How many days in advance must an employee give notice when voluntarily resigning?
1. For an employee terminating an indefinite-term contract, the following rules apply: If they have worked continuously for three months or more but less than one year, they must give ten days' notice. If they have worked continuously for one year or more but less than three years, they must give twenty days' notice. If they have worked continuously for three years or more, they must give thirty days' notice. 2. For a fixed-term contract for a specific purpose with a term exceeding three years, the employee may terminate the contract after three years have elapsed. However, they must give thirty days' notice.
There are a great many unreasonable rules. For example, employees are prohibited from drinking water at their workstations, and so on.

During the pandemic, there were scheduling issues. If it was unpaid leave, then it was unpaid leave—why did employees also have to sign some kind of scheduling form?
If there were layoffs, then there were layoffs. When employees applied to the company for leave without pay, they were told that headquarters had rejected it, and then employees arranged their own resignations.
There were also a lot of problems at the front desk. There was a cliquish atmosphere among the morning and afternoon shifts, led by the front-desk supervisor.
There were many unreasonable rules. Employees were not allowed to go to the restaurant to eat during working hours; they could only do so after clocking out.
When members of her own clique made mistakes, she would gloss over them, but if someone was not part of her clique, she would magnify the mistake and reprimand them. After the afternoon shift finished handing over at 9 p.m., they did not enter the orders from the emails at all—they just chatted and goofed off, claiming that the afternoon shift was very busy and had no time. One person surnamed Tsai on the afternoon shift even personally attacked a former assistant manager. No wonder that person left.
Anyway, I’ve left. There is a Chinese saying that is true: “Petty people and women are difficult to deal with.”

The interviewers felt strange and asked very strange questions. It didn’t seem very professional.
The salary for the receptionist position is extremely low—only a little more than NT$22,000... I recommend this to people who aren’t under financial pressure.
