Company advantages: None

Company location: Tangcheng

Cons

You’re incredibly lucky to have come across this review. After reading it, I recommend searching for “吾蜂” on Salary Search for inside information on more bizarre companies. Don’t assume that changing the company name makes everything okay. Wishing everyone success in avoiding major pitfalls!

1. A male supervisor physically touches female employees and likes to stare at them; this happens routinely every day. He has pressed employees’ shoulders, touched their hands, and commented on their clothing. His conduct is highly controversial and exists in a very gray area. He also uses various explanations to get employees to take on additional work. During evaluations, he does not grant raises based on employees’ actual contributions, but instead uses personal preferences as the standard. He has said things that make people doubt themselves, such as, “Your abilities aren’t sufficient to reach that salary level,” “You’re still far behind compared with so-and-so,” and “You’re not capable in A, so you have to do B to make up for it.” He has also told employees critical statements such as, “Everyone’s rank in the company should be lowered by one level because no one’s abilities have yet reached their current rank.” The company’s senior managers are all men.

2. The HR supervisor has a close relationship with the male supervisor mentioned above, leaving employees with no safe channel through which to voice their grievances. The overall work atmosphere is extremely oppressive and makes it impossible to relax. The company places importance on a “big family” atmosphere and holds various large and small activities, courses, group presentations, and so on.

3. There is a major gap in seniority. Many employees have stayed for a long time and have families, while newcomers and younger employees generally do not stay long. The reasons are nothing more than uneven work distribution, a hierarchy between older and newer employees, and veteran employees’ fear that their share of the pie will be taken away.

4. The company suppresses salaries and places greater importance on certain departments. Other departments may be regarded as costs rather than company assets, so resource allocation may not keep up with your good ideas.

5. This is a company where you are expected to obediently keep your mouth shut while working and leave quietly after work. Whispering to colleagues or taking breaks and relaxing can easily attract attention. If you happen to sit within the range of the surveillance cameras, you may be watched.

· This is a company with relatively traditional management and culture.

· The company claims that it has clear promotion channels and salary-increase levels for employees.

· However, it has been found that work assignments lack a clear division of responsibilities, leaving room for ambiguity.

· You will constantly be required to accommodate new people, possibly changing every two or three months, while outsiders give directions to insiders and interfere with your “professional” work.

· This is a long-established food and beverage headquarters—a retirement-style company suitable for people who want to steadily collect a paycheck and cannot achieve breakthroughs on their own.

When you see this company, just pretend you didn’t. It is a company that is impressive only on the surface. The money has all gone into the interior decoration, while the company cuts costs everywhere else, sacrifices and disregards the efforts of dedicated employees, and is polite when asking you for help but pretends not to see you when it encounters you on the street after achieving its goal. It truly overturns everything you thought you knew.

Those who want to treat this as a joke, watch the drama, or are curious enough to take a look can visit the company profile on 104 to see the fake group photo. Maybe you’re good at guessing and will get it right on your first try. It’s a pity that gifts can’t be posted here; otherwise, I’d like to hold a prize quiz!

(All of the above is completely true.)

Pros

The company is in Tangcheng, so there are plenty of places to eat downstairs, and you don’t have to go out in the rain to buy food.

Cons

First, the name of this company on the recruitment website is “吾蜂美味集團”

-

1. One company executive’s persona could roughly be described as the “physical-interaction type” (sexual harassment).

I was once touched on the back of the head without warning during a meeting, and the disgust I felt has never gone away. Other female colleagues have also said that he touched their heads and thighs, and have seen him tugging and play-fighting with female colleagues. Such an extensive “record of interactions” has had no impact whatsoever on his career development; he still sits securely in a senior position to this day and could be called one of the company’s fixtures.

-

2. Raises are difficult, but YouTube runs smoothly.

One manager really likes telling you, “Your abilities aren’t at the level required for a raise yet.”

After a while, you start wondering whether the company’s KPI is “always just a little short.”

However, seeing him frequently immersed in the wonderful world of YouTube, with quite a collection of embarrassing artistic-aesthetic images saved on his computer, suddenly makes you feel that perhaps everyone has their own area of expertise. It’s just that his expertise doesn’t seem to have much overlap with his work.

