Challenging the limits of human intelligence nonstop every day

Cons

Lately, the world has held an offside seminar every four years. The one most familiar here is the kind of out-of-control, needle-stuck seminar, taking obscure paths that nobody knows.

The product is like a theft case: it has already been stolen, and the plan died after the person left for two years. The first generation combined strength and beauty with a striking design.

Opening the search, I discovered it was priced unreasonably high, so I began wondering why I was spending so much money just to emphasize a replica. But the discussion failed and ended up merely fixing a leaking pipe.

People oppose each other every day: World War I, World War II, and World War III.

The most familiar kind is someone who still thinks it is the World Cup, with big-headedness running rampant.

A problem occurred, and absolutely no one knew where he was.

Asking about intentions while deliberately making sarcastic remarks is of no help whatsoever. They boast that communication channels are open and everything is public, fair, and transparent—is that really the truth? What a load of crap.

What exactly does the KKLive executive manager do? What exactly are they trying to stream? What are they consuming?

Pros

The interview was with KKFARM.

The hiring manager, a PM, communicated clearly and expressed themselves well, making it easy to quickly understand the department’s business operations and team structure.

The HR representative was friendly and checked in about the interviewee’s experience after the interview ended.

Cons

The technical manager could not answer questions about the responsibilities of the position. They appeared to be conducting the interview on behalf of a different department.

The interview process was rather serious, with aggressive questioning. The interviewer’s questions were pushy and relentless, digging into every detail.

They did not ask about VUE, which is used in this position, and the interview focused almost entirely on general JavaScript concepts.

Questions about general concepts should have been included in a written test, where there would be an appropriate amount of time to respond.

Pros

Interviewing with the COO of KKculture was truly an eye-opening experience. I hope everyone gets the chance to receive this rare interview ticket!

1. The COO asked me how I would optimize the company’s platform products after joining. I offered many ideas based on my experience at startups, but every single one was shot down. She said that many of the things I mentioned were “marketing” tasks, not things that should be handled by product, and told me not to bring up marketing optimization again because the marketing team would take care of it themselves. So I continued with functional and experience optimizations, but unexpectedly, the interviewer still shook her head and thought those were not very useful either~

While I was struggling to think, the great COO directly revealed the ultimate answer to making a good product: SEO.

The answer was so shocking that I was speechless for a moment. It turned out that everything I had previously understood about SEO was wrong—apparently SEO does not count as marketing! It was such a trap question that even I was stumped. Truly worthy of the great COO...... Even though I felt that doing SEO was quite basic, and that there are also many different types of SEO, the COO’s proud expression at the time made me feel that I shouldn’t raise any other questions, because surely I must have had doubts simply because I didn’t understand!

And apparently, after all these years, your company still hasn’t optimized its SEO? To have operated until now without optimization is truly outstanding. If I start a company in the future, I must learn this kind of composure!

2. The COO tested me on how I usually search for restaurants. I said: “I use Google Maps to search directly by location~”

The COO was extremely disappointed and told me that most people search directly through a browser, so SEO is very important! This conversation taught me the best way to search for restaurants! I was immensely grateful inside, and also reflected that I really should contribute more Google SEO traffic so that Taiwanese businesses can survive better. Helping myself and helping others—everyone wins. The COO is so wise!

3. The type of person the COO wanted was completely different from what the direct supervisor for the position wanted. The interview questions and the skills listed on the job posting were different as well, which made me realize that what you see in front of you is not necessarily reality! People need to be capable of adapting to constant change in order to survive in an ever-changing world!

4. The COO worked hard to give me a rare opportunity to practice handling pressure. The exercises included: a contemptuous expression, a flippant attitude, harsh and cutting remarks, provocative words, and so on. Practicing stress resistance while being interviewed made today about more than just an interview—the interview came with complimentary hours of experiencing a toxic boss. After nearly an hour of this trial, I feel that I have become much stronger inside! Many thanks.

__________

To make sure everyone doesn’t look for the wrong person and miss out on the essence, I’m kindly letting you know here that the COO is a middle-aged woman, so don’t get the wrong person~

Cons

There are no drawbacks! Extremely excellent!

Pros

It seems there are none left.

Cons

The former KKculture has been dismantled.

The company is becoming increasingly bureaucratic. For example, the COO has a traditional management style and is not very accepting of people whose views differ from his old-fashioned perspectives. As for the product, it has never managed to break through, talent is leaving year after year, and the company has long since lost its vitality and passion.

A wide variety of snacks and drinks

Afternoon tea is provided

Cons

Let us use Jolin’s words as a guide to reflect on the meaning of this passage.

“Those who speak maliciously toward others are actually people who do not know how to love or respect themselves. Those who know how to respect themselves will understand that the words they say are like speaking about themselves.

When faced with malicious or extreme words from the past, ‘Every time you see someone who does not respect or love themselves, ask the universe to treat them a little more kindly.’” — Excerpt from Jolin

Pros

Nothing discovered so far

Cons

The interview was with the parent company of KKBOX. It was understandable that the interview was postponed for personal reasons on the manager’s part, but after finally getting an interview opportunity, they asked whether I had anything to share. Huh? I was there for an interview, not to spend my time giving you a free lecture!

