Cons

1. HR provided the wrong interview address. It should have been in Nangang, but they gave me Neihu.

2. The newly provided address was still incorrect, so I had to check the official website myself to confirm it.

3. When I filled out the interview form, HR asked me to sign in the interviewer’s field. Shouldn’t I have filled in the interviewee’s field instead?

4. Ten minutes after I filled out the interview form, HR told the receptionist that they were going out. It was only when the receptionist reminded them that there was an interviewee that they remembered.

5. The supervisor who interviewed me seemed to have only found out that morning that I was coming for an interview, because they mentioned it to another colleague at the entrance.

The front desk staff were very rude as soon as I walked in, and the interview office was very shabby. After that, they handed me a sheet of paper containing information that was already provided on 104, along with other questions that involved family privacy and were unrelated to the job (the A4 paper was not even printed properly). One of the interviewers lacked logic (I didn’t know whether she was from HR or a manager). Not only were her questions unprepared, but she also did not understand what I was saying. After I explained something for five minutes, she would ask about it again, and she would get angry when I told her I had already answered. She criticized what my current company does, yet could not explain what her own company currently does.

Pros

Learned a lot, a lot, a lot of things?

Cons

The position is listed as an R&D Specialist at JIACHAN Biotechnology, but in reality it has absolutely nothing to do with the external sales department. It is essentially like working for a small company, with only the manager, you, and a bunch of unpaid interns (before I left, they said they would hire more people, but I don’t know whether that was really true). Although it is called an R&D Specialist position, it is actually an end-to-end role involving purchase requests, quotations, shipping, production, communicating with overseas customers, and helping the manager take notes.

The manager is accustomed to eating dinner at the company, so your working overtime every day means nothing to him. There is no overtime pay because this is “company culture,” but this department is often the last one to leave the entire company.

The manager has poor emotional management and is often impatient. When I asked him about matters that the previous employee had not handed over, he often replied that he didn’t know.

Lunch breaks are frequently delayed.

Pros

I honestly can't think of anything.

Cons

1. Some colleagues like to shift responsibility to one another.

2. Despite being a large company, it has absolutely no systems or processes in place.

3. There are positions with work that needs to be done every day, yet they remain vacant for more than half a year because no one can be found. Once someone is hired, they spend the entire day working overtime to rush through the backlog, but are then accused of not doing any real work and merely practicing with the system, supposedly causing them to keep working overtime...

4. The company's way of working is very inefficient, and it is not good at integrating resources, resulting in a lot of duplicated work. This is absolutely not because the work needs to be duplicated for auditing purposes; the company genuinely operates in an old-fashioned way and is completely unable to keep up with the times.

5. Many of the long-serving colleagues are not very easy to get along with.

6. Internal infighting is severe.

Pros

The compensation and management conditions in the health and nutrition products department are good, but the biotechnology department manager needs to improve their emotional management. Although they have excellent business abilities, applying the same attitude of squeezing money out of others to their own subordinates is really unfair. Performance bonuses are also often diverted for other uses, while religious teachings are constantly promoted during working hours!
