1. The HR department is unprofessional. They may underreport your insured salary bracket for labor insurance, and even pretend not to understand when you point it out.

When you show them the relevant legal provisions, they become afraid of being sued and quickly report the correct salary bracket.

2. If they ask you to go on a business trip, they also require employees to sign a strange contract stating that they cannot resign within a certain period of time; otherwise, you have to repay all the business-trip expenses yourself before you can resign.

Employees go on business trips for work, not for vacations. The small business owner is extremely stingy (the owner of Haodi Home Furnishings).

3. When you join, they will first cut your salary, saying that it will be adjusted after the probationary period ends.

After the probationary period, they use various excuses not to adjust your salary back to the salary you originally expected.

4. If you have strong opinions of your own or work too seriously, you will be treated as an odd one out.

What they need here is someone who slacks off, does not have too many opinions, and has no goals in life.

The company is managed based on personal relationships and exploits legal loopholes in gray areas (for example, employees are forced to take personal leave to get vaccinated. If they experience any issues the next day, they must provide a doctor’s certificate or medical receipt; the vaccination card is not accepted. Otherwise, the absence is automatically treated as personal leave).

The bosses and supervisors are extremely petty and stingy. The company neither organizes activities nor provides any employee benefits, yet it deducts employee welfare funds from your salary. It then uses the money to issue gifts or bonuses on the three major traditional festivals and tells you that these are your festival bonuses, even though they are clearly taken from your original salary.

The supervisors’ professional abilities are extremely inadequate. You have to solve difficulties on your own and cannot get assistance. When problems arise, supervisors only endlessly shift blame and shirk responsibility. Handover procedures and training are also inadequate, so you have to figure out and find answers to all work-related matters yourself.

On the bright side, this taught job seekers who are too quick to trust informal notices (such as I was) a valuable lesson. If you receive an offer or interview opportunity from another company while interviewing with this one, under no circumstances should you turn it down because of this company. Consider your options carefully.

Everything still seemed normal at the time of the interview. A few days later, HR contacted me through 104 to ask whether I could start the following week, and I immediately replied that I could. Yet less than three days later, they sent another message through 104 saying that the current employee would not be leaving after all, and acted as if nothing had happened. Apparently, the interviewer's time is time, but the interviewee's time is not. It felt as though interviewees were treated as backup candidates who could be summoned at will and dismissed just as easily. They went back on their word and showed absolutely no respect.
