Severe nepotism; victims suffer in silence, unable to voice their grievances. The company uses the livelihoods of disadvantaged families to pressure and deceive them into settling.

1. The interview was very disrespectful to the candidate. There was only an interview with HR, while the hiring manager stood me up.
The company said that HR had been fully authorized to conduct the interview.
This was the first time I had interviewed without speaking with the hiring manager. This was a relatively senior position,
so it felt as though the company did not take the role very seriously, had already found someone, or was simply going through the motions.
2. The form required extremely detailed information about the names and job responsibilities of your supervisor, your supervisor’s supervisor, and your subordinate colleagues.
The compensation structure had to include base salary, meal allowance, other allowances, overtime pay, overtime rates, bonuses, profit sharing,
quarterly bonuses, the date and amount of your last promotion-related salary adjustment, last year’s annual salary, and the annual salary from the year before last.
You also had to clearly state deductions for meals, transportation, and accommodation, as well as provide a detailed explanation of all benefits offered.
Overall, it felt like they were conducting a background investigation into every company you had worked for.
It was a listed semiconductor packaging and testing company, but it was a very unpleasant interview experience.

The interview did not show respect for the candidate, and it felt like the HR department lacked the proper procedures and processes for conducting interviews.

Went to the interview and took an English test first.
They directly told me to go to a conference-room-like place, where there were just two laptops set up
for taking the test.
Overall, the English test was not very difficult,
but it was completely chaotic.... The questions changed extremely quickly, and they only gave you 5 seconds to answer each one.
That basically forced people to just choose an answer at random and move on to the next question!!
After the interview, I still felt that I had a chance of being hired.
But after waiting a few days, I couldn't wait any longer,
so I directly wrote an email asking whether I had been hired.
In the end, they sent me a rejection letter.
Damn it!! If I wasn't hired, they could have told me earlier.
They even made applicants ask before giving an answer.
Otherwise, I don't think they would have bothered sending even a rejection letter!!
What a terrible company.

Clocking in for work, responsibility after work

During the interview, I scored over 700 on the English test, and HR actually said it was the highest score they had ever seen (which says something about the company's overall level...). In the end, they said they were going to hire me, but when I asked about the salary, they bluntly said that Sigurd operates on a clock-in system for starting work and a responsibility system for leaving work. Speechless. I immediately rejected this lousy company. Finally, I asked about the salary, and it was only NT$27,000.... The chubby HR lady even had the nerve to say that she was proud of Sigurd. It made me laugh to death—she's a total corporate slave.
A sweatshop like KYEC, even smuggling in KYEC’s exploitative labor practices and further refining them; although there are no obvious violations of the Labor Standards Act, it operates right on the edge of the gray area; extensively and skillfully exploits cooperative-education students and alternative service personnel, with the sales department as its focus; the performance evaluation system is complicated and impractical; managers are too self-important (unable to empathize with their subordinates).
The workload pressure is manageable, and the value for money compared with the new water area is good.
