Pros

Other than the toilets being decent to use and the lunchbox vendor downstairs being very kind, nothing else.

Cons

The company has no comprehensive training system or management structure.

Newcomers all start out as sales assistants.

On the surface, everyone is treated equally, but sales assignments are freely allocated. If you are assigned to a good salesperson, things go smoothly: you learn a lot, do a lot, and if you work hard, you also get plenty of results.

If you are assigned to a terrible salesperson, they will only take you to work and play video games, borrow money without paying it back, tell you to Google the answers when you ask questions, or generously tell you that they do not know—sometimes even teaching you a load of nonsense and wasting your life.

Most of this company's products are cheap package tours. They generally involve low-cost airlines, poor meals and accommodations, shopping tours, and a huge number of optional expenses (two small snacks and a bicycle cost NT$3,900). P.S. I could rent a scooter and ride to eat at Chamonix for less than that. There are also other optional expenses locally. Under these circumstances, these tours display very attractive prices to lure uninformed customers.

Of course... we are salespeople, so we do need good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, etc., to sell products for the company. But selling these products genuinely makes me feel guilty. We receive customer complaints all day long. Traveling abroad has become commonplace nowadays—where are all those contented grandpas and grandmas who would casually give a thumbs-up and approve of this?

There are salespeople who can sell products of this caliber extremely well (they really are very capable), but more often, people use cheap prices without informing customers of the risks of joining the tour to deceive uninformed clients, or they happen to get lucky and attract high-quality customers joining the company's tour for the first time. Otherwise...呵呵!!! There is internal favoritism and behind-the-scenes manipulation; those who know how to curry favor naturally climb higher, sit more securely, and live more comfortably.

The company has to participate in every travel expo in northern, central, and southern Taiwan. At expos in central and southern Taiwan, they are even reluctant to charter buses. Sometimes there are too many people, and hardworking employees have to pay their own transportation costs to get there (truly outstanding). At the expo, a bunch of people in pink shirts use a human-wave tactic to surround customers. Many customers say it is very uncomfortable. And why is there a curly-haired person dancing at the counter?

There is even information circulating internally that the boss's wife is truly a “talent.” Her rules include: no office romances; coworkers must not become too close, whether they are men and women or groups of men and women (because she has homosexual friends); coworkers may not give each other rides; employees may not become too close to former employees; and, at travel expos, she even mocks employees of other travel agencies for earning only a little over NT$30,000.

The company also requires employees to go online and manipulate its reviews (I heard they raised the rating from two stars to four stars).

When the company's “oil tankers” cannot be sold out, employees are told to buy them and take the trips themselves.

The bonus system keeps changing, and they still pay in cash? What is going on? Tax evasion?

Many young people who have just entered the workforce may be short on money. At this company, you have to bring your own computer, stationery, and even plain and scrap paper (there is constantly a pile of things to photocopy—boss, are you an environmentalist, or just too stingy? I don't understand).

They say everyone makes money together!! Yeah, at most I get 33%, while the boss gets 67%+++++

When there is trouble: salespeople are expected to have the ability to solve problems. Put bluntly, it means you are left to die on your own. A company does not even have a legal department.

👎🏽👎🏼👎🏻 That boss couple, Chairman Ai and General Manager Wang—their arrogant and conceited attitude is so nauseating that just looking at them makes you want to throw up. They look down on people and treat employees like servants. It’s tough for the employees. 🔥🔥👺👎🏽👎🏼👎🏻

A travel company operating like a direct-sales business.

Before starting work, you must provide your own laptop, tablet, business cards, stationery, and blank paper (conservatively estimated at an initial cost of NT$20,000–30,000).

Postage for items sent to customers, as well as accommodation and transportation expenses for travel fairs, must also be paid out of your own pocket.

There is absolutely no protection for employees. You may be directly told to leave because you took leave at an inconvenient time or made an even more minor mistake.

The company has no legal or human resources department, providing employees with very little protection; whether you stay or leave depends on the supervisor’s mood.

Most employees who are asked to resign simply leave quietly without receiving the severance pay they are entitled to.

Even when you resign, you may be suddenly told, “Come in tomorrow to hand over your work,” without being given any notice or time to look for another job.

This completely violates the requirements of the Labor Standards Act!

Once you join, they brainwash you incessantly, insisting that you must work at travel fairs to generate sales, but all expenses for attending the fairs must be paid by employees themselves.

Everything from transportation and accommodation to other costs is paid out of your pocket; before you have earned any money or received any bonuses, you have already spent a great deal.

This provides very little protection for fresh graduates without a financial foundation!!

Pros

The only advantage is that the salary is paid very quickly.

There are absolutely no other advantages; you will only feel like you are wasting your life.

Cons

From beginning to end, it is simply one big scam (short working hours, with sales targets that are easy to achieve).

The interview presents only a very one-sided picture.

On the first day at the company, they throw some materials at you and tell you to read them on your own—you are treated like a piece of wood.

On the second day, your colleagues start trying to sell things to you.

On the third day, they spend 15 minutes explaining a contract full of gray areas, then tell you to read it yourself.

After a few days, you are sent to a travel fair and told to produce results.

Everyone is extremely snobbish (but they will not say it outright).

Moreover, most of them use deceptive methods to get customers to pay.

Naturally, there are so many customer complaint calls every day that they cannot be counted.

The strangest thing is that everyone considers this perfectly normal.

If an itinerary cannot be sold out, the sales staff have to absorb the loss themselves.

