The location is desolate, and the interviewer was very rude. Despite seeing how many years of experience you have, they still lowballed the salary. It felt awful.

HR has a lot of experience with the meat quality of the red dragon at the counter.

Cons

The way salary is calculated upon resignation is different from when you’re employed. It really is a company that came from a traditional industry...

Pros

If I really had to say something, the supervisor seemed fairly normal and had a reasonable professional foundation. The questions asked were acceptable.

The red dragon was well cared for.

Cons

I'm not exaggerating—if you're going to interview, I strongly recommend checking Job Bank's Anonymous Reviews early to avoid taking unnecessary detours. Don't let anger cost you a pile of brain cells.

The HR person is the one mentioned in the other posts.

They started making snide remarks toward the interviewee from the moment they called.

When I arrived that day, they gave me only 25 minutes to complete 90 aptitude and logic questions, without telling me that I should simply answer as many as possible within the time.

When time was up, they came straight in and snatched away my test paper without even knocking.

The interview moved to another venue, and everything went smoothly during the presentation and interactions with the supervisor.

Yet someone sat beside us with their legs crossed, writing documents as if they were a senior manager evaluating me.

Yet whenever someone else spoke, it felt as though they had come to pick a fight, constantly nitpicking my education and experience, salary, and working style—even criticizing my proposal.

Then they looked down on me, as if they thought I was insignificant.

I was also told to provide a salary statement.

It looks like the outcome will be the same as in the other posts.

Over the past few months of interviewing, I have encountered quite a few HR managers who made me uncomfortable.

But this one is close to the worst—counting it, I have encountered two like this so far this year.

Pros

1. Does being punctual for work and leaving on time count?

2. Does not making arbitrary deductions count?

3. Does having many relatives and cronies count?

4. Does having quite a few communication barriers count?

Cons

1. From top to bottom and inside out, the systems are outdated. Reform is constantly advocated, and AI is even being used, but the advocates do not understand even the most basic logic of store operations, sales, and work processes.

2. Colleagues are not very friendly. It is understandable that they are targeting the company, but many new employees in various departments are left on their own or receive incomplete handovers.

3. Since I joined the company, the highest number of people I have known to leave in a single month has been more than 20, and many of them were long-term employees with over 10 years of service.

4. Managers rely on their educational backgrounds and experience to look down on or humiliate employees. They often communicate unilaterally and force employees to agree with what they say; otherwise, they pressure employees to take responsibility by shifting the blame. This is workplace bullying.

Pros

The manager who interviewed me was very nice.

Cons

Here is what I dreamed happened.

The female HR interviewer was just as rude, self-important, and disrespectful toward the interviewee as the people here described!

How can such a large company have an HR person like this?

Pros

The fish on the second floor are cute.

Cons

The most serious issue is that I waited 40 minutes for the interview. Is that showing any respect for people?

Also, it advertises one thing but delivers another: I applied for A, but only after going to the interview did I discover it was actually B. Yet they insisted that the job title was A. Do they think I’m an idiot?

The key point is that they only explained the actual job duties after I pressed them about it. What is wrong with them?

Cons

The HR person was just as rude as others have said. I felt extremely uncomfortable after the interview, and only after looking at the reviews did I realize that what I experienced was common among others as well. They pressed me about the salary at my previous job, even asking for details about how much it was adjusted each time. They answered one question with another and then asked me questions in return. They also pressed me about personal privacy. I’ve interviewed at nearly ten companies, and this was the first time I encountered HR like this.

Pros

After thinking about it for 7,749 days, I still can't think of anything.

Cons

The HR was extremely rude—the rudest HR I have ever encountered in my life was at Synnex. They asked about my salary at my previous company, and after I told them, they kept questioning me. They even criticized me, saying that the market rate at my previous company was not that good, and assumed I was lying, apparently trying to use this to suppress my salary. After I provided proof of my salary, they switched to criticizing my experience and continued trying to push down my salary. All I can say is that HR represents the company, and this HR completely changed my impression of Synnex. ><

Applied for a position at the Taoyuan warehouse. The location is desolate and the environment is run-down, but the security guard was nice. They posted a daytime position and invited people to interview, but in fact they only wanted to ask whether you could work the night shift. After the interview, they were too lazy to even respond when asked when the result would be announced.

