Pros

It depends on the department. Getting into a certain department feels very reassuring and makes me happy, although the work pressure is high.

Cons

Endless overtime. No overtime pay.

Pros

Was the interviewer gentle in the way they spoke?

Cons

I went for an interview previously.

At first, they explained some background about the company and then asked me to answer some questions similar to brainteasers.

Finally, they asked about my salary expectations.

After hearing them, the interviewer said that my salary expectations were too high and hoped that I could think again about what my bottom line was.

After I answered again, they said: “I believe that, given your years of experience, you will keep running into obstacles regarding compensation during interviews.”

I was quite taken aback by that. Although years of experience are indeed important,

Honestly, other companies are willing to offer the salary I asked for (including other large companies).

If you want to join, it would be best to be prepared for the company to be rather stingy when it comes to compensation.

Although they were speaking frankly, honestly, discussing compensation this way was not very comfortable.

Pros

To begin with, this is the Worldibuy website within Wajam, and the department is headed by the eldest son.

The eldest son is a very nice and handsome person (that counts as a pro, right? XD)

Cons

1. Logistics and marketing for the department are completely controlled by the same supervisor.

2. As long as this supervisor takes a dislike to you, they have all kinds of strange ways to obstruct you, whether it’s a long hour of seemingly well-intentioned persuasion or directly confronting you in a meeting. But when they realize they can’t argue with you, they become flustered and incoherent.

3. Employees favored by this supervisor can shift responsibility in all sorts of ways. As a PM, one of them can’t even provide the products scheduled for release, yet the supervisor will still speak up for them in meetings, saying things like they’re too busy to organize it. Are the other PMs not busy too? They have the lightest workload and still have plenty of time to eat snacks—what exactly are they busy with?

4. Endless overtime. As long as this supervisor is displeased with you, they will schedule a meeting before you get off work to change something that is supposed to go live tomorrow. They don’t care about the meeting conclusions either; they change things however they please.

Pros

The interviewer for the SPEXESHOP consolidation and forwarding service was a sunny, smiling man who was very patient! He introduced the company’s various business areas one by one, starting from the beginning, allowing me to feel his sincerity. I hope to have the opportunity to join this big family!

Cons

Nothing observed so far

Pros

Maybe only the receptionist was very kind.

Cons

The interviewer acted like a princess and said she was the department manager, not HR.

After asking me to come in, she said, “You don’t have relevant experience; would you like to switch to HR?” Didn’t she see whether I had experience before inviting me? A complete waste of time.

Pros

Friendly colleagues

Cons

I previously worked at the young master’s SPEX eSHOP (Cheng Yue).

First, let me talk about the workplace environment.

The person you need to pay the most attention to there is the “princess manager.”

(P.S. She went from assistant to deputy manager within a year—what is commonly known as a parachuted-in manager.)

You could say that SPEX eSHOP operates according to the princess manager’s mood.

Her way of speaking could be described as extremely unpleasant, and she would even personally attack employees.

When the princess was in a bad mood or had a bad temper, she would take it out on colleagues.

The reasons could be anything from walking too loudly and having a small piece of paper beside your seat to making a typo in your copy—any of these could become the main reason for her outburst.

Even ordering lunch depended on her mood: you had to order what she wanted to eat, and everyone had to eat with her too.

Otherwise, she would get angry and hold a grudge.

Once you offended her, she would find fault with every one of your marketing proposals and make things difficult for you at work.

Regarding the work itself:

The marketing approach was far too conservative, the thinking was too old-fashioned, and there was no willingness to innovate.

The princess only looked for typos, while the young master only talked about old-fashioned marketing models.

They were afraid to spend money on innovation,

ultimately wearing out the marketing specialists, driving designers away, forcing excellent marketing managers to leave, and then complaining that performance was poor.

Regarding company policies:

The rule was that you had to clock in before working overtime. If you left work on time, the princess would assume you had too much free time and increase your workload.

BTW, if the princess had not left work yet and you left first, she would get really angry.

Main reason for leaving:

The reason I left was that I was “forced” to sign a resignation agreement.

The princess had disliked me and wanted to make things difficult for me for a long time.

Finally, one day, I made a typo in my social media copy, and she forced me to sign the resignation agreement.

(Of course, the coercion also involved humiliating me and personally attacking me.)

After I left, quite a few colleagues had also been forced to resign.

The reasons she gave for dismissing people were bizarre and varied; she simply wanted to get rid of them.

The above is my own personal experience. If anything sounds similar, it is definitely a coincidence (?

Please remember this!

The princess’s sense of authority was extremely strong, and her EQ was very low. She could make any decision without going through the young master.

Under no circumstances should you work for this company—you will regret it for the rest of your life.

Pros

Pros

At first, everyone was very nice and friendly during the interview.

They were concerned that job applicants might be unable to submit proof of land value tax payment, so they repeatedly asked whether this would be acceptable.

Cons

1. The majority of employees are women (rather frightening; if you say one thing wrong, they immediately spread what you said).

2. Most of the people there are department heads and deputy managers, so it is unclear who is actually the supervising manager.

3. There is no clear promotion system. Despite being a small company, employees are required to behave exactly like their supervisors in every way.

During the first week, when you are just starting to become familiar with the work, if you do anything differently, you are immediately harshly criticized and berated. The turnover rate is clearly high.

Thoughts:

Job applicants usually find after officially starting work following the interview that the reality is noticeably different from their initial impression.

Fridays are usually overtime days. When the workload is reported as high, there is no overtime pay, only compensatory leave (which is not guaranteed).

After joining, I discovered within a month that new employees could not stay, and aside from the supervisors' poor attitudes, the work atmosphere was also unfavorable.

Pros

The interview begins with a logic and reasoning test, and ends with questions related to the company, so you should definitely check the official website.

If you are fortunate enough to pass the first interview, the second stage involves spending a day accompanying an administrative assistant to learn and observe, understand the processes, and assess whether the position is a good fit for you.

Cons

It seems that overtime is common, especially on Fridays or before long holidays, when things are definitely extremely busy.

During the interview, I felt that the atmosphere on-site was somewhat oppressive.

None

Cons

One week of unpaid pre-employment training

You must submit a police clearance certificate upon reporting for duty, similar to a property deed.

You cannot work if you do not submit it.

Pros

A very flat organizational structure that appears harmonious

After working for a year, you may receive a raise ranging from 0 to 1,000

You may be “warmly greeted” by LINE messages on holidays

Cons

There is no clear promotion system

(Those who know how to get things done but do not know how to claim credit receive no reasonable rewards, because the company has no system.)

Promotions and similar increases in workload also require frequent overtime (A 1,000-dollar raise—how wonderful.)

Comments agreeing with the points above:

The uniform looks great, but unfortunately, you have to pay for it; it will be returned after completing two years.

Starting work too late at [1000]; if you’re lucky, you can leave at [1800], provided you finish all your assigned tasks.

They like to blame this and that. When problems keep occurring, they only scrutinize people, not the issues or the system.
