Cons

1. During the pandemic, employees were forced to take annual leave. For example, suppose it is currently April and you have seven days of annual leave remaining. You are required to take three to four days by May 30 because the company expects to be busier in the second half of the year and may not be able to let you take leave (even when you are on leave, you still have to handle work~ The designated stand-in is only for show; it seems that the company cannot function without you for problems big and small~ This job is suitable for people with a strong sense of responsibility.

2. Following the forced annual leave mentioned above, the company said that work would be staggered because of the pandemic. But in practice... you go to the office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, while your annual leave is deducted for Tuesdays and Thursdays....... This was implemented for nearly four weeks, and 10 days of annual leave were deducted.

PS: It’s okay if you don’t have enough annual leave; they’ll help you pre-deduct leave from next year.

3. The three traditional holiday bonuses suddenly disappeared. Only after the New Year did we find out that there would be no year-end bonus, with no announcement made.

When revenue is poor, the company says everyone must weather the difficulty together. When an employee tests positive, however, they say to count it as sick leave according to government policy (even if half your pay is deducted, you still have to handle work at home~ As mentioned earlier, your annual leave has already been deducted, so you can’t use it to take leave at this point either~ What a wonderful company.

4. The air conditioner can only be turned on when the “indoor thermometer” exceeds 28°C.

Pros

Suitable for job seekers who want to head straight to the night market for late-night snacks after working themselves to the bone with overtime.

Cons

The interview was conducted directly in the lobby on the first floor. The supervisor arrived half an hour late because of a meeting, and no tea or water was provided during that time.

The salary on the job website was originally listed as negotiable (under the law, a salary can only be listed as negotiable if it is at least 40K),

but in reality, the customer service administrative position only offered 30K, regardless of relevant past work experience.

Since they could not possibly offer more than 40K, they were completely wasting job seekers’ time.

What they wanted was an employee willing to stay despite not receiving overtime pay, preferably someone who could later transfer to a sales position.

Later, the salary range was changed to 30K–50K, which was honestly laughable.

The supervisor appeared easy to communicate with, but in reality, it was just a salesperson’s conversational technique.

The supervisor also answered a customer’s phone call during the interview, showing a lack of basic respect for job seekers.

Employees in this position do not tend to stay very long; the reason is for everyone to judge for themselves.

Pros

Pays salaries on time

Cons

1. A company with no prospects; suitable for gaining short-term experience, but not for staying long-term

2. A company led by the accounting department; the business and production departments must operate according to the accounting department's requirements

3. The boss lacks empathy and treats employees like robots; not suitable for people who think for themselves

4. Other details—you would have to work there to know them, so I won't elaborate

Pros

1. The company was previously penalized by the Bureau of Labor Insurance, so all departments except sales receive overtime pay after 7 p.m. (the end of the workday is 6 p.m.).

2. To protect the Earth, the air conditioning cannot be turned on when the temperature is below 27°C or when it is still too early.

3. Reprimands, minor demerits, and major demerits from students’ school days are carried over into the company to create a sense of childlike innocence (e.g., being late results in a reprimand and a deduction from pay).

Cons

1. Policies change drastically and frequently, making each day feel completely different from the last.

2. Meetings are held every day, yet no conclusions are ever reached.

3. The graphic design workload is excessive; overtime lasts too long, but the company refuses to approve overtime, leaving the work unfinished.

4. Even paid leave requested more than a month in advance is suddenly required to be canceled unconditionally one or two days before the vacation (even when the company knows that overseas flights and accommodations have already been booked). This is stated in the employee handbook and must be followed.

5. The salary is low. Unless you are a relative of the boss, no matter how many good things you do for the company, they are considered merely what you should be doing. The boss says that, as company employees, you must always prioritize the company in every situation.
