Pros

Everything is a drawback.

Cons

The company wants everything to be cheap and buys everything from Taobao.

It fundamentally does not respect expertise; free is best.

All the good employees have been driven away—once they have been used, they are discarded.

Anyone considering working for a company that refuses to spend money on anything should think twice.

Unless you really do not care about your future, do not waste your time.

You can even skip considering the interview.

Pros

It’s great having absolutely no customers, haha.

Cons

I've been working at this job for almost half a year.

I really have a lot of thoughts about it.

When I first joined, they said it was really easygoing.

(What company would say that about itself...)

Then I happened to meet an employee who was about to leave. I asked how long he had worked there (half a year)—was he being brought in to train his replacement...?

The supervisor talks about gossip every day and keeps saying how awesome he is.

The most outrageous thing is that the salary is said to be 24,000, but after deductions it’s even less than the minimum wage. On top of that, they force you to work overtime every day (unpaid).

There are also employees with an extremely strong slave mentality who work overtime like crazy—off work at 6:00 every day, but they won’t leave their desks until 9:00 or 10:00.

Every time the supervisor sees someone about to leave early, he adds,

“Even after work, you should continue to improve yourself, and you must always be on standby. If something comes up and I call you, you have to answer.” (???)

The salary is only 24,000, but they act as if you’re earning 40,000 a month.

And when they call you, there’s never anything important. They just ask whether you want to come back for a meeting, where something was put, or what you’re doing. Excuse me????

Also, the company has no clear SOPs or rules. You do something first, and then they scold you for doing it wrong, saying you don’t even understand common sense. (Great.)

The boss wanted all employees to prepare a report. The supervisor didn’t want to do it, so he directly told an employee to do it for him. Wonderful!

If your company wants to run any kind of marketing advertisement, sorry, the company has no budget. You’re expected to use your own abilities and connections to make it happen. If you don’t produce results, it’s 100% the employee’s fault. If you do produce results, there will definitely be something for the supervisor and boss to criticize. Complaint: “Aren’t we lucky this marketing campaign didn’t get a budget? Otherwise, how much would we have lost?”

Wow, this completely shattered my worldview.

(What company would ever say it’s laid-back about itself⋯)

Then, by coincidence, I met an employee who was about to leave and asked how long he had worked there (half a year). Were they just hiring replacements⋯?

The manager talks about gossip every day and keeps saying how amazing he is.

The worst part is the salary: they say it’s 24,000, but after deductions it’s even below minimum wage. On top of that, they force you to work overtime every day (without paying you).

There are also employees with an extremely slave-like mentality who work overtime like crazy—officially finishing at 6:00 p.m. but refusing to leave their desks until 9:00 or 10:00.

Whenever the manager sees someone about to leave first, he always adds:

“Even after work, you should make good use of your time to improve yourself, and you must always be on standby. If something comes up and we call you, you have to answer.” (???)

Holy crap, this completely shattered my worldview.

Nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing.

Cons

They scheduled an interview and still arrived almost an hour late, which made me very unhappy. The smell of smoke in the office was extremely strong. I don't know how the employees here manage to survive. I can only feel sorry for their health. Throughout the interview, I could only hold my breath so that I could get this all over with quickly. The fact that this office is located in a residential area is itself a major problem!! Anyone coming for an interview should think twice about whether they want to spend their time at this kind of company.

Pros

The company name sounds really nice

Cons

The salary structure is split into countless pieces, and labor and health insurance are both underreported. They even say it’s to give employees a raise—isn’t it really just to save themselves money? The salary is also below market rate, yet they think they offer the highest pay. No need to top up or buy a monthly pass: general affairs, HR, sales, procurement, marketing, finance, and administration—acquire all the skills in one go. Comparing prices when shopping is important; the same quality can have different prices. Let’s compare professional services too—their employees and vendors alike all have to be bargained down.

The boss and the consultant just love wearing cow masks and pretending to be bulls—what a load of bull. The boss creates an extremely poor operating environment. Even when employees get along very well, turnover is still very high! The consultant only knows how to tell employees to change their way of thinking. Hello! Why not just replace their brains for them!

Damn, I’m watching Schindler’s List, and I feel like crying while writing this. Anyway, the boss is no good Samaritan!

Not short of money, but deeply servile—welcome to apply. If you’re quiet, cheap, and professional, congratulations, you’re hired!

Pros

None.

