Read the community guidelinesSeeing the food production process was quite novel.
You are not given annual leave after completing six months;
base salary is underreported for labor and health insurance;
on government-mandated make-up workdays, employees are forced to take leave and have it deducted;
no matter how long you work there, annual leave is capped at 12 days, and you are also limited to taking only a certain number of annual leave days per month—any excess will result in a pay deduction;
even unused leave cannot be converted into salary. Even if you request annual leave several months in advance, if the company later schedules work,
you may still be berated and asked why you chose to take leave at that time.
Managers require you to work overtime but say they will neither provide compensatory leave nor pay you, claiming that you are under a responsibility-based work arrangement.
Labor laws are treated as whatever the boss says goes;
management has extremely poor emotional control, and company policies change constantly;
they allow favored insiders to shirk their work onto subordinates and evade responsibility;
I deeply regret joining this company.

A family business jointly managed and operated by the owner, the owner's wife, and the second generation.
They do not actually provide annual leave in accordance with the Labor Standards Act. When makeup workdays occur before consecutive holidays, employees are forced to take unpaid leave; typhoon days are also unpaid.
The company has a serious need for control. It needs to know every detail of business itinerary planning and the content of each day's client visits. Employees are watched very closely. The owner questions every detail of the daily report and then contacts customers in person to confirm and understand the situation.
The owner's wife asks the accountant to use Google Maps to check routes and mileage.
When I first joined, no one guided or trained me; I had to ask questions myself. However, there was only one acceptable answer to each question, so asking made no difference. I basically had to handle things using my own methods and experience, not realizing that the consequences would be terrible: either being scolded or being called into the office for a harsh reprimand. There was absolutely no sense of direction.
The owner claims to be very direct, but I don't think the issue is whether he is direct. I think there is something wrong with him, because he often inexplicably launches into furious tirades against people, to the point that you start questioning your life. Even when assigned tasks have been completed and done very well, the owner still keeps picking faults and berating the salesperson as if looking for trouble. There is no way to improve, yet the owner says this is how he is teaching you. I have no idea what kind of teaching that is.
My own sales abilities are already highly self-directed, but the company often interferes with my sales work. They say verbally that they will not manage me, but in practice they interfere whenever they see something, followed by sarcastic and snide remarks.
The company's culture and systems are extremely backward, and its thinking and attitudes are also very traditional. The benefits are poor as well. Apparently, almost none of the salespeople who have worked here have ever received performance bonuses. I worked there for half a year and never received one either. The way performance is calculated was described differently before the interview and after I started working.
It is easy to understand why the salespeople here never stay long and why turnover is high. There was even a long period when the company had no salespeople at all. In my experience, this company is too frightening.
Think carefully, think very carefully!

The company completely disregards Taiwan’s Labor Standards Act. They haggle with you over time off. You apply for a sales position, but they keep telling you to stay in the office doing miscellaneous tasks and making calls. The boss doesn’t even know how to check customer records. Their abilities are limited, but their temper is not; what they say today is completely different from what they said yesterday. An absolutely terrible boss.
