Pros

The office environment is good, and if there is anything you don’t understand, the supervisor seems very willing to teach.

Cons

During the interview process, besides the supervisor, the HR representative or the boss did indeed interrupt people while they were speaking.

The salary conditions were completely unable to meet my expected compensation. From the beginning, I had mentioned my expected salary when applying through 104, when filling out the application form on-site, and verbally during the interview, but in the end, none of this was reflected in the offer notification. There were no monthly, quarterly, collaboration, or year-end bonuses either. If these were not offered, why list them on 104, and why not say so earlier? It made me feel very deceived.

In addition, the company places great importance on the system of responsibility-based work and being able to accommodate overtime, repeatedly confirming that candidates must be able to work overtime.

Pros

The company location is easy to find, within about a ten-minute walk of the MRT station.

The receptionist was friendly and courteous, and the office environment was simple, comfortable, and clean.

Cons

Upon arriving, I first had to submit the personnel information and aptitude test that I had been asked to complete in advance.

After sitting for a short while, the receptionist gave me another preference questionnaire.

After completing the questionnaire and sitting for a little longer, HR appeared and took me to a small interview room for two people behind the waiting area.

At the beginning, I gave a brief self-introduction, and I was asked to elaborate more on my personal traits.

I was also asked some questions about online new media, my usual leisure activities and entertainment, and so on.

After the basic self-introduction, it felt like the interviewer did not want to say much and only asked, “Do you have any questions?”

Only then did we discuss the job responsibilities and the services that the company provides.

Then they continued asking, “Do you have any other questions?”

Only after that did we discuss the company’s benefits and working hours, after which all the relevant details had been covered.

For me, the atmosphere during the interview was not particularly bad, but it was not particularly good either.

Perhaps the HR representative simply had a cooler personality.

At the time, I felt that the other party did not seem to care very much (though it could also be because I was not a good fit).

Pros

No, except that the office is very spacious, has a nice view, and the receptionist was very kind. Everything unrelated to the interview was great.

Cons

I was required to complete an aptitude assessment form before the interview, and then fill out another one after arriving on site.

After I completed them, the interview did not explain the scores or meaning of either form at all.

The first interview question was to introduce myself. Before I could say three sentences, I was interrupted and asked, “Why have all your work experiences been so short?” The attitude was aggressive, and it did not seem like they genuinely wanted to understand me.

They then asked about my work samples. After I explained them, the response was, “I’ve already looked through all of these.”

Finally, they asked, “Do you have any questions for us?” After I asked about the job responsibilities and compensation, they simply recited the prepared information.

They did not ask about any important information beyond my résumé and work samples—and that information was also available on the job website. I do not understand the point of calling a job seeker all the way there without asking about any other details, then throwing them out ten minutes later. Just going through the motions?

It felt extremely disrespectful.

Pros

Convenient transportation

It is an integrated marketing company established separately by the owner of the Mamaclub website.

The company seems to have quite a lot of employees.

The clients they work with are all fairly large, and the supervisor also said they have been operating for many years, so it should be a competitive company.

Cons

HR completely takes on the role of the bad cop and will try every possible way and excuse to push salaries down.

For example, they felt they could not see the applicant’s ability from the work shown on the spot and said that even the assistants in the company were very capable, urging the applicant to consider applying for a lower-level position. They also questioned whether a married applicant could accept working overtime as required. Their wording made it feel like they were deliberately belittling people.

After the interview, HR even sent another email specifically stating the expected date for a response, but ultimately never replied. Although being ghosted is common, they had specifically promised to respond, which was completely self-contradictory, impolite, and a waste of time.
