Pros

Absolutely no pros

Cons

I clearly listed my work experience on my résumé, and it also stated that I am currently employed.

Then, when I said I was available to talk on the phone, that did not mean I was available to listen to you ramble on. You immediately asked me to introduce myself.

Could your company please review the résumé first and think through what you want to ask before calling job applicants? What is written in the company’s brief description on 104 and what the supervisor says on the phone are really quite different. Here are a few examples:

1. You said employees are expected to learn on their own, but the 104 listing says there is an education and training system?

2. You said the benefits all comply with the Labor Standards Act. Isn’t that just stating the obvious? Are you implying you would otherwise violate the law? When I asked how many days of annual leave there are, you wouldn’t explain clearly and only said it complies with the Labor Standards Act. What are you trying to hide?

Then, after the call—which lasted only 15 minutes—I was hired anyway. It seems your company is really short-staffed.

Pros

1. Extremely high hiring rate because no one comes to the interviews.

2. An opportunity to develop strong stress tolerance, as the boss has violent tendencies.

3. Broaden your perspective on work by witnessing firsthand illegal practices such as giving clients kickbacks and funneling illicit money.

Cons

1. The company claims externally that it has 12 employees, but in reality it only has 5.

2. All company processes are decided solely by the boss. Regardless of the position you apply for, there are no systems or SOPs.

3. Since everything is decided solely by the boss—but communicated unclearly and often without getting to the point—employees work slowly and chaotically.

4. Once hired, employees are left to fend for themselves. The training listed on 104 is fake.

5. The boss has violent tendencies, takes the lead in sowing discord among employees, and bullies them in the workplace. More than five employees have already fallen out with him.
