Originally, the family business was still able to listen to employees’ suggestions

until a general manager surnamed Wang came along.

Cons

A few years ago, the company’s operations in Taiwan were weak. From the very beginning, the salary and benefits lagged behind those of other companies in the same industry. I worked hard to help the company develop its market, and I have no regrets about my efforts and believe I grew alongside the company.

Over the years, not only has the company failed to follow the advice of professional managers,

it has also often become suspicious and distrustful. The turnover rate, both internally and externally, is high.

It fails to understand that the reason the market cannot be developed is that the company’s fundamental mindset is unwilling to change, combined with narrow-minded practices and a host of regulations that violate labor laws. What is more, since a certain general manager surnamed Wang arrived, he has boasted every day without having to think twice, while those on the front line are left covered in wounds. Yet he is unable to personally provide strong support, accompany them, or empathize with them—he only talks. A family business that makes poor personnel choices should bear joint responsibility. It is painful to watch the people brought in exploit and bully employees.

They do not understand the importance of putting people first. After leaving, I could already see the future of this company, and it is worrying.

For now, the company can continue dealing with the lawsuits alleging various violations of the Labor Standards Act.

Think carefully before joining this company.

Pros

I really can't think of any.

Cons

If you want a promotion, just talk about how capable you are and how much you've done, and you can become a deputy section manager. Those who seriously write their KPIs are all fools. Be careful—some people use verbal bullying! The atmosphere is really terrible, and there are many other things that are truly beyond comment.

Harder to find than the “Find and Seek” game

Cons

The Food Division’s Section Chief Chou and Factory Director Yeh think they are the biggest rats in the company. They even told senior managers that employees were excluding them—how shameless can they be? They have no friends and are social outcasts, yet they blame other employees. Everyone is usually busy with their own work, and the office and work environment hardly overlap at all, so how could anyone exclude them? Are they even familiar with you?

Both of them love clinging to influential people. The factory director clings to senior managers, even crying and pretending to be pitiful, then retaliating behind their backs. Section Chief Chou clings to his beloved factory director, forever playing the pretty-boy fake scholar. He pretends to be busy every day over there—do you think everyone is blind and can’t see through it?

Every time the factory director is in a bad mood, he secretly uses work hours to go to the kitchen, beat and steam eggs for the factory director to eat. Truly a loyal dog 🐶

Talented, my foot.

Cons

Senior management is always saying, “Think carefully about what you can contribute to the company.” I’d like to ask: Given the benefits and inadequate systems you provide, how much contribution can you expect from employees?

Please don’t blindly listen only to certain managers who are always playing the victim. Think carefully: Why do employees keep bringing up certain managers? Do they really have no problems at all? Is the company’s decline entirely the employees’ fault? Employees are leaving, while managers sow discord and arbitrarily lay off large numbers of people, even telling employees to resign voluntarily. Do you really believe what managers like that say?

To the big bosses: how much longer do you think the company can hold on? ^^

If there is one, I’ll give you a head start.

Cons

The lunch break rules prohibit turning off the lights to sleep, claiming that this can improve efficiency. Ridiculous.

The company is gradually going downhill. Three colleagues have already been laid off, and all of them were notified just over ten minutes before the end of their workday that they would only work until that day. They were not given any time to pack up their belongings or do any handover at all. It was a termination process that treated them like criminals. There was a camera set up in the meeting room, and HR would take out a stack of documents and tell you, “Sorry, today is your last day.” The company’s Plant Manager Yeh would sit beside you with an expression that was impossible to interpret (watching a show? I don’t know what kind of attitude this really reflects). The company offers no benefits whatsoever. It only tells us that we must unite as one and make money for the company. Then why don’t those highly paid managers think about how those of us earning these salaries at the bottom are supposed to make a living? Think about it carefully: why is the company’s turnover rate so high?

The company's business system offers a base salary of 22K. Ever since a general manager surnamed Wang arrived, he has exploited the sales staff's bonuses, causing them to receive no bonuses and leave. General Manager Wang only ever dreams and pretends to be asleep, unwilling to face the realities of the market, while merely shouting “Go go go!” every day. If shouting like this could raise salaries, I would get up early every day and shout with all my effort. But the facts are cruel: if you are an ambitious young person who wants to work hard, please skip this company. Otherwise, you will waste your youth and still not have a fuller wallet. Unless you know General Manager Wang—if you have connections, poor performance does not matter. There has recently been a large wave of resignations at the company. I hope the company will take this issue seriously. Best wishes to Sinyuan for a smooth journey ahead.

None at all

Cons

The supervisor's attitude toward employees is truly terrible.

The plant manager always looks down on people, puts on a very authoritarian airs,

but in front of upper management, pretends to be pitiful and even cries,

while in private, becomes a completely different person and raises their voice at you at the slightest thing.

They even cover for the food department manager. When an employee was injured at work, they did not offer a single apology, but instead argued stubbornly. They even insisted on accompanying the employee to see a doctor, then entered the consultation room without permission to listen in on the examination, completely violating the employee's privacy.

Moreover, the situation reported to upper management was completely different from what actually happened! This made upper management think it was all the employee's fault!

The food department manager is also outrageous. Taking advantage of the absence of upper-level supervisors, if they take a dislike to you, they will walk over to your workstation, make an exaggerated “hmph” sound in front of everyone, and leave, showing absolutely no respect. It even feels like outright bullying.

The married plant manager and the single food department manager also frequently appear together. Even on business trips, the manager must always be the one driving. I even saw them riding together on a motorcycle, with the plant manager's hand placed in front of the food department manager's thigh—of all things, I happened to see it. And the food department manager, whether out of insecurity or a lack of confidence, stares at any man who talks to the plant manager!

The company's systems are also completely inadequate. The on-site SOPs are full of problems, and everyone is constantly required to take on work for other departments as well, without ever receiving a raise—saving money wherever possible.

What's even more ridiculous is that the ear thermometer recently purchased by the company did not come with plastic covers! It's absolutely disgusting; everyone feels dirty after inserting it into their ear! And there is only one for the entire company! At this rate, there will sooner or later be a massive Wuhan-style outbreak!

Also, if an employee resigns before the Lunar New Year, they receive no year-end bonus at all—and that employee was the only one in the entire company who did not receive one! This is plainly illegal!

Absolutely terrible!!!!!!

I sincerely do not recommend this company!!

A family-owned company that sells pet food and medicines. When the supervisor is not at work, they watch employees’ every move using the office surveillance cameras, and it feels like they also have an audio-monitoring function. The work environment is poor, and it makes for a very unpleasant experience.

Research analyst; private university master's graduate, 3W. The supervisor subtly tests newcomers in a rather underhanded way, which feels very unpleasant, and lacks the patience to develop new employees.