Moreover, the questions were very aggressive, as if they wanted me to explain every technical skill I had for their interviewers to learn. I was interviewed for almost the entire afternoon, and they kept asking question after question: How are the processes handled at your current company? What is the development process? What technologies do you use? And so on.

I answered everything, only to receive a rejection letter a few days later. The reason was actually “there may be uncertainty.” What kind of strange reason is that? To this day, I still don’t understand what it means. = =

Pros

The interview took place in the break room. First, I had to take a computer-based test. I was given an A4 sheet with two tests; each was described in one sentence, covering subjects A and B. The bonus question involved programming and was unrelated to design. The computer was a Mac Pro, but the files were so large that they still took some time to run on it. The test lasted approximately 25 minutes, but the questions were relatively difficult—not just simple PSD files. The test was intended to assess familiarity with the software, and candidates who could not complete the questions would basically be eliminated immediately. During the subsequent conversation with the interviewer, he directly said that he was not in good shape that day, so the interview ended after a brief conversation. It felt like the testing portion lasted longer than the final interview.

Cons

I hope more relevant information can be provided on the job-search website.

None

Cons

Aggressive questioning. The interview questions were confrontational, relentlessly probing until they got to the bottom of things and would not stop until they achieved their objective. After the interview, I felt dazed and uncomfortable.

Pros

The project was fairly interesting

Cons

Kkstream interview

At first, I received a call from HR inviting me to an interview.

They said I had to complete a project first.

I was given about a week to complete the project.

After finishing it, I went to the company for an interview. It lasted about two hours: one hour to discuss the project and one hour for a programming test.

After that, I received no response. It was really outrageous. Of all the companies that required applicants to complete a project, this was the only one that never gave me any feedback.

Pros

The interviewer was a nice person.

Cons

The HR representative from the subsidiary kksteam did not introduce the company culture, benefits, or anything else at all. They only brought the test paper and took it away (they did say to let them know when it was finished). For the remaining 40 minutes, the interviewee was left waiting alone in the conference room—an incredible waste of time!

This is a review of kkstream

The office is very beautiful

Cons

They were very indecisive about hiring.

They rejected me at first, then said they were looking for a time to talk with me.

In the end, they rejected me using a very poor excuse.

They wasted the interviewee’s time.

I feel that they are still figuring out what kind of talent they are looking for.

After this experience, I will absolutely never interview again with any company affiliated with kkbox.

Pros

The engineers who conducted the interview were very nice and were also generous with constructive feedback.

The HR representative’s attitude was not as terrible as mentioned in other reviews, either. Perhaps it varies by department, or maybe the person has changed?

Cons

I was proactively invited to an interview by the company’s HR department. I completed the test, provided my personal information, and prepared a presentation, but in the end I was rejected by a manager who only showed up in the second interview, on the grounds that I had “insufficient work experience.”

Heh, if my work experience was insufficient, why invite me to interview in the first place?

Two weeks of time, along with all the effort I put into preparing the presentation, was completely wasted.

Later, I heard from others that the manager of that department prefers employees who are “easy to manage.” So if you decide to interview there, I recommend that you act submissive— I mean, be on your best behavior—in front of the manager.

Pros

1. High-quality work environment; laptops and large monitors are provided according to job requirements, along with free snacks and drinks.

2. The atmosphere among colleagues is uncomplicated.

3. Afternoon tea/breakfast every week.

4. Company events or benefits such as private movie screenings.

5. Free health checkup after completing one year of employment.

Cons

1. Low salary.

2. The bureaucratic culture is becoming increasingly serious.

3. A company run on personal relationships: those who have been there longer or stay in the good graces of senior managers are more likely to continue getting promoted.

4. Work is primarily focused on pleasing the boss. Sometimes, when the boss says something, everyone obediently rushes to do it, even if it does not align with market needs or trends.

5. Some managers at the company favor subordinates who flatter them and are obedient. As a result, colleagues with ideas, initiative, and aspirations for greater achievement gradually leave.

Pros

1. Good benefits—everything you would expect is provided (three holiday bonuses/two months’ year-end bonus/company trips/health checkups once every two years), along with some special perks such as additional annual paid leave, private movie screenings for employees, afternoon tea, and more.

2. A relaxed culture, flexible working hours, and some departments allow remote work. Taking leave is generally not difficult.

3. Most people are nice, easy to communicate with, and get along well.

Cons

1. Low salary.

2. HR is quite unpleasant.

3. A bureaucratic culture is spreading.

4. The company lacks a goal that can bring people together.

Overall, a few years ago there was still some of the drive and vision of a startup. Although there were conflicts internally, they were really sparks fueled by everyone wanting to get things done well. Things have changed significantly since then. The company can no longer retain idealistic young people; capable people may not necessarily want to join, and some are leaving. The atmosphere of coasting toward retirement is very strong.