-

3. The density of surveillance cameras in the company rivals that of a reality show.

If you accidentally raise an issue with the company, you may quickly receive a “one-on-one check-in,” even if what you said is factual. Here, freedom of speech is a legendary piece of equipment; if you want to experience an immersive management culture where “every word may be overheard,” you’re welcome to join.

-

4. The most inspirational sentence every year is: “You’ll get a raise if you meet your KPI.”

And every time, I worked very hard to believe it. I met my KPI every time, but in the end received only two raises, one of which was just a three-digit amount. It gave me a profound understanding of what it means to “value participation.”

-

5. The company’s layoff list is updated as quickly as software versions.

Over time, I saw more than ten colleagues leave. Quite a few simply happened to be the wrong type for the new manager after their department changed managers. Working diligently is certainly important, but sometimes it matters less than a manager’s first impression.

-

6. The most stable thing about the company is that it is always changing.

On average, the organization is reshuffled once every six months, and moving desks has long since become routine. The truly thrilling part is that every organizational change means having to readjust to a new manager, new KPIs, and a new management style. As for the KPIs your previous manager asked you to work hard to achieve? …Leave those to your memories.

-

7. The company’s internal power struggles are as entertaining as a palace-intrigue drama.

Do you think you can stay out of trouble by keeping a low profile and doing your own work well? Think again. If your manager is eliminated in the internal power struggle, you, as their subordinate, may very well be packed up and shown the door along with them.

-

8. The most important ability in the company is not work ability, but managing upward. Here, ability determines workload, while managing upward determines your survival rate; those who are better at managing upward not only stay longer, but also have a chance to rise all the way to the ceiling.

-

9. Payday is also a kind of surprise.

The company regularly pays salaries on the 10th of every month, but if it happens to fall on a holiday, congratulations—payday will be postponed. Once, the 10th was a holiday followed by a national holiday, and in the end I didn’t receive my salary until the 14th. While other people’s salaries are deposited early, here you get to experience the feeling that “even salaries need to take a long weekend.”

-

10. Being somewhat familiar is fine; being too familiar is not.

The company places great importance on team cohesion, so it organizes activities frequently and doesn’t forget to arrange gatherings on holidays. Whether you attend or not can sometimes make you feel the full weight of their “expectations.” What’s strange, though, is that when you have lunch with a few colleagues you are relatively close to, you may instantly unlock the label “clique,” and from then on your presence on the radar rises sharply. The proper distance for teamwork is probably being familiar—but not too familiar.

Pros

1. The company’s interior décor is very beautiful, which adds quite a few points to the impression you get when interviewing.

2. A small minority of colleagues are actually quite nice—the proportion is truly very small.

3. There is a subsidy for buying a new computer; if you stay long enough, it becomes yours.

4. The company is located in the Tangcheng Park, with lots of food options downstairs.

Cons

1. All style and no substance (the company seems to prefer spending money on décor rather than paying overtime or improving benefits). There is infighting internally, surveillance cameras everywhere, high turnover, and you have to be very careful about what you say.

2. A certain small clique will joke and chat with you on the surface, but they are deeply calculating and manipulative. They may pretend to show concern while actually gossiping and mocking you behind your back. There is also a couple who would disappear together for a while during working hours; when they returned, you would notice that the woman’s lipstick had disappeared along with them.

3. Some department managers are very good at psychological manipulation or throwing their weight around. There is an unwritten rule that you have to leave late, and no one dares report overtime. On typhoon days, they will require you to work from home, but they will not pay you for it, haha.

4. I have seen several colleagues be forced to “voluntarily” resign. There have also been cases where colleagues who disliked each other came into direct conflict in the office hallway. The overall atmosphere is oppressive and tense; you cannot interact without wearing a mask, because you never know which manager or colleague might stab you in the back or even undermine you through under-the-table tactics.

5. If you are sufficiently calculating, good at managing upward, and stay long enough, you may have a chance to climb the ladder. Conversely, if you are too obedient or afraid to speak up, then even if you meet your work KPIs or achieve something, you may be forced to take a demotion and pay cut—and have it publicly announced to everyone. Just thinking about it feels discouraging and ironic. If the labor authorities came to investigate, they would probably find quite a lot, haha.