Cons

Think carefully before deciding to work here. This is a company that shows very little respect for professional expertise. Don’t expect to do only work related to your specialty here—every employee may also be required to handle general affairs. Supervisors nitpick over every expense, and when necessary, you may even have to pay out of pocket for essential office supplies first. Not only will your salary be placed in the lowest pay bracket and underreported, but overtime must also be applied for in advance and approved by the boss. Everything is done according to whatever the boss says or happens to think of, with constant last-minute changes that waste time. The company will first recruit people by quoting a certain total salary, then split your pay through bonuses (make sure you read the contract carefully!). Bonuses are basically paid or withheld depending on whether the boss feels like it. The salary you can reliably receive is definitely less than what was stated in the interview (attendance alone will cost you NT$2,000). The boss has absolutely no concern or respect for employees—you can come and go as you please—and freely smokes heavily in the office at any time, regardless of how much secondhand smoke you inhale. As a result, turnover is extremely high. If you come for an interview, don’t let yourself be misled. Be sure to ask clearly about the detailed job responsibilities, the arrangements for overtime or shifts, whether overtime or shift allowances are provided, and the detailed salary structure. That way, you won’t blindly waste a great deal of time here.

Pros

After two years with the company, its biggest advantage is that it has thoroughly planned for the near, medium, and long term. Unlike the other companies I worked for previously, whose leaders didn’t even have a clear direction.

Cons

The salary is average.

I applied because I personally longed for a life by the sea. During the interview, I discovered that the boss was very visionary. Everyone might want to take a look at the boss’s personal profile.

The salary and benefits are quite good.

There are no advantages, only disadvantages

Cons

If you really like smoking, then I recommend joining.

The boss likes to smoke during working hours, and the smell of smoke drifts over from time to time, regardless of how many people are indoors.

What is the Tobacco Hazards Prevention Act? Can you eat it?

Eating is expensive and inconvenient.

If you value your life, I don't recommend coming.

Interviewed this year

It is difficult to find much information about this company online.

The office is located in a very old residential building. The air is quite stuffy.

There are no restaurants nearby, so getting food is inconvenient. It seems there are only two or three employees.

I searched on Google and found that they had a case with the government a few years ago. However, according to a relative who lives in that area, it is still quite desolate there, so perhaps it will be developed in the future.

I asked some seniors familiar with the relevant industry or who are into boating about this company. Its reputation is not good.

After considering these points, along with the vague sense of uncertainty I felt during the interview, I ultimately did not respond to the company at all.

You can go to an interview in person, see what the experience is like, and then make your decision.

I interviewed at the Taichung headquarters last year. The experience was extremely unprofessional and very uncomfortable!!

The office is hidden inside a luxury residential building near the Taichung National Theater.

The weather that day was unusually hot and muggy, with the indoor temperature reaching 28–30°C, yet the office did not turn on any air conditioning or climate control.

Employees could only use electric fans.

The most important point is that the waiting area I was assigned to did not have even a single electric fan. On top of that, the drinking water the receptionist gave me was hot water.

I don't know what I did to offend them?

---------------------------------------------

The interview process was quite bizarre. I was not invited into the general manager's office until 15 minutes after the scheduled interview time had already passed.

Why did it take so long? Because the general manager was smoking a cigar inside, and the smell was so strong that they had to open the windows and use an electric fan to ventilate the room and remove the odor.

Then there was the interview itself.

They kept emphasizing that they were positioned as a “luxury brand” and targeted “wealthy people, tycoons, and affluent ladies,” repeatedly stressing how high-end they were. I found it very uncomfortable. When my language ability was discussed, the interviewer actually showed me a LINE conversation and asked me to briefly translate it into Japanese. Afterwards, he used LINE's translation to check whether my translation was correct. He did the same with English. It was extremely bizarre!

At the end of the interview, this gentleman actually asked me to add him on LINE, saying that he would send me the presentation materials I needed to prepare for the second interview via LINE. For the second interview, I was asked to recreate a presentation they had already prepared in my own way, then give the presentation in a meeting room at the Kaohsiung branch. What was strange was that my résumé clearly included my email and other contact information, yet sending the second-interview materials to a job applicant this way was somewhat disrespectful of the applicant's privacy and also highly unprofessional.

In the end, despite having 3–4 years of work experience, I was told that I had never worked after entering the workforce, so the salary would be 25K.
