I used to work here. The boss is exploitative and petty, cutting costs wherever possible. Due to understaffing, some employees are constantly made to work overtime while others have normal working hours. Product dates are changed randomly. It feels like this company won’t last long. They often engage in underhanded tactics, and their relationships with partner vendors are also poor. It’s a heartless industry.

This is a terrible company. The boss is very calculating and malicious. When he doesn’t want to keep someone, his methods include:

1. If he doesn’t want to formally terminate you, he will find someone else for the same position and have the two of you compete, using that person to get rid of you.

If that person also doesn’t meet the boss’s expectations, then you will be made to get rid of that person. And that’s not the end of it! After the person who was pushed out leaves,

the boss will not let you off either. He will start looking for another candidate and continue searching for an opportunity to get rid of you, until you leave on your own.

2. He will hire another person to do essentially the same work as you, but he will keep the two of you separated and sow discord between you. For example:

He will ask you to plan a project and tell you A, while telling the other person B. In fact, what he wants is B. After you spend a great deal of time working on A,

　he will then tell you that he wanted B, while criticizing your work for being poorly done. This makes you doubt your own abilities, feel ashamed, and resign.

Unless you are more calculating than the boss, you absolutely should not stay at this company.
