Read the community guidelinesThose who love working overtime, come on over. The company’s payroll system only records legally permitted hours; overtime pay for hours exceeding the limit is paid under a different name.
Give your life in exchange for more ailments and work achievements
This was my first job, so with little experience there was a lot to learn. As a plant affairs assistant, I needed to be well-connected and manage my time effectively, which gave me many valuable experiences and opportunities for growth.
I was responsible for creating, maintaining, updating, publishing, managing, and archiving various documents, as well as assisting production staff and supervisors with related matters. I became extremely proficient with the ERP system—almost all traditional manufacturing companies seem to use it—which allowed me to learn many new skills in a short period of time.
I believe I have strong problem-solving skills, take my work seriously, work hard, and pay attention to detail. Because the role required integrating and coordinating on-site and administrative units, I was able to fully apply my communication and coordination skills. These qualities helped me quickly adapt to the job, respond effectively to changes, and perform well. I was also fortunate to participate in carrying out various company activities. Feeling a sense of accomplishment at work and getting along well with my colleagues were sources of motivation for me. Inevitably, there were some frustrating situations, but I was genuinely moved when colleagues stepped up to support me!
It was highly challenging and required coordinating people and tasks. Finding a balance among them was indeed difficult, but I did not dislike this way of working. Since the company has many employees, there are naturally many areas waiting to be optimized, and I look forward to the day when my efforts will finally be recognized.
The hardware facilities are fairly new.
The third-quarter bonus and year-end bonus are first reduced proportionally by excluding the three-month probationary period, then calculated based on the base salary without bonuses. If the probationary period is extended, you receive even less—so little that it is pitiful.
There are hardly any benefits, yet a benefits fee is deducted.
Everything you apply for gets delayed, except the resignation form.
The workplace atmosphere is poor, mainly because management lacks ability.
The product quality makes it impossible to recommend purchasing the company's products.
There are not enough parking spaces for cars and motorcycles.
The starting salary was surprisingly high. Fortunately, I had done my homework and was able to answer the interviewer’s questions smoothly during the interview. The interviewer gave a detailed introduction to the job responsibilities, then asked about my expectations for working at the company in the future, why the company should hire me, and so on. These are common interview questions. I gave examples and results from my previous experience, and the interviewer nodded frequently and listened attentively until I finished speaking, which made me feel a little less nervous.
Afterward, I had a relaxed chat with the interviewer about my interests, leisure activities, and thoughts on the job responsibilities. Finally, HR introduced the company’s policies and benefits. Overall, the interview was not difficult, and the interviewer was very friendly.
The questions asked during the interview went into great detail.
My familiarity with the company’s products was assessed. Fortunately, I was able to say that the company makes bicycles. I also remembered that it has other products.
I applied and interviewed last January; the salary was still acceptable.
The receptionist was very kind and lovely. The man who showed us into the conference room (I think he was also in HR) was also very kind. He looked professional and was very patient.
Both of them were exceptionally good—great job!
The HR person who conducted the interview did not have a very pleasant tone, which left a very bad impression. They were not professional at all and were very different from the previous male HR employee!!!
I later received an offer notification, but some of the documents were not very clear. When I called to ask about them, the tone was also unpleasant and seemed very impatient (it was probably the same HR person who conducted the interview), which made me consider whether I should show up for work.
I suggest that if your company wants to grow and improve, it should improve the frontline reception staff and strengthen its training.
None ^^
Job listed in the interview invitation: Administrative Assistant, Biotechnology Department
The actual interview position: Production Line Assistant
#This is not an assistant position in the Biotechnology Department—do not go! They tricked me into attending an interview by sending me an invitation for a position I had not applied for. When I saw that it was for an Administrative Assistant in the Biotechnology Department, I thought, “Fine, I’ll go take a look.” But it was actually a deceptive interview: the position was not an assistant in the Biotechnology Department at all, but a Production Line Assistant at the Shengang Plant. It is an extremely strenuous and thankless job. Do not go under any circumstances!!!! I was absolutely furious because I traveled such a long way only to be deceived. I was completely dumbfounded. I advise everyone not to go just because you see “Administrative Assistant.” Production Line Assistants have to do all kinds of miscellaneous tasks. #You also have to work overtime the following week, as well as on weekdays. They even said that you still need to have time off—after all, people still need entertainment ^^ What are you talking about? (Please highlight this section!! Don’t be led astray.)
They just chat and say a bunch of meaningless things.
I strongly urge you again: do not go. I’m not making this up. This is a company that loves deceiving people—they trick you into coming to an interview and then tell you they have already found someone and ask you to interview for a different position. Where is the honesty and integrity?
Yet the position is still posted to this day, and it even says that interviews will be held collectively on February 15. What exactly are you trying to achieve?
The job description is completely inconsistent with the one above, and the work location is different too (it is at the old plant in Shengang).
In the end, they could not even be bothered to ask questions. Don’t expect much from the salary and benefits either—the supervisor openly stated that the company has very little structure.
