The company makes you think you’re going to be hired, then goes silent. Contact them proactively to avoid having your job search delayed.
They arranged a second interview, collected all my personal information, and then became completely unresponsive. They make you think that a second interview means you’re going to be hired.
The whole process dragged on for more than a month, causing me to turn down multiple interview invitations. The interview required a presentation, so I also handed over technical materials for nothing.
A company where people coast along with no prospects, with conservative old-fashioned thinking and a penchant for pretending to be generous—there is nothing positive to say.
In 2021, the company got through the difficulties of merging into the Taisteel Group. In May 2022, it changed its chairman! Then in July, it put on a show of complying with the government’s salary adjustment policy! Immediately afterward, in August, it maliciously laid off employees who had accompanied the company for nearly 20 years, including senior engineers and mid-level managers. They were fired, with the company claiming that operations were difficult. Yet its share price and revenue were still acceptable. Instead of having senior management share the burden by taking pay cuts to get through the crisis, they cut the people below them to reduce costs. Is this really how personnel expenses should be saved? As a result, employees inside the company became anxious and insecure. It is truly tragic!! For those considering joining this company, please weigh your options carefully.

There are two interviews in total.
The first interview is with the department manager. You need to prepare a presentation and introduce your past papers or work achievements. The manager will then explain the job responsibilities and start asking questions, mainly probing your industry knowledge and past project experience.
The second interview is with an associate director, who will ask many questions about your work concepts and personality traits.
When developing a new product, how would you develop it with technology and the market in parallel?
Describe a product from your past work, explain its development process, and introduce your experience with international markets and R&D samples.
The interview process is very long, which may make people think that reaching the second interview means they will be hired. In reality, however, there may be no follow-up at all, wasting applicants’ time and leaving them waiting without even receiving a thank-you notification. When submitting the case for salary approval, HR repeatedly emphasizes that salaries in the “southern region” are very low—extremely low—and suggests that it may be better not to consider the company if money is an issue.
