Yilan Chlory Bay

The boss will always spout unreasonable principles and excuses that are not really reasons. This company uses employees until they are worn out. Every day, there are routine, purposeless meetings for indoctrination. Taiwanese people should think twice before joining; they cannot hire Taiwanese employees, so in the end the workforce is entirely migrant workers. Never take the boss’s idealistic talk seriously; otherwise, you will make what you believe is a reasonable judgment and ultimately act on your own initiative. In the end, you become a punching bag for verbal bullying. If there is a problem, go to the boss. If there is no answer or next step, just leave it unresolved—otherwise, you will never stop falling into the boss’s traps.

The salary starts at 27K, regardless of your previous experience or abilities. It is more suitable for fresh graduates with no work experience who want to gain experience.

Those with experience and strong abilities are not recommended to join.

First, they ask you to describe your experience in your previous job. Then they say that during economic downturns, only those who keep eating will always prosper. In between, they talk at length about dreams and ideals. Then, when it comes to salary, they completely disregard your experience: everyone starts at 28K, with increases from there. Everything else depends on commissions from cases, but this was not clearly stated on the application page.

In addition, you usually have to work on Saturdays, and one day off is scheduled from Monday to Friday.

Overall, it feels demotivating.

Pros

The receptionist was very kind and served tea.

Cons

As soon as I walked in, I heard the boss loudly lecturing someone in a Taiwanese-accented Mandarin~

The interview initially started with the project planner; their attitude was normal, and communication also seemed normal~

Later, I met with the associate manager, who immediately rattled off a long explanation about the company's industry

that had nothing to do with the job, saying they liked to hire young people.

Simply put, that means inexperienced and cheap: the starting salary is low, with absolutely no room for negotiation.

They said you could learn a lot at the company and hoped new hires would join to learn.

But it sounded like a traditional-industry company that doesn't understand design and can't communicate effectively.

Unless your EQ is high enough, you would probably be driven crazy.

Pros

The atmosphere wasn’t serious, and the supervisors were all introducing their own company. The interview included very few questions. The environment was ordinary, but it smelled nice and was filled with the aroma of coffee beans.

Cons

After the interview, they said I was definitely hired and could start work this Friday or Monday, and that they would let me know which day because they needed to coordinate the schedule with the summer part-time workers. But by Thursday, there was still no news. I called to ask and was told that HR wasn’t there and would call me back the next day, but then I never heard anything again. But here’s the funny part: two weeks later, I actually received an interview notification. Do they think they’re some big company with first- and second-round interviews? They don’t even remember who they interviewed. What is wrong with them? ==

Traditional companies have no standards for selecting candidates and make decisions based on the owner’s personal preferences (the owner thinks they know a lot about marketing and has a strong old-school streetwise demeanor). They ask applicants to write proposals, but after the proposals are sent to the supervisor, there is absolutely no response—not even an expression of thanks. There is no follow-up at all, completely letting down the effort put in by the job seeker.

The boss’s emotional management needs improvement. Traditional corporate bad habits: You’re here to learn, so you should be grateful that I’m teaching you; your expertise isn’t expertise, and only my ideas are correct. What was promised in the interview will never be fulfilled.

You may be required to come to work during typhoons. If you don’t show up, you’ll be singled out the next day for supposedly lacking team spirit. Severance pay owed but not paid.
