Read the community guidelinesA certain manager in the IT department is moody and prone to loudly berating people. Working under this kind of manager can strengthen your ability to handle pressure.
The turnover rate among entry-level IT engineers is extremely high. Most predecessors leave in haste before completing the handover, and even the manager in question does not understand the company’s internal IT architecture. There is much work to be done. If you are fortunate enough to have worked at this company, you will likely strengthen your hands-on experience in a short period of time.
Today I happened to notice that the same long-standing job opening has appeared on 104 again.
I came here specifically to share my experience as someone who has been through it, in the hope that it may be helpful to others.

Being late three times by three minutes each month results in a NT$1,500–2,000 deduction from the perfect attendance bonus. For lateness beyond those three instances, NT$50 is deducted for every minute. Both leave and lateness result in points being deducted, and additional money is deducted at year-end based on the points, effectively resulting in duplicate deductions. The starting salary for overseas sales is NT$45,000; if performance targets are not met, 20% is deducted. Given that the products are priced higher than those of other companies, they are essentially impossible to sell. Moreover, wage deductions are plainly illegal under the Labor Standards Act, and quite a few former employees have reported the company to the labor authorities. The main point is that none of these deductions are mentioned during interviews. They portray the company as wonderful and full of prospects, lure people into joining, and then criticize them over everything. The supervisor monitors subordinates’ phone calls and surveils everyone’s computers and email accounts—an outright invasion of human rights.

The turnover is extremely high. Over the past few years, the number of people who have resigned or been fired should exceed 1,000. They use illegal methods such as cutting wages by 20% to force people to leave. The boss believes employees who leave work on time are all useless; only employees who are always available on demand are considered good employees. The managers are all relatives of the boss, and even losing more than ten million causes no consequences. The business managers do no business work all day; they only monitor employees’ computers and listen in on their phone calls. The starting salary is low. The managers are all idiots. The boss pays foreign domestic helpers less than 10,000 to care for two disabled elderly people with dementia. Employees have to write reports for overtime, and the boss only pays them if he approves. A fortune-teller casually says a few words, and the boss spends over a million on a feng shui fish pond and several million on a signboard, as well as carrying out major construction work in the office. It is simply brainless. Anyone who comes to work here is unlucky. Apart from the managers who are relatives of the boss, no one stays for long. The fact that this company has not gone under yet feels like a miracle to me (lol
