisor’s preferences and range from 1,200 to 6,000.

11. Company trips require employees to use their own annual leave, which is not very fair and is not negotiable.

12. When you join, the salary offered is different from what was discussed in the interview, and the supervisor will pretend not to know anything about it.

13. Supervisors like to make grand promises, but in the end, all the benefits are taken by employees who curry favor with them.
