Pros

1. The air conditioning is very cold

2. There is a cleaning lady

3. Severance pay is provided

Cons

I only found out on the day I was laid off that the manager was terrifying. It is unclear whether the company has ever replaced this manager.

1. Every month, you can communicate with the manager about anything, whether your views on the company or work-related issues. The manager will answer and respond to each matter, but this is all an illusion. You think your communication is seen as complaining in the manager’s eyes, but you do not know how the manager describes your problems and ideas. As a result, when submitting the monthly performance report to senior management, the senior manager receives the impression that you are merely complaining. You sincerely want to offer suggestions to the company and discuss improvements, but the manager turns it into you complaining!

While I was still employed, I did not realize the manager was doing this. On the day I was laid off, the senior manager described me as someone who only complained and did not propose ways to improve things. I was speechless. On the one hand, I understood that the company was merely looking for an excuse to get rid of me; on the other hand, I saw this manager clearly for what they were.

2. When discussing the company’s products or technical issues with colleagues during downtime, you may be accused by the manager of chatting.

3. They say you can eat as many snacks as you like, but the snack supply is often empty (it seems to be replenished only once a month).

4. The manager keeps an eye on you if you go to the bathroom frequently.

5. The computers provided by the company are very old.

6. The office atmosphere is extremely quiet. (The manager even talks about how good the atmosphere used to be, but whenever you discuss things with colleagues, you are accused of chatting.)

7. Every department has people without relevant experience, making communication difficult.

8. The company does not give advance notice of layoffs and makes you hurriedly pack up and leave. (I was still busy with a project that month and was pushed relentlessly, only to find out that I was being squeezed dry before being let go.)

9. The free parking spaces leave your car exposed to a lot of sunlight.

10. Paid parking spaces require an annual fee, which is non-refundable, and are assigned by lottery.

11. They keep saying it is a startup company and therefore cannot offer many benefits, while claiming that the company is working hard to improve things.

12. The advertised salary includes perfect-attendance pay; it is not the actual take-home salary.

Pros

Pros?

Honestly, I stayed for more than three years, and there were no advantages at all!

If I really had to name one, the cleaning lady would always help keep my workspace very clean!!

Cons

There are far too many drawbacks!! I’ll list them one by one!!

1. This is a 9-to-6 company, and working hours are not flexible. If you are even slightly late, you may be called in for a meeting.

2. You have to clock in at the company at 9 a.m. You are not allowed to eat breakfast in the office, because 9 a.m. to noon is working time, not break time.

3. During working hours, you cannot chat with the people around you. If you are caught chatting enthusiastically or discussing something unrelated to work, you may be labeled as having a poor work attitude. After a few incidents, you will be labeled as having a poor work attitude.

4. During working hours, if you finish today’s work, you are not allowed to take a break. You have to proactively ask, “Supervisor, is there anything else I should do?” If you do not ask and take a break on your own, you will be labeled as having a poor work attitude.

5. During working hours, even if you have finished today’s work, asked your supervisor, and confirmed that there is nothing else to do, you still cannot take a break. The company says that once you finish your work, you must improve your own abilities. You will be required to read certain books or browse the internet for ways to strengthen your skills. If you take a break on your own initiative or browse unrelated information, it will all be classified as a poor work attitude.

6. If you smoke, I do not recommend this company, because you are restricted to smoking only two cigarettes a day.

7. The atmosphere in the work environment is not very good. It is extremely depressing and quiet, as if there were a clear boundary between everyone. There is very little interaction between colleagues. Unless you want to cut yourself off from the world and go it alone, I strongly suggest you try working here.

8. The supervisors within the company each belong to a small clique. If you end up under the wrong supervisor, it is equivalent to having half of your interest in your career destroyed.

That is the entire experience!!

The following section is a bonus!!

There is a supervisor within the company who is no ordinary person. You could say that, after starting as a small team leader, he fought his way through and climbed to become a supervisor. Why do I say that?

The story begins...

Because... he is two-faced. At first, during the internal conflicts among the supervisors, he would brainwash upper management behind everyone’s backs every day, saying how this or that person was no good. Yet during work, he would appear to get along peacefully and cooperate seamlessly with you. But... after working with you... he would report other people’s faults to upper management. It felt like being stabbed in the back. Later, I watched one supervisor after another get driven out by him, including his own friends. You could say he was extremely treacherous. I really could not imagine what he would be like after becoming a supervisor. Sure enough, he became a supervisor the following year, and his methods remained the same. He would get rid of subordinates without a second thought. One colleague after another was forced out, while upper management had no idea what was really happening or understood the full story. They were brainwashed by his rhetoric behind the scenes, and everyone he disliked was driven out. It did not matter how capable you were—if he did not like you, you were sent home to fend for yourself.

All I can say is that if the company continues to have someone like him, its future is worrying.

The company has changed its name before...

極巨光數位媒體行銷有限公司 (former) = 銳洰國際股份有限公司 (current)

But I do not know whether it will change to another name in the future.

All I can say is that it is just a change of packaging without changing the substance. The people who should be replaced are not replaced, while the people who should not be replaced are let go instead. They are bringing the consequences upon themselves!

Pros

No

Cons

The positions are the same, but the salaries differ; distinctions are made based on appearance and personal impressions.

With perfect-attendance and meal allowances excluded from the base salary, it is less than 20,000.

Pros

There are snacks.

Cons

A colleague once slammed a door, burst into tears, and directly left the group chat in front of everyone.

A supervisor with a special relationship immediately stepped forward to comfort them.

I have no idea what kind of prime-time soap opera they were acting out.

Pros

Air conditioning

Cons

The salary they offered was cut by 4,000 first, and then they used a 2,000 perfect-attendance bonus in the remaining salary structure to lower the actual take-home pay. They were so stingy that all I could do was thank them and not contact them again.

Pros

None

Cons

HR has no idea what they’re doing

They got the job I applied for wrong

I also had to fill in a bunch of private personal information

The interviewer only looked at my résumé on the spot

Of course, they didn’t know which position I was applying for either

As for the salary, there’s even less to say XD

Maybe they were just looking for someone to chat with them.
