Read the community guidelinesBasically none; working hours are generally on time (there’s no overtime pay, so why work overtime?).
I don't know the other commenters, but my experience really was the same. (I didn't encounter the part about the boss's wife, so I have no comment.)
The boss is extremely stingy! No matter how much you sell or how hard you work, the bonus is disproportionately tiny—pathetically, ridiculously small. Almost all of the company's equipment is secondhand. They love making random repairs and connections themselves, so every day there are malfunctions, disconnections, breakdowns... and they even ask employees to fix them.
The policies say one thing and do another. The boss violates the rules he established himself, and then gets angry and nitpicks when employees respond to customers according to company policy, asking why they replied that way. It’s completely absurd; the explanations keep changing.
Surveillance: You really will be monitored. They’re suspicious of everything, which feels terrible.
Business trips are awful. Apart from the company paying for the tickets, they make you do everything as cheaply as possible. There is no accommodation; they tell you to stay in the store. You pay for your own meals and gas, and the travel time is counted as your own time, with no attendance allowance. They only give you a little extra after you complain. Worst of all, you may be forced to go on business trips for no apparent reason.
The boss has a terrible temper and is extremely impatient. He obsesses over some inexplicable things to an extreme degree, repeatedly changing everything without anyone knowing what he is actually changing. Employee turnover is extremely high. During my one year there, nearly 10 people left, and very few stayed for more than a year.
They don’t know what professionalism means. They expect vendors to teach them every skill for free (and they’re extremely stingy, so they end up falling out with vendors after working together for only a short time). They tell employees, “This is easy,” order them to learn it immediately, and then make them do it themselves.
There is genuinely no planning for anything. They often say that employees lack logic, and then say things that nobody can understand! Can you speak plainly? Who exactly is the one with poor logic??
If you resign before completing three months, they still deduct money. Payday is split between the 10th and the 20th. They use every possible method to cut costs and save money—so stingy it’s unbelievable. Then the boss may be in a bad mood too.
Worst of all, you often have to lie at work: make up reasons to reply to or placate customers because the policies are chaotic, the boss keeps changing his story, or tools malfunction and deliveries are delayed. But they absolutely refuse to tell customers that something is broken... so you have to keep lying..
In short, unless you have an extreme passion for precious metals, think very, very, very carefully before accepting this job!

The boss is very stingy
and even assigns trusted employees to remotely monitor whether you are working seriously
and if you are caught, they will deduct money for no apparent reason
They say there are bonuses, but they always use various excuses not to give them to you
They also interfere in your personal life, say one thing and do another, and even worse,
they deliberately provoke you or make sarcastic remarks, then use various excuses to retain what you know or your experience and turn it into their own. So never leave anything with them. The boss also absorbs things bit by bit this way to intimidate you, making it seem as if he is very professional. Don’t be fooled—what he knows is only superficial at best!!
The boss’s wife is also outrageous, even more suspicious than the boss, and treats employees terribly, practically always by yelling at them
Exploitative boss and exploitative boss’s wife!!!! Be very careful if you come here
Just getting off work sooner and leaving this awful place.
The boss says one thing and does another, and is suspicious and paranoid, always wondering what employees are up to. There is also a trusted subordinate who reports to the boss about what you are doing. That trusted subordinate is very good at shifting blame. The boss also refuses to pay accommodation expenses on business trips and tells you to stay at the store.
Nothing is planned. When something goes wrong, employees are blamed for having problems; when money is made, the boss takes all the credit. The boss does not listen to employees’ professional expertise and is always trying to show that they are more capable than you to put you down. They are also extremely, extremely, extremely stingy. Whenever something breaks, employees are told to repair it. If an employee cannot fix it, the boss assumes the employee is lazy and not taking things seriously, and may even say that the employee has poor logic.
The boss loves using Google’s collaboration platform because it is free. The information on it is a complete mess, and the permissions granted to different positions are also a complete mess. If the boss has not given you access, they will still scold you for not telling them.
The boss’s wife is ten times worse than the boss. She even suspects that employees have someone else clock in for them and believes that all employees are trying to steal from the company. She is even stingier, and payday is the day the boss’s wife is in the worst mood.
The salary is supposedly paid on the 10th, but in reality it is paid on the 10th and the 20th. They will also ask you to sign an unfair contract: if you resign before completing six months, money will be deducted; if you resign before completing three months, money will also be deducted. Be careful when signing the contract.
The boss’s wife also has a trusted subordinate who reports things to her.
The boss and his wife are not even on the same page. They use their phones to monitor the security cameras and see what you are doing. The cameras also record audio, so they can listen to what you say, and they listen to your phone calls as well.
In short, the boss and his wife are simply terrible.

The boss is a strange person. He runs the company himself, and when business is poor, he emotionally tells employees, “You all need to work harder,” taking emotional manipulation to the extreme. I joined as a企劃, but besides planning-related tasks, employees were also expected to entertain guests and solicit business; give marketing presentations to clients; design websites and create product artwork; write website-related policies and copy; use the company’s inventory, purchasing, sales, and accounting system; assist with store inspections in northern, central, and southern Taiwan (fortunately, the Taichung and Kaohsiung stores later closed); and even design a coding system for the company’s products. In addition, on weekends and holidays, he would make incessant calls—like a terrifying romantic partner—calling more than ten times in the morning, afternoon, and evening to assign work. If the calls were not answered, employees would also be reprimanded. Besides all of the above, after work we also had to help count inventory and take care of the landscaping. You are guaranteed to learn eighteen different skills from the time you join the company until you resign. Unfortunately, after mastering all those skills, the monthly salary for working more than twenty days was only a little over 9,000.
