Read the community guidelines1. Colleagues are easy to get along with
2. There is afternoon tea from time to time
1. The boss often verbally abuses and insults employees, yet also frequently boasts about how good their academic qualifications and abilities are. However, their EQ cannot keep up with their academic qualifications—IQ does not equal EQ after all.
2. Being one minute late results in half a month’s perfect-attendance bonus being deducted, but overtime cannot be calculated by the minute and can only be counted in half-hour increments.
3. Some departments love working overtime. If you do not cooperate with overtime, people will talk about you behind your back or bully you. Shouldn’t they instead consider what kind of inefficiency makes overtime necessary?
4. If an employee resigns after a long holiday, they will be accused of trying to take advantage of the salary for those few days. If they resign before the holiday, they will be required to work until the holiday, allowing the company to save the salary for those days off. They are extremely calculating.
5. Whenever the boss is unhappy, they casually threaten to sue people.
6. If the boss is unhappy with an employee, they allegedly do not want to pay the salary on time. They use wording that says they will explain when the person brings it up: it is not that they are refusing to pay the salary, but that the employee has to come and collect it in cash. This may violate the Labor Standards Act.
8. Some employees’ labor insurance salaries are underreported at the minimum level, which may also violate the law.
9. Salaries are low, yet the boss thinks they pay very well. Only after discovering a high turnover rate among new hires or being unable to recruit anyone do they think of increasing the salaries of current employees—but the raises are so small that changing jobs is a better option.
10. They easily paint grand visions, telling employees that doing tasks outside their job responsibilities will help them learn more and grow. In reality, it increases the workload without increasing pay.
11. They do not listen to what people say but love asking for their opinions. They choose not to hear anything they do not want to hear, then blame employees for having no opinions or for not following what they say.
12. Internal policies change constantly, but only through private conversations; no announcements are issued for all employees to know. Then everyone is blamed for not cooperating with the policies and for doing things according to their own ideas.
13. When there is a problem, they only know how to blame former employees. There is not a single person who has not been spoken about negatively. Blaming others is easy, but they never reflect on themselves or the system.
14. Explaining work-related problems to a supervisor feels like throwing water into the sea.

But some of it also comes from our own welfare funds
The boss seems to keep their emotional intelligence in their pocket most of the time, taking it out selectively. They often psychologically manipulate employees, look down on everyone, and are particularly skilled at belittling people and using harsh language.
If you cannot process these negative emotions, it is recommended that you not come. Receiving such a small salary while being humiliated—does the boss really think everyone has a masochistic streak?
They often tell dirty jokes and mistake humor for being funny, but they actually make others very uncomfortable. It could be considered workplace sexual harassment.
Leave taken on days off or due to the pandemic complies with the Labor Standards Act, but as soon as you take leave, they will badmouth you behind your back. If you do not participate in company activities, they will also single you out and make you notorious.
The colleagues are all pretty good and easy to get along with.
There are too many things that need improvement to know where to begin. The problems with the systems are extremely serious, and the quality is not very good either. We often need to adjust the analysis results according to the boss’s requests to satisfy the company’s business direction. The boss loves berating people, especially calling the business staff idiots, morons, and so on. I don’t know whether the boss simply doesn’t want to manage the company or lacks management ability; personally, I think it’s the latter. On the surface, the company is a consulting firm, but in reality the boss has established multiple companies that sell materials, mostly energy-dissipation components, seismic-control products, and the like. Then they try every possible way and use every means to install them wherever possible, never considering whether the buildings are suitable for installation or whether the structural performance meets the standards after installation. In short, they just install them. As for finding out which companies they are, you only need to search for the keywords “Taiwan High Court Criminal Judgment, Yi-Shang No. 1494 of 2012.” The person in charge of this company has a lengthy criminal record, which you can also look into for reference.
