Pros

Talks a good game

Cons

Summary of misconduct:

1. High salary, low reporting—reporting less than the actual amount

2. Arbitrarily changing the salary structure

3. Salary statements are not provided. If you want to inquire, the general manager will even snap at you: “They’ve already been provided!”

4. The duties performed differ from the offer

==============

The following information is provided so that future job seekers can take note of these points of concern. If you discover anything suspicious, you should make the necessary preparations.

==============

A. Why did not a single person from the previous team stay or return?

B. Why did only one junior employee return and hastily conduct less than an hour of training, after which everything was gone, including the contact information?

C. Check online to see whether the company has any records of misconduct (https://announcement.mol.gov.tw/). The company had previously been reported once for violating Article 23, Paragraph 1 of the Labor Standards Act.

D. Salary statements are not provided. (A former colleague also said that they have not received any salary statements since I left the company.)

E. The company neglects its core business and fills your workload with various unrelated small projects.

F. The company is unfamiliar with the contents of its own contracts.

Pros

Develop resilience under pressure. Reasonable demands are training; unreasonable demands are trials. If you join, you will have plenty of trials.

Cons

1. The company is very good at making grand promises and inflates its reported headcount. In reality, there are approximately three to five people handling a pile of projects.

2. Agreed-upon bonuses keep getting delayed, and once everyone has resigned, they simply do not have to pay them.

3. The company underreports salaries for payroll purposes.

4. I have never seen anyone take sports leave, and the option to work from the office one day of your choice each week does not exist either.

6. Read the contract carefully before signing it, otherwise…

7. Labor insurance registration is reported late.

8. Salaries are not necessarily paid on time.

9. One person is responsible for a pile of tasks. They do not care whether you know how to do them, and they will not give you time to familiarize yourself with the systems; you are still expected to be responsible for other projects.

Pros

It lets you know that the Labor Standards Act still has many loopholes. When you start working, you can’t afford not to understand the Labor Standards Act, but you also can’t expect too much from it...

It teaches you the realities of how society operates. You have to be a little more careful when discussing anything related to work...

It helps you practice time management. Requirements keep increasing and changing, so you have to keep adjusting and changing along with them. After you’ve changed everything, they may still tell you to change it back, but the deadline can’t be pushed back. On top of that, even when things are already very urgent, you often still have to attend meetings and write documents and logs explaining what you’re working on, while miscellaneous tasks keep interrupting you~~~

Cons

As with advantage 2, hard to say ^^

Pros

None

Cons

A company that takes on projects; when rushing to meet deadlines, employees are required to work extensive overtime, and most of the time cannot apply for overtime pay.

The boss dismisses employees without warning. During interviews, they deliberately conceal the company’s actual workforce and resources, misrepresenting the number of employees.
