The problem is the administrative department w manager, who handles HR, cashier duties, general affairs, and procurement.

Whatever they do, something goes wrong.

Besides shirking responsibility, they spend all day pretending to be busy and eavesdropping. They also secretly rummage through the front-desk drawers while the receptionist is away mailing a letter, pretending to stamp documents. At the same time, they have caused the company's accountants to resign one after another. As an HR professional, they even get the monthly figures for calculating the supplementary National Health Insurance premiums wrong every time. Most outrageous of all, while also serving as the cashier, they once mistakenly paid a host the wrong amount—double the correct payment.

As a procurement employee, they never negotiate prices. They only exploit the general-affairs resources of the parent company and are completely capable of doing nothing but stamping items brought in by others, leaving the company's existing suppliers unwilling to do business with it at all. Anything that has to go through them becomes unbelievably difficult.

The entire company is waiting for this toxic remnant of the previous administration to retire.

Pros

From time to time, there are arts and culture PR tickets or tickets to special film screenings available. The office colleagues get along well. The radio station is highly informative and may help broaden people’s cultural and humanistic knowledge. If program department staff adapt to the environment, they may have a chance to win a Golden Bell Award for broadcasting.

Cons

In theory, the workday ends at six, but at seven the office is still full of people. There is a strong culture of working overtime.

Although it is clearly a media company, it does not have the lively feel of the media industry. The office atmosphere is very quiet, and speaking even slightly louder will get you reprimanded. There is also no sense of urgency about the rapid changes in new media; instead, the company takes great pride in its own highbrow standards.

Some keywords for the managers are: conservative, anti-LGBTQ+, pan-blue, Christian, and rigid.

Simply put, it is very difficult for junior employees to innovate and break through, while it is not difficult for managers to stay there, stubbornly holding their ground until retirement.