Also, after submitting your résumé, it’s best to check your text messages. HR will send a text saying that they called you but couldn’t reach you, but they must have called a ghost—even the call log shows nothing. They just want you to call them yourself.

Pros

The supervisor is a normal person and doesn't ask strange, tricky questions.

Cons

1. HR was very rude. When asking for the aptitude test, they simply said, “Give it to me.”

2. They kept asking personal questions, such as, “You left your previous job because of a health issue—what kind of illness was it?” and “Do you have children?”

3. When I was describing my past experience, they kept inserting their own opinions and would interrupt me while I was speaking.

HR seemed more interested in picking a fight than in finding a new employee.

Pros

The colleagues are all pretty nice.

Moreover, they are all hidden talents with strong abilities.

Even after leaving the company, we have stayed in touch.

They are all doing quite well too.

Cons

Whether a department manager was parachuted in from outside

can be inferred from the overall age and salary levels of their subordinates.

If your abilities are too strong, you will not be able to stand out.

However, many of the managers are genuinely very capable.

The boss is good, and the company is also fairly stable,

but it simply cannot retain people, which is a real shame.

If you can enter the head office through your own abilities rather than because you are young, inexpensive, and easy to use,

it means that your abilities have received a certain level of recognition.

If a friend wanted to join this company,

I would still encourage them,

but the prerequisite is still to consider who the manager is.

Pros

Most colleagues are easy to get along with.

Cons

1. There are a lot of internal meetings, and they often take a great deal of time. They can last two or three hours, but in the end there is no conclusion.

2. You think you are learning a lot, but in fact much of it is just miscellaneous work.

3. Having connections is equivalent to having none; having no connections is equivalent to having connections.

4. It is difficult to get a raise, but your workload can increase severalfold.

5. Many departments do not pay overtime.

6. It is not easy to get promoted.

At Synnex, it feels like bad money drives out good money—you can watch excellent people continually leave.

Pros

Impressed by the arowana fish at the reception desk on the 2nd floor

Cons

1. Far from the MRT station, and the food nearby is not very good

2. The manager is incompetent and fickle in decision-making, lacks common sense, and often gives incorrect advice

3. When problems arise, the manager not only fails to step in and shield you, but also undermines you behind your back

4. I heard that “yellow” is taboo on the official website, so avoid using it if possible

5. The three-festival bonuses are paid all at once during the Lunar New Year, so choose your joining date carefully

6. There are both an incompetent, scheming male manager parachuted in from outside and incompetent, useless male colleagues; you have to learn to adjust to this situation

7. Meetings are held frequently, but they are all meaningless and merely involve passing the buck

8. The turnover rate is extremely high; I’m glad I’ve already left

Pros

The only good thing is that the colleagues are easy to get along with!

Cons

1. The salary is quite low, and it is very difficult to get a raise!

2. There are many relatives and associates of influential people, so there is no chance of promotion!

3. There are too many redundant employees! People with genuine ability do not stay long!

4. The organization is being restructured all the time—is this a workplace or a moving company?!

5. Employees are disposable trash who can be sacrificed and discarded at any time!

6. Management is incapable of making decisions, and the turnover rate is extremely high!

In short, think twice before joining!! (Especially a certain assistant manager in Retail Marketing, who has neither a sense of responsibility nor ability.) Speaking as someone who wasted two years there!

Pros

Good company. Except for a few parachuted-in junior managers, all the other colleagues and managers are very easy to get along with.

Cons

Forcing colleagues to monitor and eavesdrop on other colleagues

I simply can't betray my brothers

Yelling and ordering around other departments all day long

You think that just because you really have someone backing you, you can be invincible

The most important thing for a manager is harmony among people

Every one of your subordinates and counterparts in other units dislikes you

And you still foolishly dream of becoming an assistant general manager

Good company. Apart from a few parachuted-in junior managers, all the other colleagues and managers are very easy to get along with.

Cons

The most important project for Innovation 3 is the Synnex online mall.

The manager’s greatest achievement is the Synnex online mall.

Yet that manager gave the engineers who developed the mall a B+ performance rating.

If the engineers who developed the mall really did such a poor job,

why did you, as their manager, still let it go live and operate?

Then you and certain people who eat with you every day received A ratings and performance bonuses.

Do you have no shame?

They worked hard to help you launch it, and even the promised salary increase was reduced.

Anyone you interview casually earns far more than the employees who worked overtime and on holidays to build the mall for you.
