Pros

1. The overtime pay that is owed is paid.

2. Free boxed meals are provided when working overtime.

3. The annual salary includes 15 months’ pay.

Cons

1. The supervisor makes emotional remarks and personally attacks employees.

2. They do not respect professional expertise, focusing only on how to compress the project timeline to meet the customer’s demands.

3. Internally, the presentation of reports and documents is scrutinized excessively. People involved may be notified in the middle of the night to revise reports.

4. The supervisor is inconsistent in decision-making, and their work-related judgments often differ from reality.

5. They continually add work that falls outside the scope of one’s responsibilities.

6. The supervisor treats employees differently, resulting in an uneven distribution of work.

7. There are sexual harassment issues within the company, but upper management does not address them.

Pros

The job is very easy to get by in: push everything onto other departments, and when a report is needed, ask someone else to provide the information so you can submit it. Every day at work, you can plan weekend trips, watch stocks, and speculate on futures. Whenever something happens, keep passing the buck and dragging things out; say it will be completed, and collude with the vice president, who earns 400,000 a month, to deceive the SAM president. When he insists on seeing the data, give him fake data—he will not check it anyway.

Cons

The management comes from China and Taiwan, and the infighting between them is extremely serious. Because they cannot find enough people, they hire some who cannot find jobs elsewhere or are very good at making grand promises. On top of that, there is the group of people at the Taipei headquarters who are idling around until retirement. Every day, they push responsibilities onto others. Human Resources leaks the managers’ pay slips, so all the Vietnamese employees know who earns 90,000, who earns 130,000, and who earns 400,000.

Pros

There are stock allocations, but the shares aren't worth much.

About 16 months' pay per year.

Cons

The HR staff at Taiwan Fxxdy and the Vietnamese HR staff—both of them, including someone called A-Xiang—are very rude.

When I was assigned to Vietnam, right after I got off the plane, the people receiving me told me nothing about transportation, accommodation, or the company. They wouldn't provide any information even when I asked. After I started work, they kept delaying the visa application. They only arranged medical examinations after gathering 20 people. The work permit took 2–3 months. It's a classic case of using a brute-force manpower strategy, bringing in a bunch of Taiwanese and mainland Chinese staff to pad the numbers. Lunch was eaten with the workers, and there wasn't even enough to eat; dinner was on your own. On the surface, they claimed the accommodation was in an upscale residential area, but the inside was run-down, and not a single compartment cabinet could be closed properly.

They had mainland Chinese staff handle all the handover and training, and of course they made things extremely difficult for you. There was no proper training or organizational-chart orientation. As soon as I joined, the system was already putting my name on approvals, asking me to sign off on things with no context or explanation. The whole atmosphere was extremely strange.

I thought the standards at a listed company would be better, but I never expected it to be this terrible.

HR, who never even reads and responds to messages, will rush to urge you to return to Taiwan as soon as you resign, worried that your use of their visa will affect the company's reputation. But honestly, it is embarrassing to say that I once worked for such a terrible company...

Pros

During the interview, I was directly mocked with, “I think everything you know is really XXXX.”

Then they ghosted me too.

Cons

I would only seriously consider accepting an offer from that manager if I had no other options. I’m very sorry, but I have to say that.

Also, according to other information, this is a family-owned business. Outsiders... well, just keep your eyes open.

Pros

You absolutely won’t be forced to stay late and pretend to work overtime—everyone stays voluntarily (especially in Department A).

No one will ever complain when you take leave, and they certainly won’t ask you to write some grand-sounding reason (even for annual leave).

Oh, and the department absolutely does not do anything illegal—everything is legal.

Cons

How could there be anything bad? Everything is great :)

Pros

1. They say the company has a high-salary index of 1000 or something.

2. There are about 16 months of salary per year.

Cons

1. The IT department is overworked.

2. You need to be willing to work overtime and travel to the new plant in Vietnam, the Suzhou plant, and the United States.

3. They also ask whether you are willing to be stationed overseas.

4. They say the users of this company are in a great hurry.

Pros

The company's exterior looks normal.

Cons

The male manager who interviewed me asked very uncomfortable questions.

Other job seekers, please be careful.

1. He asked whether I had ever personally taken something from someone else, and even gave the example: stealing someone else's boyfriend?? (A complete question mark.)

2. He asked me to give an example of a setback I had experienced because he wanted to know how well I could cope with setbacks. After I gave an example from my own experience, he asked whether I had anything more specific—for example, a family member dying??? (Another question mark.)

3. He asked whether I could accept doing something illegal or morally degraded in order to achieve a goal. He even gave the example of arranging hostesses for a client, and bluntly said that this kind of transactional sex is normal in the sales department.