Pros

Shifts from 10:00 to 19:00 can help you avoid the hassle of rush-hour commuting.

Cons

First of all, this company is currently mainly recruiting under another name, “吾X(bee)美味集團”; 留鮮覺 is merely a company name used for accounting purposes. On the surface, the internal atmosphere is harmonious, but in reality there are all kinds of unreasonable policies and toxic workplace practices. People with connections continue to get promoted no matter how many or how serious their mistakes are, while those who raise questions or challenge things are treated as outcasts and suppressed. The organization is steeped in a culture of flattery: as long as you curry favor with the top boss, even the worst performance can be safely glossed over. The performance evaluation system appears to have rules and procedures, but in practice it is a complete mess, with all kinds of opaque decisions and suppression.

There is no need to mention the benefits—they are practically nonexistent. There is no money for the three major holidays either, only gift boxes that look nicely packaged but are actually terrible, making the benefits worse than those at some small businesses with fewer than 20 employees. The employee travel subsidy is even worse, and if you do not go, they will use various pretexts to “show concern” (emotionally manipulate) you. Why are employees expected to spend their own money and use their leave to participate? Oh, and if you have no annual leave remaining, taking personal leave will result in a deduction from your performance evaluation, affecting your salary, and they will also deduct your perfect-attendance bonus!

Most importantly, most importantly, there is someone at the company who gropes female colleagues. Reportedly, this is not the first time. Many people, constrained by financial circumstances or their own situations, are afraid to speak up despite being angry, and the key point is that someone in upper management covers for this person. Female job seekers considering submitting a résumé here: think twice. If you are a woman and have not joined yet, find another company while you can.

Conclusion: If you have received an offer but have not reported for work yet, think it over and give yourself another chance—do not be deceived by the company’s polished exterior! If you are still considering whether to submit a résumé, do not waste your life. The stage is reserved for those who fight the most ruthlessly, not for people with lofty ambitions who genuinely want to get things done.

Working hours are suitable for people who can’t get up early: 1000–1900

But leaving work.............................

Not.............................saying

Cons

1. As soon as you join, you have to sign a three-month probationary contract. The implication is that if the company asks an employee to leave within those three months, it does not count as dismissal. Naturally, there is no severance pay and no involuntary separation certificate. The company treats it as the employee’s voluntary resignation because it uses the probationary contract signed on the first day of work to silence employees. The company says its lawyer said this is allowed!! (Constitution + lawyer = employees are destined to lose… so exciting~)

2. Labor and health insurance salaries are underreported. The company says it uses group insurance to make up for it. (My sister says that isn’t allowed. She is a lawyer’s assistant.)

3. The company has no concept of privacy. Less than a week after I joined, everyone knew my salary.

4. If the franchise owner makes a mistake, the company will always only scold the employee.

5. When interviewing new hires, the company first asks you to prepare a presentation about innovative ideas and suggestions for improvements related to the job. But, but, but—you may not necessarily get the chance to attend a second interview. So the presentation you painstakingly prepared just becomes theirs~ They get it for free~ For free~

6. The company probably has 40–50 people, but it doesn’t have the management system required by the government.

7. You think you can leave work at 1900, but before you know it, your shift extends until 2100.

Sincerely informing you:

After joining, anything you sign should be prepared in two copies.

If the company doesn’t provide a copy, take a photo yourself.

On your first day, you’ll be asked to sign documents that only benefit the company in the event that something happens in the future,

leaving you feeling like you’ve started washing your hair and have no choice but to finish.

When you feel uncomfortable on your first day, believe me, you’ll often feel even more uncomfortable in the future.

Benefits look OK...

Cons

The second brand under the group looks great, but what it’s really like inside isn’t very convenient to talk about. Everyone will just have to go in and experience it "properly" for themselves.

The company will also apply the law in “wise, clever, ingenious, and formidable” ways.

Be sure to remember what you signed.

What did you sign!

What did you sign?

What did you sign!?
