The company has a very high turnover rate.
Strategies change frequently,
but most of the time, subordinates are simply told to start implementing them before they have been properly thought through.
Managers only manage upward;
they lack leadership and problem-solving skills.
It is a shame that although the company’s image is innovative, its internal culture is like that of a traditional industry company.
There are many entrenched bureaucratic practices,
and the hierarchical system is also very obvious,
which results in managers serving merely as messengers,
focused only on protecting themselves and making the data look better for upper management.
The office is very spacious, and the building looks luxurious.
A certain manager likes to exploit subordinates, dumping work they should have taken responsibility for onto them, asking them to pretend to handle personal matters, and never proactively following up on progress or showing concern. Only when upper management starts scrutinizing the situation and something goes wrong do they call on subordinates to take the blame. The subordinates are exhausted, while the manager lives as if already retired and even handles personal matters during work hours.
They lack the ability to foster team cohesion or proactively care about the department. They do not value subordinates and may even disparage and smear them behind their backs, treating subordinates with an emotional and extremely unprofessional attitude.
In this kind of environment, the more seriously you work, the more lost you will feel. People who like to slack off, have a people-pleasing personality, or are good actors are very well suited to this place.