It is similar to a direct-selling scheme: if you get an interview, you will be hired.

You go to several travel fairs every month (you pay for your own food and accommodation each time; the company provides no subsidy).

And they only give you one day off in compensation.

The company atmosphere is very much like the competition among insurance salespeople.

You get the impression that managers value money more than people.

You should be prepared to be publicly humiliated.

Most outrageously, the hidden costs are higher than you can imagine.

Anything you think you would use for work, this company will not provide:

computers, tablets, transportation reimbursements—even the postage for mailing documents has to be paid upfront by you.

The so-called “super salespeople” treat customers and colleagues like disposable utensils: once they have used them, they throw them away.

As soon as they receive the money, their attitude changes 180 degrees.

Oh, and any sales results not completed this month carry over into the next month, continuing the descent into hell.

Young shopping bags with ambition and drive are welcome to join the ranks.

The company is located in a high-end commercial office building.

Cons

The Taichung branch is located in a high-end commercial office building, but I was completely shocked when I entered the office.

The decor was extremely shabby, and even the interviewers were very perfunctory.

After a brief self-introduction, they began explaining the salary structure. After hearing it, I can only say that the previous contributors shared their experiences selflessly.

You start as a sales assistant, with a base salary of 25K plus a 0.2 bonus. If you are promoted to a sales position, it becomes 30K plus a 0.6 bonus.

There are no bonuses for the three traditional festivals and no year-end bonus.

You are sent to trade shows constantly. Whether you can go to a trade show also depends on the boss's wife's mood.

As for how to develop business, they did not explain. But it felt like they just brought you in, gave you a glass of water, and left the rest to you—good luck and hope for the best.

Pros

The colleagues are nice.

Cons

The base salary is 25K, and you have to generate more than 25K in sales to earn a 6% commission

No year-end bonus

You have to provide your own laptop

When you need to print promotional flyers, they even say you can't print too many because of the paper

You also have to pay for your own business cards

There is basically nothing you need

Once you join, no one really trains you, so you have to figure things out on your own

Pros

Among colleagues, but being assigned to the right group means heaven, while being assigned to the wrong group means hell.

Cons

The company’s policies are seriously problematic.

First, you have to provide your own laptop and iPad.

Then, business cards cost NT$60 per box.

A pack of the company’s photocopy paper costs NT$40 or NT$60.

You have to pay for that yourself too!

The system is essentially a pyramid scheme.

Direct selling.

There is practically no training.

It is true that the travel industry takes a very high percentage.

Sales assistants: 6%.

Sales staff have a base salary of NT$30,000 and receive 33% of performance bonuses.

The chairman’s husband

The general manager’s wife

You have to please upper management to have a chance of being assigned to exhibitions.

The boss clearly plays favorites; whoever they like gets special treatment for that group.

So getting into a good group is very important.

The company also has one rule:

Office romances are prohibited (they have already gotten rid of many couples).

The managers of every division are informers.

In any case, you cannot trust the heads of this company.

There is also a ban on forming close relationships with other groups (being too friendly with other groups).

The most outrageous thing is that bonuses are paid once every three months.

They used to be paid once a month.

Now the boss’s wife is acting like an idiot

and running a cosmetics business as a side job.

There is no clocking in or out.

They make it sound nice by saying there is leave for travel expos.

If you want to get paid, you can—but then they will not let you work at the exhibition (they put it very bluntly and pressure employees to sign a written waiver).

In short, it is a company that exploits loopholes in the law.

It is not unusual for 10–20 employees to leave in a month.

That’s all.

Pros

With no experience, the base salary is NT$25,000–27,000. During the first six months, you work as a sales assistant, learning administrative operations such as issuing tickets, while also being responsible for meeting performance targets.

(Your starting salary is your required quota.) The bonus is 0.06%. If you do not meet the target for the month, the remaining quota is carried over to the following month.

After six months, you transfer to a sales position with a base salary of NT$30,000 and a monthly quota of NT$100,000. Once you meet the performance threshold (apparently NT$160,000), the commission rate is 33%; above NT$300,000, the rate is even higher. If you do not meet the target for the month, the remaining quota is likewise carried over to the following month.

The company will move from Songjiang Road to Section 1 of Neihu Road on June 25. There is no clock-in system; performance is the main focus.

Basically, working hours are still 10:00–17:00.

There will be at least one travel fair to attend each month. If you go on a holiday, you will receive compensatory time off.

Cons

1. They did not explain where the performance figures come from or how they are calculated during the first six months as a sales assistant.

2. After transferring to sales, individual performance is still calculated rather than dividing people into teams. There is also no separation between domestic and international routes or group and individual travelers. Looking around, there are approximately 50 or 60 salespeople, so it is easy to imagine the hidden rivalries and internal competition.

Most of the reviews found on Google concern problems with tour guides leading groups, so I remain reserved about this position.

The office is crowded with many people, and it feels like a low base salary with high bonuses.

The interview process actually didn’t cover much.

First, I introduced myself, and then he asked whether I was outgoing.

He briefly explained the job responsibilities.

Later, I said that I had other interviews, and he said I should either start tomorrow or give up. They were the ones who sent the interview invitation.

They lure you to an interview using the job title “travel planner,” only to tell you on-site that it’s actually an assistant position for a salesperson. The interviewer isn’t even a manager—just a female sales representative. Perhaps she performs well at the company, so she acts arrogantly, but she clearly has little experience of the wider world and can’t even understand the contents of applicants’ résumés.
