The current managers are all very incompetent; most of them only want to shirk responsibility.
They are either hitting on girls or slacking off reading novels. Nothing concerns them.
The support staff are also ineffective. This place is getting worse and worse.
I advise everyone not to come.
There is no opportunity for development at all.
You can eat the laborer meal set and also take Treasure Island tofu pudding or drinks to go—something to eat and something to take home. Calculating the food expenses, you can save at least NT$3,000 a month…
If you maintain a good relationship with the department counters, you can occasionally eat the extra meal ingredients they have prepared.
You can work at your own pace, and hammer the department counters you don’t like.
There are no disadvantages. Unless there is a customer complaint, you can spend the entire eight-hour day hiding in the office and pretending to be dead, evading the people from Far Eastern Department Store and headquarters. Put all your points into evasion and hide as much as possible.
No advantages.
The benefit is that the previous HR person left ^_^
As mentioned above, because they always talked nonsense.
Previously, they hired a bunch of people for commercial positions who had no mall experience, just to gloss over the issue.
As a result, there wasn't a single person at the Xinyi store with mall experience, yet they could receive higher salaries and hold higher positions.
However, now that they have left, things should be about the same.
There are still a bunch of people who get by easily and keep slacking off, as well as people with poor logic.
There's really no need to imagine a future for this company anymore.
The above is provided for everyone's reference.
No advantages
Back-office units, seat consumption, etc. all have to liaise directly with brands. It’s outrageous.
These were originally the responsibilities of the business units, but in the end, the back office handles all the liaison work.
And those who do nothing never get criticized.
Poor year-end bonuses and benefits.
Men whose girlfriends are considering joining this company, think twice. I won’t say more.
There are no advantages—otherwise, why would there be so many vacancies?
There are tons of drawbacks. The reply below is so hilarious I almost died laughing. HR should pay more attention to salary negotiations.
In this age of information transparency, salaries are hardly confidential anymore. Everyone lays them out and compares them with one another.
So don’t mislead people by saying things like whether they have shopping mall experience.
It’s true that many managers at this company make grand promises. As for the issue of relationships between men and women, that only started happening this year.
I heard that when the capable store managers and leasing managers were still there, everyone was very happy, and they really did get the company through the pandemic and solve many problems.
But they have all left.
All I can do about what remains is laugh.
Young people, keep your eyes wide open. There are plenty of jobs now, so choose carefully. This is just a food court operated by a sublandlord.
As mentioned above, the current managers can’t really teach you anything, because they themselves don’t have much experience (in store operations).
Time is precious, so spend it on work you genuinely enjoy and find meaningful.
How could there be any pros?
The northern region’s operations are all very problematic.
The northern branch manager thinks about picking up women every day.
They themselves do not even fit the brand, yet they can still draw a salary.
Oh, right.
HR is also seriously problematic. The branch manager clearly has no shopping mall experience, yet can receive that kind of salary.
Colleagues with no shopping mall experience, on the other hand, are paid entry-level salaries.
Recruitment filled four positions and asked for a raise, but was told that it was not possible because they had no shopping mall experience.
Where are your conscience and logic? The ones who sit back and enjoy the fruits of others’ labor always have it the easiest.
Do not compromise because you are desperate to find a job and believe what these people say.
You will only come here to waste your time.
Most managers have little actual ability.
Those who were capable have all left.
The salaries for outsiders are high.
Everyone’s abilities are rated poorly.
If you just want to coast, it’s very easy—you can be as incompetent as you like, and no one will touch you.
They only look for people with no industry experience to manage the work (in the north).
They have no persuasive power at all. The people they develop themselves are paid pitifully little, yet still have to work for these poorly rated parachuted-in hires.
And now the relationships between men and women feel like a complete mess.
I really don’t understand why they’re paying to support this group of people who contribute nothing.
By the way, the benefits are terrible. Take what supervisors and HR say with a grain of salt.
They make promises without even drafting an outline.
A truly awful place.
There aren't really any advantages. All the good people have left, leaving behind a bunch of rude people.
The professionalism at one particular branch really needs to be improved—very, very much.
Also, this company doesn't offer much in the way of benefits.
Don't look at the incentive system on 104.
The supervisor also loves to make grand promises and talks empty words all day long.
If you want to waste your life, you can give this place a try. It will definitely be busy and exhausting, with not much of a future.
The advantage is that none of my colleagues are bad people, though many workplaces are like that.
Don't believe everything about salary increases and benefits on 104.
The company name is very misleading; it should already have been delisted overseas.
I strongly recommend that, if you have the time, you avoid stepping into this pitfall.
Salary growth is extremely slow. No matter how much work you do, resources only go to a few people favored by upper management, though they also work very hard.
Someone on Salary Exploration shared things very thoroughly. Spending a bit more time and money to avoid pitfalls is worthwhile.
By the way, it seems that many of the brand stores have closed from last year to this year. It is truly a miserable situation.
