Pros

Good relationships with colleagues. That's all.

Cons

Although the boss is the EP, the entire company has to act according to the LC's preferences. As long as she takes a dislike to you, she will find fault with you even when you have done nothing wrong. So before doing anything, you have to appease her first. You also have to send her work-related materials in advance for her to review, but she usually won't look at them. If you unfortunately offend her, she will target you at work or directly humiliate you publicly in meetings until you resign voluntarily. When any of the above happens, don't expect your supervisors to help you. They will only tell you not to take it personally and then tell you to apologize, even when you have done nothing wrong. And don't expect the EP to uphold justice either. She only cares about money and doesn't manage anything else at all. BTW, during the interview they said 14 months; in reality, getting 13 is already considered good. In short, run! ⚠️

Cons

1. Employees are expected to work overtime, and it is even considered to be the result of insufficient employee ability leading to excessively long working hours. In reality, a PR company will never have a day when all the work is finished;

2. During weekly meetings, the boss always talks about how hard-working and serious they were when they were young, then uses outdated ideas to demand that current young editors handle media relations in ways they do not accept;

3. Having international luxury-brand clients is absolutely not because they have been in the fashion industry for many years, but because they are cheap;

I saw someone say that there must be a reason this company has been able to exist for so long... Well, this company has changed the name under which it is registered with the Commercial Office, and it has also been inspected several times by the labor authorities...

Its reputation for event execution and PR execution is also extremely poor...

You can really ask around. The fashion industry is not an environment with a very high turnover rate, and even with so many years of experience, they still have no influence or standing when they speak. There must be a reason for that...

Cons

For the interview, I arranged to meet with a female manager who arrived an hour late without notifying me in advance. When she did arrive, her attitude was not very good, and she showed no sign of embarrassment or apology. This is not a place to stay for long—better to leave quickly!

Pros

I have a great relationship with my colleagues, I guess?

Cons

You only get a meal allowance for working overtime,

no overtime pay,

the policies are a complete mess,

nearly 200 employees have left within two years,

and you still want to come?

Pros

Basically, the colleagues are very nice.

Cons

There are far too many, including all kinds of violations of the Labor Standards Act.

This includes working until the middle of the night without receiving overtime pay.

The company’s owners and managers are all family members.

The senior manager in Taipei, Jiang L., is the owner’s younger sister.

She is also outrageous: whenever she makes a mistake, she pushes the blame onto you, then turns around and scolds you.

The company is also unprofessional in all kinds of ways, and its systems are extremely incomplete.

All they can say is: “Go ask them for a favor” (they won’t teach you; they just tell you to ask others for favors).

If you want to learn PR, don’t come here. Because the systems are incomplete, you won’t learn anything. (A former junior manager who had been there for almost a year left for another company and was harshly criticized because of their insufficient professionalism.)

By the way, if you become a junior manager in less than a year, you can tell how high the turnover is here…

If you have dreams of working in fashion, don’t come here either. Although it uses the name of a luxury PR company, its clients are no longer luxury brands. As for brands like LV, the company only helps organize newspaper clippings for them; LV’s PR work was taken back in-house by LV a long time ago. Not to mention major brands like Gucci and Dior—they are no longer clients of this company either~
