Pros

Paychecks are issued on time; that’s about it.

Cons

It’s different from what was said during the interview: overtime cannot be claimed for pay, and you’re required to take compensatory leave instead. Typhoon days off are unpaid (you’re expected to use overtime converted into compensatory leave to calculate the payment).

If you’re thinking of joining, think it through carefully and read more reviews. There are good ones as well as bad ones, but there’s a reason the turnover rate is high. A manager in a certain division worked there for several years without retaining anyone.

An engineer in a certain division was laid off. This happened after the manager instructed them to complete all the tasks that had not been done over several years at once; only then were they notified of the layoff.

They even asked a manager from another department to deliver the news, saying that the company considered you unsuitable for the role and was letting you go. It’s hard to understand how someone deemed unsuitable could still be asked to go to a client site and carry out tasks independently.

Before notifying you of the layoff, they did not discuss whether you were unsuitable for the role and simply told you to leave. After delivering the notice, the manager disappeared completely.

All of the above was something I dreamed about. If anything sounds similar, I don’t know whether it’s merely a coincidence.

I advise everyone to read more reviews; it’s a good idea.

The salary is slightly above the median—probably the only advantage.

Cons

You can't claim overtime pay. No attendance on typhoon days, no heart.

I sincerely advise anyone thinking of joining to really think it through and read the reviews. There’s a reason the turnover rate is so high.

Recently, I had a dream that engineers in a certain department were laid off.

It was a decision made by the manager, but the manager didn’t dare to announce it.

Instead, before the layoffs, they told a member to finish tasks that hadn’t been worked on for more than two or three years.

Then they asked another manager to notify them of the layoff after the work was completed. (That manager apparently didn’t know where to hide and simply pretended not to see the messages on LINE.)

As you might expect, there was no specific reason at all. They simply kicked the person out with the excuse that the company deemed them unsuitable. (Unsuitable, yet still asked the member to carry out the tasks themselves.)

Then I woke up. I don’t know what happened afterward. If this sounds familiar, it’s definitely not a coincidence.

In short, choose your company carefully.

Oh, and one more thing: don’t trust everything your manager says. If it isn’t written down, they won’t take responsibility for it anyway~~

Paychecks are issued on time

Cons

1. No overtime pay, unless the workload suddenly doubles, in which case you may apply for double pay

2. During the interview, they said there would be a salary increase after the probationary period, but that never happened

Pros

1. The company pays salaries on time

2. There is always a bonus for the three major holidays

3. There is food for religious ceremonies

4. There is air conditioning

Cons

All the disadvantages you can think of in a traditional family business are here:

The young boss has eyes on the top of his head

The old chairman is busy doing charity to whitewash the bribery scandal involving Zhongrong

The various regional managers are incompetent and incapable

The little game of passing the buck among colleagues

The assistant Lao Cheng's high-handed manner

The engineering team's incompetence means people are replaced as frequently as flowing water

The newly arrived product specialists are even more like product specialists than the sales team

HR always needs to be taught the Labor Standards Act

This... going public??? Forget it!

Pros

None

Cons

Engineers are paid 1,000 for one day of holiday duty, but each person also has to take turns covering a 24-hour, nationwide toll-free repair hotline for a week, and there is no compensation for this.

I thought that since the review from three years ago was so long ago, things should have changed..... Currently, only clocking in and out has a 10-minute grace period; everything else is exactly the same.

The engineering department manager is eager to achieve perfection but is very impatient, hoping that everyone will engage in self-directed learning like he does. There is one senior employee, but they are probably close to retirement. The manager has two years of seniority. The other engineers have an extremely high turnover rate.

If you can accept the manager's EQ, the little boss's egocentrism, and the company's low pay and heavy workload, then you are the rare talent they need!!

Pros

None

Cons

A terrible company

Looks like it has some scale

But in reality, it is inefficient, and its methods are outdated

Its inventory management system still uses DOS

What era is this?!

They say they will implement an ERP system, but there has been no progress for a long time

They tell other companies in the same industry that Pao Chi Sheng is about to go public and be listed~

An empty promise~

A welfare fund is deducted every month

But nothing is actually given back to the employees

The listing on 104 makes it sound very good~ all kinds of benefits

But in reality.............

Every colleague's salary is extremely low!!

Don't think that no one discusses it!

Job postings on 104 are now required to state the compensation

The salaries are already listed there for reference

They give a range, for example, 25000-37000

But in the actual interview, it is simply 25000

Pros

The work is easy. Most people at the company are busy pretending to be busy, and the things they do are very inefficient, at about the level of student workers. In front of the higher-ups, you just need to put on an act, talk your way through things, and push them off onto others. Simple tasks are difficult to complete, while genuinely difficult work does not need to be done. It is a place with no work pressure but plenty of pressure from office politics. People who like slacking off, gossiping, and being lazy would be suited to this place. You can secure a place here without relying on ability.

Cons

The company lacks normal people, so communication is impossible. Those who have stayed for a long time all have strange personalities and tempers and are narrow-minded. Working here is unhappy, your abilities do not grow, and your salary does not change.

Pros

1. Salary is paid on the 5th of each month, or earlier if it falls on a holiday. Bonuses are provided for the three major festivals (NT$1,200 + two plain zongzi for the Dragon Boat Festival, and NT$2,000 for the Mid-Autumn Festival).

2. The company is well-established, has many affiliated companies, and is considered well-known in the industry.

Cons

1. The salary is relatively low. Although the company is fairly large, its benefits are very poor. During my several years of employment, a welfare fee was deducted every month, but there was only one employee trip: a two-day, one-night domestic trip (Saturday and Sunday), held together with the year-end party. Employees with 20 years of service were fully subsidized for a trip to Hong Kong (the only time this happened, about eight years ago).

2. The workload is heavy and the time pressure is intense. Matters are busy, and the manager of the Administration Department is very emotional. You also have to guess what management wants, making the work mentally and physically exhausting. There is no overtime pay. When they see everyone leaving work on time, they mutter that everyone has been very idle lately.

3. The operating system is DOS, resulting in very poor work efficiency and twice the effort for half the results.

4. Employees are forced to perform at the year-end party as entertainment, and some employees must also serve as staff. There is basically no seating arrangement. The annual event meant to reward employees ends up entertaining the boss instead; for two years, the boss's children drew the grand prize.

5. There is not necessarily a salary adjustment every year, although during the interview they said there would be an annual salary increase and a 14-month year-end payment, which differs from reality.
