Pros

Kiss-up skills will get you far; smooth sailing all the way.

Cons

The moment you see it’s a family business, you can cross it off your list.

This isn’t discrimination—it’s simply the most extreme version of a family business: a bunch of eunuchs and relatives of the imperial family who are biased yet incapable of getting things done. Especially the little princess in the company—apart from getting angry, she doesn’t seem to know what else to do. She often messes things up and then needs you to help. When it comes to her own responsibilities, she’ll come to you complaining that she doesn’t have time to do them and asking you to handle them, yet she’ll inexplicably complain that other people are rude.

Then there’s the customer service kiss-up king. He’s supposedly a supervisor, but he often screenshots customers’ questions and throws them at you, saying he doesn’t understand them and asking you to solve them—even though you’re not in that department.

They make short videos talking about the reasons for their entrepreneurial success, making the benefits and atmosphere look amazing. Here, they offer everyone the ultimate solution for upgrading their lives: be born into the right family ^^ In reality, you work overtime on weekdays, only to find out that you’re still working overtime on weekends—hilarious. It’s only those few people who look close to each other who have it good. Their values are warped. Bonuses are always just talk. They make huge profits but are incredibly unwilling to share any of them, then go on about “contribution issues.” Even when performance growth far exceeds expectations, they still tell you they can’t see where your contribution is. Of course, the boss changes cars every year.

They dump all kinds of tasks on you that are far beyond what you’re supposed to do. Your responsibilities keep changing. They say they want you to “try things out,” but it’s really just directionless trial and error. Afterward, they tell you that you made no contribution. People are fired without much reason or notice, salaries are underreported, and two or three people leave every month!

Pros

A company in development, where you can grow along with it

Cons

It’s a family business, so promotions are impossible. Those at the management level are all the owner’s confidants. Flattering the boss can get you a high salary; if the boss likes you, all you have to do is say you’re tired, and the boss will give you a raise and even let you eat while working.

Other employees are not allowed to eat except during mealtimes. There are surveillance cameras everywhere, and using mobile phones is prohibited. When the boss’s daughter is in a bad mood, she humiliates people arbitrarily, despite not having the ability to do the job herself… The salary is otherwise okay.

Pros

Many aunties; relations among colleagues are generally pleasant.

The boss personally handles everything and is a serious employer.

Being a small company, there are many opportunities to participate in management.

Cons

Regardless of your job duties, you have to spend part of every day packing and moving goods.

The boss scolds people very harshly. They do not hold back when berating employees in the office, and it is also common for them to call and berate people. They use humiliating employees as a form of discipline.

They claim to be generous with pay, but are extremely particular about working hours and small matters. Raises are supposedly based on ability, but are relatively infrequent and depend more on the boss's mood.

They treat doing miscellaneous tasks as an opportunity for you to grow and learn.

They are very fond of the “wolf pack” philosophy and success-oriented teachings in the style of Business Weekly.

The above reflects my personal subjective experience and is already in the past. It is inevitably biased and may have changed, so judge for yourself.

Pros

None. This should be in the top three—or possibly second-worst—interview experiences of my life.

Cons

It doesn’t feel like a company that respects people.

Family business: the owner, the owner’s wife, and their son. Career development is basically a dead end. As for the company’s future staffing direction for shipping-related work, it mainly relies on part-time workers scheduled for 2–4 days a week (or perhaps that is already fully decided).

Unless you have diverse side skills yourself—such as audiovisual, social media, or marketing—you can supposedly try out diverse duties under the name of “multifunctional job experience,” but in reality you work as a part-time employee five days a week, doing multiple kinds of work. (The key point is that the pay is also very low. Although they say you can become a full-time employee, it takes an incredibly long time—or even after becoming “full-time,” you are still technically part-time. Huh?)

The owner’s views on employee staffing sometimes carry a condescending tone in the choice of words. For example, when asked about the part-time staffing policy:

The owner said: “To be honest, there are very few companies and businesses here, so we basically never have trouble finding workers. With this part-time policy, if someone takes personal leave or something, we don’t have to worry about being short-staffed at all.” (Is this really something a person would say...? I was left completely confused.)

By this point in the interview, my instinctive red-flag detector was already going off at full blast.

No wonder the warehouse employees are all local moms (part-time workers, after all).

The office employees also all seem extremely stressed and repressed.

All I can say is... I absolutely do not recommend this place.
