The general manager maintains high standards, so they are often disliked by employees with very poor performance or those who shirk their duties. Because the company dismisses employees who are dishonest or perform too poorly, these underperforming employees, knowing that the company has great prospects and high standards, still do not want to leave.

This forum moderator seems to already be entangled in legal disputes, because it has become a place for former employees or dismissed employees to anonymously smear the company.

It is truly unbearable to watch such a good company and general manager be smeared by these terrible people.

After reading many negative reviews of QBIC on this site, I can understand everyone’s unpleasant experiences.

However, I have worked at the company for more than three years, and I would also like to share my actual experience—this is purely a sharing of my work experience.

At first, I was also hesitant about whether to attend the interview because of the online reviews, but I went with the mindset of “giving it a try.”

Unexpectedly, I received an acceptance notice two days later and successfully received an offer.

At the time, I had also been accepted by another company, but considering that QBIC was larger, had a good work environment, and its employees’ average age was 35–38, I felt that collaboration and communication would be smoother, so I decided to join.

The former general manager left in 2024 due to personal career planning. The company appreciates his contributions and wishes him a better future.

The current general manager and the heads of each department are all very dedicated to leading everyone forward. The general manager once quoted Ryūnosuke Akutagawa: “Each of us is a small drop of water, but when we come together, we can form an ocean.” At QBIC, every employee is regarded as a valuable partner, and mutual trust and reliance are the foundation of the company’s sustainable development.

The company’s current turnover rate is also not as high as described online.

Of course, there is still room for the company to improve (no matter which company you work for, there will always be some strengths and weaknesses).

But I believe QBIC will continue to get better. I joined in 2022 and have been working here through 2025.

I’m sharing my work experience for everyone’s reference.

Overall, I find most of the people quite easy to get along with. The only drawback is the traffic congestion in Xizhi.

The office is very beautiful

The company likes to engage in internal political infighting despite having only a little over 30 employees.

2. The company has a high turnover rate, and people are regularly laid off. Even if you meet your performance targets, they can still get rid of you whenever they want—it is personal rather than performance-based.

3. Flexible working hours (9–10 a.m. start time), but overtime is ignored. As long as someone is always present when leadership looks at your workstation, that is all that matters.

4. Having an opinion about the company is treated as having an opinion about the boss, so you have to be extremely careful about what you say and make sure certain people do not hear it.

5. The leadership is so confident that it has gone too far. They do not self-reflect when there are problems and frequently leave everyone questioning their basic sense of reality.

Overall, this is a very unfortunate case of a company with wasted potential. For a small company, the benefits are not bad, but the way personnel matters are handled internally is difficult to accept. The boss is very arrogant and constantly wants employees to believe that the company is great, but does not provide a corresponding level of support or contribution, which is unacceptable. The company’s growth is limited to improved sales; everything else related to company expenses—attendance and leave, raises, bonuses, profit sharing, and stock—is handled as discretionary rewards. Do not come expecting everyone to be working hard together; you will have an easier time if you approach the job as just a way to earn a living.

A startup with a rapid break-even point and more holidays than civil servants.

The general manager is too dictatorial. To maintain the weight of his words, he even dismissed a colleague who helped establish the company and had the best performance.

The reward originally promised upon achieving the performance target was withheld because of a last-minute decision.

The company may have development potential, but you should carefully assess whether the ultimate benefits will accrue to you.
