Pros

Interviewing for an administrative support position does not require a written test or an English interview

Cons

1. The information that must be filled out before the interview is like writing an essay question.

2. The interview process is conducted online. On the day of the first interview with HR, there was first an HR interview, followed by an interview with the department head. I thought it was over, but the next day HR called again and said that the HR manager wanted to conduct another interview. After the HR manager's interview, they said that there might be another interview depending on whether the secretary needed one... This was just a regular position—is it really necessary for three or four people to interview me?

In the end, I received a rejection letter. Fortunately, after hearing that the HR manager wanted to schedule another interview, I no longer wanted to go and had no expectations at all. It was simply a huge waste of the applicant's time.

3. After the applicant introduced themselves, the HR manager did not listen carefully and asked many questions about things that had just been mentioned...

This company's interview specialty is:

After the interview, they call you to say they want to hire you.

You need to discuss the details of the subsequent offer with HR.

After a long period of coordination,

the day after giving you an offer, they notify you that they have chosen someone else.

X Your company has wasted the interviewer's time.

A suggestion to all interviewees:

If you have other opportunities or offers, make sure they are secure first

before coming to interview at this company.

No, actually, don't even go to the interview.

This company has absolutely no respect for interviewees!

Pros

The interview lasted less than 30 minutes

Cons

I was interviewed simultaneously by the manager and HR, for a general engineer position.

1. They asked how many software engineers the company I currently work for has.

--> What the hell does that have to do with the interview?

I just gave them a random number, and they still asked whether it included the xx department.

Why are you so interested in knowing the detailed circumstances of the interviewee’s company?

2. They asked me to write down the company’s size and its revenue (business performance) growth over the past three years.

--> What do you want to know this for? Are you trying to gather intelligence? What the hell does this have to do with the interview?

3. What were you doing before working at xx?

--> I just said that. Was HR even listening?

4. It was obvious that HR only looked at the interviewee’s information on the day of the interview. They weren’t listening to anything I said. Unacceptable.

5. This interview felt like they were trying to learn about other companies. I was the interviewee, and they were the ones being interviewed.

Pros

No overtime except at the factory.

Cons

If you're a blank slate who wants to come here to gain experience and learn how to be exploited, then sure. But if you're hoping to move up or pursue other career development, forget it! The departments are very good at passing the buck—A pushes it to B, and B pushes it back to A. No overtime is the only advantage. What does giving out NT$1,000 in gift vouchers for each of the three major holidays even mean? The year-end bonus is fixed at one month’s salary for Lunar New Year, unless you negotiate otherwise. There are tons of old-timers at the factory. Production control always pushes tasks onto the front-end departments. The company culture and overall atmosphere are terrible. Just look at those old-timers who claim to be busy but spend all day smoking downstairs or on the rooftop—you’ll understand. Some back-office old-timers bully newcomers by relying on their seniority: they handle things when they feel like it and refuse to handle them when they don’t like you. Everyone, be careful not to be fooled by people who are very good at putting on an act during interviews.

Pros

None.

Cons

1. The holiday bonus and year-end bonus are both ridiculously small, as if they were just trying to brush us off.

2. Departmental infighting; the heads of every unit fight fiercely.

3. They do everything they can to cheat employees out of their money, and the benefits system is extremely poor.

4. Whatever you do, don’t enter the production department—it’s more miserable than being a dog.

5. There is excessive overtime every month; there have even been months with over 100 hours.
