1. If young people have ambitions and can find other jobs, they absolutely should not come to this company and waste their time. Those who stay here for years are usually people who lack the ability to find jobs elsewhere.
2. Some employees have worked here for several years without receiving even a cent of a raise. Even senior colleagues who have worked here for more than ten years only receive raises of a few hundred dollars. More importantly, you have to say the right things rather than do the right things.
3. In one department, after the manager resigned first, the employees followed suit and left, leaving the department practically disbanded.
4. Quite a few managers have raised the issue of salary increases. After doing so, they are the first to be targeted, and eventually those who have the ability can no longer take it and leave first.
5. The turnover rate in the sales department is exceptionally high—so high that the low salaries are common knowledge within the company.
6. If you do not have the boss or the boss’s wife on your side, you might as well resign yourself to earning the same salary for the rest of your life. There was even a senior colleague whose year-end bonus was only a few thousand dollars for several years. After coworkers pointed out how little it was, the colleague realized the situation and raised it with management, only to be blacklisted immediately and resign not long afterward.
7. There are many long-term employees who have worked here for more than ten or twenty years, while new hires constantly come and go and do not stay long. Anyone with ability, ideals, and ambition would not want to build a long-term career here.
8. You cannot learn anything. Management often proposes things, but they frequently come to nothing in the end, and the managers do not care. They may even resign before the employees do.
1. Working hours are slightly shorter than at typical companies: working from 09:00 to 17:30, with a 1.5-hour lunch break
2. Banquet: A Christmas dinner is held at Christmas
3. On the day before a long holiday, employees can leave work 2–4 hours early
1. The boss does not value employees, and staff turnover is high
2. The year-end bonus is decided subjectively by the boss's wife, with no fixed standard, ranging from several thousand to tens of thousands of dollars
3. A family business with no promotion system; the average annual raise is less than 500 dollars
4. Sales staff receive only a base salary: the boss believes that he negotiated all the agency products, while sales staff merely help maintain customer relationships, so there are no performance bonuses
5. On make-up workdays, employees are forced to use annual leave without consultation
6. Overtime is always compensated with time off in lieu (unused time off expires after three months), with no consultation with employees about choosing overtime pay
7. Job responsibilities are frequently changed, and employees may even be transferred to another department
