Cons

I clearly listed my work experience on my résumé, and it also stated that I am currently employed.

Then, when I said I was available to talk on the phone, that did not mean I was available to listen to you ramble on. You immediately asked me to introduce myself.

Could your company please review the résumé first and think through what you want to ask before calling job applicants? What is written in the company’s brief description on 104 and what the supervisor says on the phone are really quite different. Here are a few examples:

1. You said employees are expected to learn on their own, but the 104 listing says there is an education and training system?

2. You said the benefits all comply with the Labor Standards Act. Isn’t that just stating the obvious? Are you implying you would otherwise violate the law? When I asked how many days of annual leave there are, you wouldn’t explain clearly and only said it complies with the Labor Standards Act. What are you trying to hide?

Then, after the call—which lasted only 15 minutes—I was hired anyway. It seems your company is really short-staffed.
