Pros

The colleagues in Taipei get along very well. Other than that, I can’t think of anything else that could be considered a positive.

Cons

They are unwilling to lay off existing employees, instead forcing them to resign by making them write down reasons for not fitting in. If you need to speak with someone at the management level, be sure to bring a recording device and document everything clearly. I was accused of many false charges because I had no evidence. This company is extremely outrageous. Think carefully before joining!

Pros

The company atmosphere is pretty good, and the salary and benefits are also very good. If you have the ability, the salary can be quite high. Supervisors recognize your efforts, and you can also express your ideas and discuss them. The supervisors are nice too~

Cons

For administrative positions, you need to write approval forms.

Pros

The entire process was quite pleasant. It was a one-on-one interview with the head of the marketing department. The job requirements were explained in great detail and transparently. They seemed to prefer candidates to prepare their own questions (related to the position or the company) and asked relatively few questions. The requirements and benefits mentioned were all in accordance with the Labor Standards Act. There was basically no fixed salary range—if you have the ability and dare to ask, they dare to offer it. It is a company that is expanding and developing.

The required information included “personal background,” “work experience,” “personality assessment (DISC),” and “ranking of the importance of work values” (ranked from 1 to 15, with higher scores indicating greater importance, such as a sense of achievement, work environment, salary, and the impact of work on one’s life). You need to provide your birth date and time according to the Chinese Eight Characters system, although I didn’t know what it was used for and it wasn’t brought up during the interview; whether you mind is a matter of personal preference.

For the expected raise, it is basically fine to provide an approximate figure, and it is also okay to leave it blank. If they want to know, they will ask.

The work atmosphere was pleasant, and the employees got along very well. There were some foreign employees, but they were all quite busy, and many people were constantly walking around.

One side of the elevators stops at odd-numbered floors, while the other stops at even-numbered floors. When you arrive for the interview, go to the ninth floor and check in with the HR department.

Cons

It seems they scheduled all the interviewees for the same time, so some people ended up waiting around after finishing the forms (I waited about 40–50 minutes...).

Pros

Qingda is a subsidiary, and Jingda is still new. Currently, new employees are all registered under Qingda.

There is an employee trip; this year’s destination abroad was Japan.

The year-end bonus was two months this year, indicating that the general range is approximately two to three months.

Cons

They were not very friendly toward the interviewee. They casually found a table, which still had quite a bit of dust on it, and asked the interviewee to sit down and fill out a questionnaire.

The office was somewhat messy, with piles of boxes or samples placed untidily on the floor or tables.

The office had an open layout, so conversations between colleagues could all be heard. While taking the written test, I even heard a supervisor scolding a subordinate.

At the beginning of the interview, the manager did not start looking at the résumé until receiving it, asked three perfunctory questions, and then asked whether the interviewee had any questions.

Based on my observations, it felt like this was a company with a somewhat high turnover rate (the interviewing supervisor also mentioned that the company’s turnover rate was high).

Pros

1. Before the interview, there is a written test. The questions are actually not difficult; they are all related to everyday beauty and skincare (although it is unclear whether they change depending on the position applied for).

2. The interviewing supervisor was very nice and explained the company’s current short-term and long-term goals very clearly.

The company’s strengths and weaknesses were analyzed very thoroughly, allowing one to understand the company’s history, goals, advantages, and disadvantages in a short time.

3. It appears to be a company that is currently developing and growing.

Cons

1. When filling out personal information, the time of birth is required, which feels uncomfortable. You are also asked when you last received a raise, when you will receive your next raise, and the amounts, which is unpleasant.

2. The computer keyboard used for the typing-speed test was very difficult to press (if you are genuinely interested in applying to this company, it is recommended that you bring your own keyboard to the test).

3. It feels like most of the employees are newcomers who joined around the same time, and for some reason the turnover rate also seems somewhat high. (While waiting, I saw the employees around me asking one another questions about their work, and they did not seem to know the answers very well either. This gave me the impression that they had all joined around the same time.)
