There is also free capsule coffee, or a regular coffee grinder and coffee machine available.
There are many toxic employees—not only people who can’t do their jobs, but also those who often make mistakes without apologizing.
But the company treats these toxic employees like treasures, while everyone else can only accommodate them.
What’s the point of the stock price going up? Employees don’t get dividends, and their salaries won’t increase either.
Most colleagues are quite easy to get along with.
The difficult person to deal with is a member of the royal family (the chairman’s younger brother).
He can’t do the work, yet he also affects others.
But when someone else makes a mistake, he is lightning-fast to criticize them—full marks.
There are many miscellaneous tasks to handle, and many contacts to coordinate with.
One salary, many roles.

The salary and expected compensation were seriously misaligned.
At the outset, the company proactively sent me an interview invitation. Since the compensation for this position was listed as negotiable, I did not know the specific salary range. However, given that my résumé clearly stated my current salary and expected compensation, it would be reasonable to assume that the company had assessed my information and believed it could offer corresponding compensation before inviting me to interview and negotiate further.
After I arrived at the company for the interview, I first spoke with HR and then finished a discussion with the vice president. Only afterward did the vice president say that, because my three years of work experience was considered relatively limited, the salary offer would not reach my expected compensation. When I asked roughly how much lower it would be, the vice president replied that it would be about NT$10,000 less.
Wouldn't that be lower than my current salary? The vice president said yes, but added that there would be a one-month year-end bonus.
In addition to my current monthly salary, I had also written my annual salary on my résumé, so it was completely clear that my current year-end bonus exceeds two months’ salary.
Therefore, the company’s interview invitation clearly did not take my current salary and expected compensation into consideration. It brought me in for an interview and only afterward matter-of-factly stated, “The new job you applied for pays less than your current job, and the year-end bonus is smaller.”
Job seekers should think twice about this company’s “compensation negotiable” designation. It does not mean they will assess your expected compensation before sending an interview invitation; instead, they set the salary according to their own “work experience” criteria.
The HR representative I dealt with was very pleasant.
The job description posted on 104 differs from the actual qualifications required for the position. The posting seeks an R&D designer, but the actual role involves finding products for the company to represent, which is more sales-oriented.
For your company, it may only take five minutes to explain the actual job responsibilities to an interviewee, but for an employed candidate, it means taking half a day of personal or annual leave.
Furthermore, the HR manager asked whether the interviewee could develop one product per month, thinking from the perspective of consumer products. If medical devices could be developed that quickly, I would be very happy to learn from the company.
I suggest that future candidates call to clarify the type of talent actually needed, to avoid making a wasted trip.
The headquarters is near Daan MRT Station. The company is located in an older building. The office is not large, but its interior is stylish.
The HR assistant responsible for telephone invitations is friendly and polite, and offers water to job applicants.
Invitation stage: The company proactively sent an interview invitation. After the applicant replied, there was no further contact or interview scheduling, so the applicant had to call to confirm.
Initial interview stage: A standardized form had to be completed, which took approximately 20 minutes. During the process, it was possible to hear other office colleagues chatting during working hours.
Because the company had an internal meeting that day and it was delayed, no meeting room was immediately available. The HR manager was in the meeting, so the HR assistant had to handle the situation first.
The senior HR manager does not understand English; please use Chinese.
The senior HR manager does not understand the business or products.
The senior HR manager does not understand what the company's five-year development plan involves.

NO
They notified me at the last minute on the day of the interview that the location had been changed.
After the first interview, they said the HR manager would interview me and explain the company's policies and information.
When the HR manager came in, they asked me what else I needed to know. ???
Wasn't it your job to tell me about the company information?!!!
After I asked, they just said everything follows the Labor Standards Act, which was very perfunctory.
Later, I went home and completed the interview assignment. I even submitted it early, and they said they would get back to me.
I waited half a month, but never heard anything!!!!
I spent time over the weekend making a poster.
At the very least, they should have notified me whether I got the job and why.
Overall, a very rude company.
