1. The interview was very disrespectful to the candidate. There was only an interview with HR, while the hiring manager stood me up.
The company said that HR had been fully authorized to conduct the interview.
This was the first time I had interviewed without speaking with the hiring manager. This was a relatively senior position,
so it felt as though the company did not take the role very seriously, had already found someone, or was simply going through the motions.
2. The form required extremely detailed information about the names and job responsibilities of your supervisor, your supervisor’s supervisor, and your subordinate colleagues.
The compensation structure had to include base salary, meal allowance, other allowances, overtime pay, overtime rates, bonuses, profit sharing,
quarterly bonuses, the date and amount of your last promotion-related salary adjustment, last year’s annual salary, and the annual salary from the year before last.
You also had to clearly state deductions for meals, transportation, and accommodation, as well as provide a detailed explanation of all benefits offered.
Overall, it felt like they were conducting a background investigation into every company you had worked for.
It was a listed semiconductor packaging and testing company, but it was a very unpleasant interview experience.
